6/28/2022 Our air conditioner stopped cooling mid day. Called Nick's Air and received a callback from technicians Ben and Karie. They arrived less than an hour after our original call, reviewed our situation, and replaced a faulty capacitor. Both technicians were extremely polite and professional. Total cost for service and capacitor - 493.50. Thank you Ben and Karie!

I came home from a trip from Tennessee, bringing family members with me to visit with us this week. We walked in the house and it's 90 degrees (inside). It's Monday at 3 PM, and there is no way I will possibly get anyone out to my home by Tuesday, and the same day is out of the question. However I called Nick's Air Services. The lady who answered the phone acted with a sense of urgency, like it was her home without air.

About an hour later, Easton (the technician), called me and said he would be out no matter how late, he would make it a priority. He got there around 9 PM, and the air was fixed by 9:30 PM. Easton was happy doing his job and engaged my entire family. Their quick and caring action saved me from a disaster of a week with guests. I spoke to the owner Nick today, and it sounds like he hires joyful and professional individuals like himself. If we want to build the business infrastructure of America, Nick's Air Services is a model. I will never use anyone else.

Nicks sent a technician (Ricky) out to my house on a Sunday (Father's Day). No weekend upcharge. Arrived within two hours of my call. Technician was highly competent. Diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes (and it was not that simple). Had parts on hand and was in and out in 20 minutes. System working again great. Service was performed for a very fair price. Didn't engage in pushy sales tactics (wanting to replace entire system). Technician was also dog friendly. Would highly recommend using Nicks and will use them from here on out.

Nick was very responsive, he understood the urgency, sent a tech within few hours and was able fix my air conditioner issue by cleaning up condenser & saved hundreds of dollars for me whereas other company gave estimate to replace condenser unit. Service: A/C system repair

My air-conditioning unit failed after hours on a Friday evening. (It was over 100° outside) Everyone else was closed! Nick's Air Services was responsive and able to replace my air unit for me first thing Saturday morning! Nick's air services are very reasonable in their rates, the service was prompt and they had extremely professional installers. I will definitely recommend this company to my friends and neighbors.

It was too cold that day for him to check the Freon level. He said he would stop back out when the weather was warmer. I didn't have to remind him, 2 days later he called and came out immediately. Service call and PM was very reasonably priced but I thought the Freon charge was a bit high.

We haven't actually used this company. They just came out to tell us what's wrong with our AC. BUT! Chris was super professional, explained it all to us and didn't pressure us into anything. We will use them when we need to!

Had an AC breakdown during hot summer. Nick sent his crew to come on the same day to provide a diagnosis. He is knowledgeable, responsive and a good biz person.

Had a problem with the cooling of my HVAC and I contacted Nick's based on the glowing Yelp reviews. The call was handled by their answering service and the agent promised a call back for scheduling. Easton called back in under 10 minutes and scheduled to arrive within a couple of hours. He constantly stayed in contact as his previous appointment ran longer. Easton arrived and did a quick check, discussed the issue and pricing.

He started the work and was efficient in completing it. He was friendly and helpful thru the entire service. I will recommend Nick's for your service needs based on the prompt same day fix. Trustworthy and reliable for sure. The only reason for the 4 stars is the steep price of the R-22 freon. Understand the price surge since it's not manufactured anymore. While other companies charge considerably lower rates, Nick's may want to take a relook at their pricing.

Our AC stopped working at the worst time, it was sweltering hot. Within an hour of requesting an estimate someone came out to check what the issue was. They explained the problem and how to fix it. I appreciated how thorough they were and in less than 24 hours, I had a working AC again. Everything was handled in a timely fashion. The technicians that came out were also thorough and made sure everything worked and was understanding. I can not recommend Nick's Air Service enough!

I had a different AC company come out to service both AC units last September and they didn't check the drain line at all. Found out it was clogged when it began to flood in our attic We texted Nick's after reading good reviews, and they got their tech Easton out that day to fix it. We're super grateful he not only fixed our clogged AC drain and cleaned up the mess, he then checked our second drain to make sure it wasn't clogged as well. We'll definitely be calling only Nick's for check ups and repairs from now on!

