Citra Pest Control

I just had a second service for an entrenched infestation of carpet beetles. Citra is the fourth company I went to for help & I suggest you don't waste time anywhere else! Unbelievably, I wasn't the one firing the other companies. For example, one said that they are not licensed after inspecting my home therefore, they could not treat the problem.

They also misidentified the pest. Another company told me to seek help elsewhere because they were too busy after days of working with me to identify the what kind of bug it was. Citra has been very responsive; they answer every one of my many questions, return all of my phone calls and they came back early for a re-treatment because I was concerned that I was seeing too many bugs!

This second time they moved furniture away from the wall which I could not & even lifted up one of my mattresses & it's box spring to inspect & treat under it. When I returned home with my cat we found that the cushions on furniture had been turned over. The guys were very thorough! If that wasn't enough, Israel caught my tiny cat who was eluding me & the cat carrier so we could leave for a couple of hours as required.

She was running from room to room & he simply blocked her path & picked her up. It was funny to see the look on her face as this tall guy held her in the air. Israel says he's not just an exterminator, but an experienced cat owner. That day I was grateful for both!

I live near a levee so critters are common and so are bugs of various kinds. I've been with Citra for about 4 years now and they're always really helpful and take their time with my questions n dramas. Even when booking appointments I never feel rushed or like I'm annoying them which is kind. Today, Alex came and helped me find where a new influx of spiders was coming in!

Quick addition of some caulking tomorrow should help me a bunch! He wore his mask and booties and took his time addressing all my concerns. Thx, Alex and Citra! SO so much. Critters they've helped me with: spiders (major infestation), cockroaches, ants, wasps and probably more Im forgetting!

We signed up with Citra a few months ago. From the beginning they have been professional, knowledgable, and most important they eradicated all of our pest issues. I highly recommend the company and their services.

From the beginning with a request for service I was very impressed with Erica's pleasant personality and level of details to address my issues with ants and a rodent. She explained the entire process with a "smile" in her voice and was patient as I asked several questions about their on-going maintenance. Israel spoke to my son & I in detail on what his findings were and what services he was to perform today. He even pointed out an area where I needed to close so no rodents could pass through. Very please with their service and professionalism so far.

Citra is always thorough -- cares about any concerns I might have, and are genuinely nice people. I wouldn't use any other company.

3 days after treatment, I still have fleas in the yard. I called Citra and told the manager, Mike, my concern. Mike told me to, wait 10 days for results, then, if the problem persists, they will come again for a free. After giving Mike more information about our neighbors pets, and the fleas still in the yard, Mike immediately scheduled our house for respray tomorrow, Friday morning. Nice to have someone who cares about the customer and tries to do the best job possible. Thank you Mike and you staff. Tom and Kathy

Just be aware they do not work with townhouses. This is the first time a company refuses service (flea and spiders) to me because it is a townhouse connected to other homes.

Great experience so far. All the paperwork was signed on line including adding payment info. Arranging the date and time with the office was easy and the technician was super friendly and knowledgeable. He was training two other guys and I could tell he was explaining a lot to them as they worked. Only thing was in their zeal to knock down a bunch of spider webs on my patio, they knocked down 3 command hooks and I had to restring some patio lights. Already saw a bunch of ants swarming the bait and within 8 hours they were gone.

Citra continues to provide great customer service. I had my regular pest control maintenance done by Abraham today, and he was punctual, patiently answered all the questions I had, and did a thorough and conscientious job when spraying the property. Just about every technician Citra has sent has been polite, professional, and pleasant to communicate with, and I appreciate how customer service-centric the company is.

Technician Abraham Rico came by for my initial treatment today. I had a lot of questions and was really concerned about keeping any insects at bay. He was very detailed and validated my concerns. It's too soon to know the full results of treatment, but I've already seen positive signs (dead bugs) just hours later. Looking forward to additional treatments and summer free of pesky critters!

We have a roaches & ants and called Citrus. They were super friendly & knowledgeable. Once our technician came he was so helpful in going over everything with me. Very professional & helpful, it's only been a day & I can already see the roaches dying.

TL;DR: they were tremendously helpful with an unusual situation over phone & email, without my even paying them! I will be returning to this company for future pest control. I called Citra fearing that I had bed bugs, but thinking I might have carpet beetles instead. They offered to take a look at photos over email, and they were able to quickly confirm (within a few minutes) that I had carpet beetles instead of bed bugs (whew! still obnoxious, but much better & cheaper to deal with; they feed on organic fibers instead of humans). Citra offers treatments for carpet beetles.

But I mentioned that I have some formerly feral cats that are very hard to capture & move, and that I was worried about removing the cats from the premises for the treatment. The cat-owning Citra rep (Tonya) was extremely sympathetic and helped me figure out a plan to try to DIY the beetle treatment for now (which is also sometimes successful). And they told me to feel free to call back for more advice -- all without charge. They were very kind & helpful, and if I do end up needing professional pest control help, I will certainly be calling them!

