Life savers! After not hearing back from another company, Fire and Water Damage Recovery came in and helped out. Quick response and extremely helpful. I was beyond happy with their professionalism and would recommend them to everyone. We had water damage in our walls that needed to be dry. The company came in, quickly assessed the damage and started to work. They recognize the severity of the situation and worked quickly. Along with providing us photos of all the work they did.

The toilet in our second floor bathroom overflowed and caused a minor flood. I was concerned about water damage and so I contacted Fire and Water Damage Recovery to assess the situation and implement measures to prevent further water damage. Javier was the project manager in charge. Javier is very knowledgeable, reliable, and responsive. He is the consummate professional.

The lead technicians that did the work were Jose and Edwin. They were also very professional, courteous, and timely. The work was done quite quickly and I am glad that I reached out to them. I highly recommend their services!

Going through a house fire is terrible, and having a mitigation company who is unresponsive is even worse. That was my experience with the first company I hired. I asked for more bids and finally landed on Fire and Water Damage Recovery. The difference is night and day. Justin the project manager is always available and very thorough in his work. I'm able to relax as much as I can while they go through their fire and water mitigation process. They have been incredible to work with and responsiveness has been top notch. I would give this company more than 5 stars if I could! Discovering a burst hot water pipe in an interior wall was very stressful. After getting an emergency plumber to repair the pipe, I researched and then met with a couple of water restoration companies. It was no contest to choose Fire & Water Damage Recovery and I'm so happy I did. Orlando, my project manager was great from start to finish.

He explained everything and provided a detailed estimate which he sent to my insurance company after work was completed. His team came out the next day and their work during the entire process of moisture/mold remediation was extremely thorough. Jose and Armando were of tremendous help in mitigating the damage caused by water intrusion, due to the failure of the feed line to a toilet reservoir. I am told this is a very rare occurrence, particularly where the fracture occurred within the body of the threaded PVC connector to the tank. Jose was particularly informative and patient in explaining his work and was quite effective in limiting and marking out the subsequent extent of damage.

He was patient in his explanations and took precautions in his work, such as the small expedient of wearing disposable booties in my home. The quick operation of a dehimudifier also saved a portion of my drywall from being cut and the corresponding mobilization of an asbestos abatement company!

Justin and Wilbur were absolute gems to work with. They are experts in the field and will give you an honest opinion. We totally lucked out in finding them through the SFAA when we needed them the most. Justin has a calming presence and doesn't act pushy in any way. Wilbur is also super efficient and gets the job done. He does what he promises to do!

We couldn't have asked for a better team. When you are experiencing one of the most highly stressful events, this is who you should call! You will feel an immediate sense of trust that they are acting in the best interest of the property. There are no games or pushy tactics. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend! Remediation was done very quickly by the team of Orlando and Edwin! Very courteous and timely. I would have wished FWR to perform the recovery but they only removed and resolved the water damage. That may be an insurance thing. I don't know.

We had a mold issue in the master bathroom that was not going away and had started to spread. Javier called back within 24 hours of contacting Fire and Water Damage and came by to do an inspection within 2 days. He was very professional, masked, gloved and shoe covers the entire time. After inspection, he sent me a rough quote the next day and suggested air quality testing before beginning as he suspected airborne spores. Luckily the test came back negative.

Once we got the test results, Javier immediately came out to remove the mold-infested section and treat the bathroom and all affected areas. The areas he worked on were completely taped off and sealed to prevent any contamination to the rest of the house. He even identified the source as being a leak from the apartment upstairs and put in protective temporary covers on the exposed areas while the owner fixed their leak. And, for the finale, the final bill was lesser than the estimate, which was significantly lower than other companies, to begin with. Overall, super satisfactory exemplary work. I cannot think of a single bad thing to say. I hope I don't need their services, but if I do, I will call them in a heartbeat.

To keep it short, this company is excellent. We had a flood in our downstairs apartment during the November huge 24 hour rain. They were quick to reply & respond. Their crew was punctual, nice and hard working. This is a well-run and dependable company. We have our rebuilding team in now after a short time because of this company's completed work. Can't say enough good things about the folks at Fire & Water Damage Recovery. This is an extremely stressful time dealing with a rebuild, mold/moisture and the list goes on. I got two quotes from Damage Recovery folks and Fire & Water clearly stood out. Mike & Justin took tedious notes, provided a quote and even dealt with the insurance folks (I don't wish that on anyone).