Had my AC unit stop working, found these guys online and they had tons of great reviews and now I know why. Nick had his guy Rick call me immediately and he showed up at my house within a half hour. He was very nice and professional the entire time. He was able to diagnose that I had a bad capacitor on my unit very quickly and he replaced it. Inside 1 hour from when I called them my AC was up and running again and I avoided having to sleep in a crazy hot house again. Absolutely fantastic service and great people! They've earned my business for sure! I've used several different AC services in the past and these guys are top notch!

Yesterday one of our AC units started blowing warm air and the outside unit wouldn't come on. I called NIck's last night and, since it wasn't an emergency, I asked if they could come out this morning. They said they'd call at 9:00am. At 9:06am I got a call from them telling me he was on his way - already a positive experience. He got here, looked at the unit and had it fixed within 5 minutes. Fantastic!

The only (minor) issue I had is that he looked at it, fixed it, and then came to the door telling me how much it cost and gave me a bill. He really should've diagnosed the problem, told me how much it would be and then asked if I was OK with him fixing it instead of him just going ahead and performing the fix and then telling me how much I had to pay.

I was going to need it fixed so it's not a huge deal but that was an odd experience. Otherwise, it was great and I'll be using Nick's again. Getting it fixed that quickly was great.

My last few HVAC service calls with other companies have been a fail. In fact, the last service call I had with a local (unnamed) HVAC company wanted to sell me a new outdoor AC unit for $16K. It's hard to find vendors that are completely transparent and put the customers before profits. Easton was the technician who came out from Nick's Air and was able to diagnose, fix, and test my downstairs unit within 30 minutes.

He also explained exactly what he was doing and hosed down my units to make sure the job exceeded expectations. Easton was also very complimentary of the owner of the company (Nick) who apparently is not only good to his customers but also to his employees. I HIGHLY recommend Nick's Air Services since I can clearly see how Nick runs a tight ship with well-trained and knowledgeable professionals who really do put the customer first.

I've been calling the same AC company (I won't mention them in this post) for the past 2-3 years about issues I've been having with our Carrier Infinity system. The service has been fine, but I felt that the issues were never quite addressed. The techs that the other company sent down seemed to lack confidence in working with our AC and I could never get a definitive answer as to why our system wasn't working well. Nick's Air service answered my call right away and our system was diagnosed and fixed in under half an hour (on Easter weekend too). The condenser is on and the vents are blowing cold air - thanks Nick and Rick for your excellent service!

Did a great job. Did maintenance on my units. Cleaned out the pipe on one of the units. The other will require a plumber. Gave great suggestions on how to keep my older unit running in top condition.

My condensation pump was not working properly and led to a leak in my ceiling. I had originally called a different AC repair company to fix it. They claimed to have "fixed" my issue, but said I needed to spend over $350 on a new part in the next month. On top of that, the next morning it was clear it wasn't handled properly when my ceiling continued to drip.

I did some more research and found Nick online and gave him a call. He was incredibly kind, patient, and gave me an honest opinion on what the issue could be. He prioritized my call and had someone out to my home within the hour. The tech, Easton, was very knowledgeable and explained the issue, how he was fixing it, and what to look for to ensure this didn't happen again.

After he was done, he told me that my system looked great and there was no reason to spend any money on new parts. This service was fantastic and I greatly appreciate the honesty and attention to detail. I will definitely be a repeat customer, thank you Nick and Easton!

Nicks Air Service is by far one of the best AC/Heat service companies I have ever used. Within 5 minutes of talking to Nick the owner on a Saturday, I received a call from his top AC service Technician. He arrived in 40 within minutes of the call for service. and in approximately fifteen minutes of assessing the system the problem was identified and fixed.

He explained all details in plain English and made sure we understood everything. The Technician was an obvious expert, very personable, with amazing customer service. I will go nowhere else for my AC/Heat maintenance or repairs. Make sure and ask for Easton who is the AC tech. I will not trust anyone now with my system except Nicks Air Service. A job well done Easton and Nicks Air Service. I'm going to tell everyone I know. Blessings!