Poor service, not able to help short term, just interested to sell their stuff without taking into account my needs.

They are excellent in every respect. Period. They were very responsive over the phone, and worked hard to fit me into their schedule on short notice. The technician that came was knowledgeable and thorough. Give the a shot - You will not be disappointed.

Been using Citra for more than a year to control the ant issue. So far, it's been very good. Everytime the ants start to come back, it's about the time Citra comes for the scheduled spray. I've also asked them to use non-toxic spray. Nick typically services my home and he's always professional, friendly, and accommodates my requests. He even cleans up and is mindful of my kid's playground.

Nick is wonderful -- kind, concerned -- thorough and always wants to make certain that he is available to answer any questions. Highly recommend Citra, as always.

Excellent service. Would highly recommend! We had a flea problem in our backyard which Orkin could not take care of even after multiple treatments. After one treatment from Citra I haven't seen a single flea. Nick, who did our treatment was very polite and took care of our problem. Thank you!

Responsive and great to work with. Nick came last time and was incredibly competent and kind. We had a terrible issue with silverfish which now seems to have been resolved. A to great experience for us and we will definitely use again if needed.

The service is great! Our technician Israel was very friendly, quick, and efficient. The online portal is very convenient for payment and they were responsive about scheduling appointments and making changes.

My rental house got severe German roaches problem. Citra Pest control put it under control after six services. The front desk staff and the technicians Abraham and Angel are very good and professional and easy to work with. And the products they used are working and efficient. And they always communicate with me before and after each service. Highly recommend them!

I truly don't understand their perfect rating. I started service 6 months ago, and from the start there were problems with miscommunication from the office. Long story short, they never got rid of the roaches nor the rats outside. My home was sealed before hiring them, but I have a shed outside. Just tonight I saw a huge rat running into it. They don't even touch the bait Citra places in the bait boxes. This company is incompetent.

We have been having big ant issues since summer. Luckily we found Citra pest control to come over to help us fix the problems. Our recent technician Nick is very professional, polite and explained things well. He is also very patient to answer all our questions and provide us with solutions. Citra Pest Control is prompt, reliable, reasonably priced, and professional. What more could you ask for? I asked for a quote and was promptly replied to. Tonya called me and asked some questions about the situation and property to assess the situation. They were friendly and it was easy to understand. The tech who came to the house was very courteous and professional as well.

They explained how the treatment would work (how the spray works, where they would spray to get the pests, where the pest infestation likely is, etc.). They also wore slip-ons for their shoes, which was nice as well. Every question I had was answered clearly, which I greatly appreciated. Would definitely come back to them for future pest issues.

I had crazy amount of ants. All summer long. The usual traps from the big box store just not effective this year. I used Citra 4-5 years ago when a server of ants happened and it really did the job. I didn't have an ant for a couple years. So 3-4 Weeks ago, we had Enough and called Citra to help. Abraham did try initial service. He was incredibly professional and thorough and explained everything he did.

The service includes a revisit after 15 days of ants are persistent. I was still getting a couple stragglers, so decided it would be best to utilize the free revisit. Nick came by this morning to spray the problem areas again. He was very thorough and careful and explained everything well. Hopefully the ants will stay away a couple of trays again.

Nick Delfino has serviced our house on many occasions. Very prompt with his service, clear communication, and very responsive to our needs. He always strives to go above and beyond. Highly recommend Nick to anyone requiring very thorough pest/insect control service for their home.

Citra was recommended by a friend and Nick came over quite punctual. His job was meticulous and as instructed on specific spots. He also dewebbed around the house while my service was for fleas. We had our initial and today was a follow up. I would recommend Citra to fnfs.

I've been using Citra Pest Control for a year, and every experience I've had with them has been great. I really want to commend the technician who came to service my property. Angel was fantastic! This was my first service with Citra and he was incredibly thorough! I've had other pest companies come out and have skimmed over their services and I never felt they were paying attention to my concerns. Angel listened to me and explained his process and all the steps of his service and future services.

He inspected the problem areas and did a walkthrough with me. I felt like he had great attention to detail and impeccable service. Everyone I spoke to from Erica at the office for the initial appointment to Tanya who confirmed with me and most of all Angel, the folks at Citra are really a cut above the rest! 10/10 would recommend to EVERYONE!

Citra Continues its five star rating. I've never seen a service provider to that. But I understand why. Even though they were booked out a couple of weeks, they explained everything in advance and showed up on time. The service was done faster than the one hour quoted, but that was with a trainee helping. I'm glad to know that when they're back they will be done within an hour. The technician was polite clean efficient and effective. Any more shoe coverings without being asked.