Chris came out as our AC seemed to be making some louder then usual noise when we turned it on this year. He not only told me that there was not a thing wrong with the unit he showed me a few other steps I can do myself that not knowing I would have to pay someone $$ to come out to do. Honest and fairly priced. Give them a call if in need. Very responsive.

I reported an issue with Evaporation coil for my house in Carrollton. Nicks air Service replaced the coil and provided prompt service. The issue was resolved within 24 hours. Thanks NAS!

I am extremely frustrated with these people. I called them to get routine maintenance on my AC, and I addressed a concern I had with my blower motor. I wish I hadn't mentioned it, bc the tech immediately went outside to clean the unit outside, and all of a sudden I had low pressure in the Freon lines, he didn't even take any of the panels off to clean the outside coil. What's crazy is the day before and all summer long my wife was freezing me out, and now all of a sudden I need to replace my entire air handler.

He first quoted me $3500, then he called me back and said it would be $3600. Needless to say, I did not call him back or even asked them to do any more work, he didn't even do what I had originally called them for. He also told me that it would cost me $800 just to charge my system back up, and that it would cost me the same amount of money to fix the blower fan and charge my AC system. BEWARE.

My AC recently died in my townhouse and given the extremely hot and humid temperatures we are experiencing in Dallas, I needed to get it fixed immediately. I called Nicks Air Services and they got back to us right away, and had guys out to my townhouse to assess the situation the next business day (keep in mind all of this was happening over Labor Day weekend, which to my astonishment, Nicks Air Services was extremely timely in response).

After they assessed the situation at hand, they had guys over the very next day to install new AC units, which is amazing. From time of calling to installation of new AC units is under a week (fantastic). Jeff from Nicks Air Services, as well as his whole installment team, have truly been life-savers. I cannot recommend him and this company enough - very professional and great, hard-working guys. I would definitely recommend to anyone in need of any AC unit work.

I have used this Heating and AC Service company for a few years now. About a couple of weeks ago my AC stopped working. Even though one of their employees messed up the order and changed me more, Nick waived that additional cost for me. The next day his team installed the parts needed for proper functioning of the AC in a timely manner. Highly recommend this business.

I was in a desperate place where our AC went out on a hot and humid holiday weekend and the company we were using couldn't make it out for a week. Nick went above and beyond and even though we were 100's of miles away, he diagnosed and helped me fix my AC unit over FaceTime! I've never had a company go above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of like he did!

Truly, Nick's goal is to give you good service and not sell you anything. Their technician was on-time, professional, and provided the information for our equipment like he saw it. I'm glad to have found an A/C service company in North Texas that is not trying to find something wrong so they can sell you more while they have you on the hook. Thanks guys!

Update: Nick and his technicians have been very helpful and responsive. Unfortunately, when the unit was first installed, the drain stopped up and caused a fault. When the installer came back out, he got the unit working but didn't explain to me that there might be more plumbing issues involved and that it could happen again. Nick has been very helpful in trying to get the situation fixed.

This also exposed a bad breaker in my box. Neither problem is, strictly speaking, and HVAC issue, but Nick likes going above and beyond. Hence why I'm changing my review. I'm not giving 5 stars is for three reasons: 1. The installer did not adequately explain that this could be a recurring plumbing issue and that they could help, but it may require a plumber to fix (it's happened twice in three months) 2.

The unit works and is efficient, but cools a little slowly That being said, Nick and his team is working diligently to do as much as they can. If we get the drainage issue resolved and this unit stays reliable, I'll revisit this review again in 6 months to a year. A unit like this should be a 10-20 year investment. Hopefully, it'll turn out to be some hiccups at the beginning and then smooth sailing from here on out.

I called Nick's air services in the late evening with an emergency and Nick himself picked up the phone and said he would have Rick his air technician be out to my home in 13 minutes! They resolved my problem within 15 minutes and the price was extremely fair for where I live. This company is extremely honest and very professional, you earn my business on the first time call. Fantastic service! Would highly recommend with responsiveness and knowledge. Called on Sunday at 7 am and was back with cold air by 9 am. I did call a TV ad service but their fix it fast means they could see me two days later. Looked on Yelp and saw good things about Nick, called him up and was put on that day, second on list. Ricky even called earlier than I was expecting and got out here in 20 minutes.

Found it was a bad capacitor, got a new one installed and good to go. I've owned a lot of homes and have all repair work done on them but hands down Nick's was the most prompt. Highly recommend! Thanks!

These guys came out within 30min of my call on a Sunday to work on my AC that is getting old and in need of more and more repairs. I got solid advice from Rick on what to do for my system in the future and my AC is working now for less than I expected. I am very glad I called them!

Our A/C stopped working in the middle of the night on the weekend. Nick sent someone out on a Sunday (no extra charge for the weekend which I thought was really fair) The problem was remedies quickly and we were warned to clean our outside condensers before more problems arose. We completed outside renovations and our systems were full of debris. We had no idea!

We agreed to take care of the next week but of course I couldn't sleep for the worry! I called the next day and Nick sent someone out right away. Great service and fair prices. I don't even know where to begin with praise for Nick's Air Services! Responsive, Punctual, Professional, Experts in their field. I've (unfortunately) had the need for HVAC services a few times in the past 2 years - beginning with an entire new system just over a year ago, to a fried thermostat due to a recent storm. Nick's team fixed ALL our issues SAME DAY! Chris oversaw the installation of the new system.

Everything went very smoothly. Josh came out yesterday afternoon to replace the thermostat. His knowledge of my system was impressive. Late July in Texas is the worst time for an AC unit to quit working. A neighbor referred us to Josh at Nick's. He actually answered the phone when we called. Every other place we called had us on hold until we finally hung up. Josh was here in less than an hour, found the problem immediately, fixed the unit, and was ready to leave in less than an hour. More importantly, we have a cool house again. I highly recommend Josh & Nick's for their professionalism, courteousness, and quality!

Customer for life after coming to repair our AC units after ALL of them failed bc of an electrical error. Nick called me back within 30 minutes and had John (his technician) here within an hour. John worked efficiently and quickly to repair the issue. We are now cool and comfortable! Highly recommend for their quick response time and great customer service.

New house, new to the area, one year later need to replace the air conditioner. Nick's could not have been more prompt and responsive to come out and write a very competitive estimate. One week later, full AC and furnace install in the attic in one afternoon. Got it and got out, left behind zero dirt or debris, and barely knew there were here most of the time. This is the same review I put on Yelp. Awesome. I called on a Sunday at 5:30, and was surprised they answered. Then they came out the next day, which was Memorial Day. Then Rick fixed my AC, which someone else had told me had a busted compressor. I also asked for a quote for a new system, seeing as the other guys gave me one that seemed pretty high, and the quote they gave me was a decent bit lower. So yeah, these guys are good.

Second time that Nick has helped us with AC problems. Fast response both times, excellent! He sent Aaron out today, and he was great! Very knowledgeable and personable. He explained everything I needed to know and took care of our AC problem. Our experience in dealing with Nick's Air Services has been very good. Reasonable prices, honest, straightforward, great people, everyone we have dealt with has been efficient and courteous. I highly recommend Nicks for any Air Services you may need. Back in May our AC was starting to have issues so we called Nick's and got an immediate response. Instead of using high pressure sales techniques, he walked us through some solutions that would get our AC running again, through his help we got our AC running without needing a visit. A few months later our 20+ year old unit finally quit on us and because of his genuine service a few months prior we chose to have Nick's Air replace our unit.

They were able to schedule us and have the unit completely replaced within two days. Now we have super cold AC in the hottest days of summer. Thanks again for the great service!

I used Nick's air for the first time yesterday and was very pleased not only with their ability to repair my furnace but with their customer service. I called them at about noon and Nick sent out one of his technicians, Jeremy later in the afternoon to diagnose my problem. Jeremy was very nice, investigated my issue, and even captured a short video to show me exactly what was happening with my furnace.

He was able to fix it quickly and for a reasonable price. I will be using Nick's air in the future and they really do deserve their high rating here on google as well as on Yelp.