Great experience. Their service team are professional, respectful, and very responsive. From the office to the field tech who understood my concerns and respected my wishers to wear booties, putting them on and taking them off when entering and exiting our home. We've had Citra come to our rescue on a previous rental with proven results and decided to scheduled a service at our new location. I had a wonderful experience with Citra Pest Control! I first called a week ago shopping around with prices. The woman I spoke to was so friendly and provided fantastic customer service. I set everything up online yesterday and Martin the technician came over today to spray our front/back yard. He was absolutely wonderful! He was incredibly punctual and showed up exactly at 11:30! (The time frame I was given was 11:30 - 1:30pm.) He made sure to understand all of my needs/concern areas and did a fantastic job. I highly suggest them to anyone!

Mike and team were awesome in getting ants out of our property. We had so many ants at our new home but after the treatment, we haven't seen a single one in almost a month. Compared to the bad service from Orkin (trust me do not use Orkin), I love the service I get from Citra Pest Control, they are very professional and courteous. Nick is my regular technician he goes the extra mile, he is very thorough cleans out all spider webbing, sprays everywhere even in the cracks where bugs are known to be. I haven't had a critter problem since I started service with Citra Pest Control. I definitely recommend them.

My wife and I had great experience with this company in general. Hope our review helps. On 1st DEC 2020 morning, we leave message through yelp asking for the Rodents treatment. Mike replied in 15 minutes with a quote, and he arranged same-day visit in the afternoon. We appreciated for Mike's super prompt help. Our technician is Abraham Rico, we have no issue to give him 5-star review because he is professional, polite, and patient.

He has lots of job to be done that day, but he is always patient listening our questions and replied one by one. When he was doing the inspection, he is very careful, and he is always try to avoid his ladder hit anything inside your house. Even after we told him "Please go ahead, we just have basic & cheap IKEA furniture, don't worry we won't blame you if you hit anything", he is still very cautious.

He inspected the roof, the attic, the crawl space, and put traps for us. Abraham found out we have 3 broken vents need to be replaced, and 2 needs to be patched. On 7th DEC 2020, I messaged Mike for the quote of the 5 vents. He didn't reply immediately but within an hour somebody in their office responded my request. The price is reasonable so I retained their service.

On 8th DEC 2020, Abraham did the second inspection and we caught a rat in our attic. Abraham did the inspection again, check all traps, and he fixed all the 5 vents for us. Well our vents are tricky due to the pipes there, but once again, Abraham is very patient----He will never rush to finish his job and go home. Instead, he spent lots of time replacing our vent and do the patch.

He stopped by around 3:30pm, and leave around 6pm. I respect both his professional knowledge and skills, as well as his patience of doing his work. He treat our house like his own house, and he checked all the vents are sealed before he leaved. We still have some trapping visits to be done in the coming weeks. But Abraham and Mike deserve a full-score review.

I am not sure why somebody is complaining that they didn't get the response in the former review, but our experience is, if you call/text their office line or use email, there are always somebody to reply your requests within 2 hours. At least they are always responding my messages. I believe our rodent issue will be solved by Citra, and if I have future needs I will call Mike and Abraham again. Their quote is not the lowest but competitive from those I received from yelp, but, most important thing is that their service worth every penny.

Citra saved us from the nightmare of bedbugs! Mike came out and did a consultation the day after I called and was able to do a heat treatment only a few days later. I also hired an independent canine inspector to confirm and all of the bugs were gone after just one heat treatment! We appreciated how understanding Mike was about our stressful situation.

He was very responsive through call and text and was very patient answering my million questions throughout the ordeal. I will definitely use Citra for any future pest control!

I highly recommend this company for your pest problems! I was dealing with ants and messaged the company through yelp! Mike got back to me within 20 mins! He answered all my questions and was very helpful! He even sent techs out the same day! Christian and Martin were the techs who came out and they were great! Christian was very knowledgeable and answered every question I had and explained things about ants and their habits that I didn't know!

They both did a great job while they were here and I am definitely going to use them for monthly maintenance! The pricing was great also! It cost way less then I thought it would be! Five stars for sure!

I used a different pest company before switching to Citra. I've been with Citra for over 6 months and I really see a difference in the results and professionalism. First, after a few treatments we haven't had any problems with the bugs that we had in the past. Secondly, they are very good at communicating via phone or texts. Mike is responsive and cares about his customers. They're excellent at scheduling, and listening to any area you want them to focus on. I can't say enough good things.

Excellent service! Mike from Citra Pest Control inspected our house and found more then the other 2 reports. I was very impressed with his attention to detail. He said he would send me out an inspection report the next day.

I was very pleased with my experience with Mike. I'd just returned home from a weekend in a hotel with Bed Bugs (I found two of them in the room, and I am covered in bites) and I was terrified that I'd brought some home with me.

Mike has been out to our house numerous times to help us with our roof rat problem. He always provides excellent service and since the issue is ongoing, is actively trying to determine new and innovative ways to catch our rats.