Spent the entire day installing a new HVAC system, new Thermostat, gas furnace, Evap-Coil, return and supply Pentiums. Worked all day installing and making sure everything worked correctly before leaving. They do great work, are fair, and I TRUST them. You can too!

I've called them 0530 in the morning during a major winter storm. They answered the call, and went beyond. First they will have a technician coming in a couple of hours. But they also called me back a few minutes later and guided me on some actions I could take that might fix the heating issue. They were 100% right. It was an easy fix I've accomplished with their help over the phone.

No charge and system is back heating our home. That's an excellent level of service. Impressive. That's shows a lot about a company. Glad i found them and recommend. That's experience and integrity. Well done Nick

Once again, Nick's Air Services delivers. I've been using their services a few years now and finally my 14 year old unit went tits up. There was a little back and forth on getting the pricing right and I'd prefer a little more feedback as to what exactly you're getting when your buying a new system, but all concerns were addressed and I feel the owner really cares about his customers.

I went with a new heat pump / ac (because I was dumb and bought a house without gas). But either way, the installation was professional and fast, and they fixed some issues that the last installers left behind (not enough return surface area, and more importantly, THE PREVIOUS INSTALLERS DIDNT RUN THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF POWER TO THE UNIT causing the heat strips in the old unit to be under powered and eat my electricity like candy during the winter).

They ran a new additional return for me and another breaker to properly power the new unit. They also ran all new suction and that other small line for me. Overall it was a stressful experience as this is my biggest purchase so far living in a house, but I feel like the pricing was reasonable and the expertise and attention to detail that was given is why Nick's Air Services is the best.

Not impressed. When we asked them to look at our HVAC for servicing, they said there was a charge for the visit to figure out what was wrong. After their visit, we learned that they had completed a laundry list of tasks that we never approved, and charged us nearly $500 for everything. When we asked them about their lack of transparency before completing their self prescribed list, nevermind our budget or actual original maintenance requests, the owner responded by sarcastically telling us he would take the freon back and we could find someone else.

We also had a helluva time getting a receipt from them. It was some weird garbled file that we had to figure out how to convert. Yeah they seemed pretty snarky about that request for a legible receipt document too. Felt like we got scammed. Would NOT recommend. @Owner response about him suggesting I should call him to get "every penny of my money back" (a response now since deleted): Maybe because reviews can't be paid to be removed and is discouraged by the FTC. @Owner response (2nd version): Lol wow.

Owner now publishing false and baseless accusations, bringing politics in where there was none in our review, accusing us of being "competitors" when we have customer documentation (Yelp admins, you're welcome to this upon request), and seemingly ignorant of the concept of "moving" or "owners of multiple homes." Unbelievable. It would seem this owner takes an extra-aggressive, stalkerish, total-denial approach to honest, negative reviews of his business. Buyer beware, owner is now threatening to sue us for leaving a negative review.

I don't write reviews very often, but with Nick's air I got to because they will get to the bottom of everything to solve your problems with your system and explain to you why, also offers services (even free diagnostic I can't believe it!)

Nick, your business approach is one that is sorely missed in today's age. You see the bigger picture of how it all works. Businesses like yours are what made America great. I wish we had more business minded people like you to restore faith in our countries economy.

Nick was nice and responsive, Dragan went the extra mile with questions and any concerns. Dragan is definitely an asset to the company. The most important asset for a company is customer service and these guys are spot on.

I was so impressed by Nick. Our AC unit kept cutting off and our repair man whom we had used literally for years, told us it would be at least a week and a half to come out! We are in the Dallas area and summer is hot as we all know.

Our AC unit failed in July. AHS warranty repair rep came out recommended replacement. Sent out Sales rep to upsell us andgave us very High estimate. It's July and Hot we almost signed. Fortunately did search found great reviews for Nick.

I have been in HVAC for over two decades I take every call that comes in I handle every deal that comes in and that is why my google reviews in Plano tx are all 5 star and yelp is 5 star because I'm not driven by money I'm driven by customer service the money will always be there if you do your job right and take care of the customer!