Most importantly, they over-delivered, Omar & Onofre worked extremely hard at getting all the moisture, mold and all the hundreds of things that goes into their work. I was really impressed with their diligence and kindness. The team also coordinated really well with Environmental Remedies Inc. and SAFE for Testing - they all moved in unison and wasted no time. I hope I don't have to deal with this in the future, but if I do, I'll definitely be calling them!

A water pipe broke inside a wall, and we didn't know until the carpet in a lesser-used bedroom was found soaked through. After the plumber took care of the emergency problem, we now needed to face the emergent problem: how to deal with the water damage. We had a water leak and were dreading the recovery work. We were lucky to find Fire and Water Damage Recovery. They were prompt, they did excellent work. Plus, they left the entire site cleaner than they found it. In addition, working with this crew was a pleasure. They were friendly and professional. They knew what they were doing and were very efficient. Jerry especially helped us organize the work and got it started very quickly. (This was really appreciated when you're dealing with a water leak!) I give this company five stars and my highest recommendation.

A raccoon got locked in my garage them tried to get out. In the hours of his many attempts he did some very serious damage. Edwin and Brenda spent 2 full days making sure there was no bio waste. There were so nice and did a professional and very thorough job. I highly recommend.

A few years ago we had a water leak under our kitchen sink that needed to be remediated. I called a bunch of different remediation vendors and chose Mike because he seemed to be the most knowledgeable and responsive. I was not disappointed. Mike was amazing at both remediating the issue, managing the process, and keeping me informed along the way.

Since then, we've had a few other water damage issues crop up that I've needed a professional opinion on. Whenever I have these issues, I always call/text Mike. He's super responsive and helpful. He goes above and beyond just a normal "vendor" because i truly believe he cares about helping people. I would strongly recommend Mike for any water damage remediation you need.

We first called and spoke with the Supervisor, Mike Walker, and he came out to our house, suited up, went under our house, and gave us an estimate the same day. From the start, we knew we were in good hands. Chrissa is the office manager, and she kept us well-informed throughout the whole process.

The next day FWDR sent out their hard working Technicians, Santos and Brenda. It was hot weather both days, but these Technicians did an awesome job cleaning, scraping, and removing all of the wet waste under our home. Always informative during their process. Geez, I gotta add that we were really in a bad place with our water and sewage pipes breaking beneath our house, but like I wrote; "We were in good hands." Justin and his crew handled water damage repair for me after my whole downstairs apartment was flooded due to roots in the sewer. It was major and required a new lateral sewage system be installed. Justin was responsive, answered my questions thoroughly, and took out the ruined rug, flooring, drywall and furnishings. I trusted him to take good care of my property and to address any of my concerns. They did a great job!

We had a flooding issue from a bathtub into a bedroom on the 2nd floor that not only soaked into the carpet and floor but into the downstairs dining room and garage. Highly recommend Fire and Water Damage Recovery who responded quickly and efficiently. Orlando picked up the phone on a weeknight as soon as I called (they do have 24 hour service but my need was not urgent) and Mike came out to my house first thing the next morning and set up some equipment.

Then Jose and Bismark came later that afternoon to do additional work in the garage and set up more fans and humidifiers. Very reasonably priced and great communication with Mike who gave the initial estimate and then supervised the project to ensure the area was dried out completely before removing the equipment. Great service and staff were very nice and accommodating. Would definitely hire again if ever a need.

Water Damage recovery help us fix an unexpected water issue that affected a wall. They came over the same day we called and provided a detailed breakdown of how best to remedy the issue and provided a detailed estimate the next day. They were the only company who truly knew how to address the issue and suggest additional solutions that no other company even thought of.

We also agreed on a start date and time. On the day the work was to begin they showed up on time, prepped, protected all furniture and appliances and completed the work over the course of the next several days. They always left the job site clean and orderly and were respectful of our home in every way. The owner went out of his way to communicate clearly and provided help and assistance on another small matter outside the scope of work at no extra charge. The results were fantastic and we could not have been more pleased. The work was top notch and the price was fair. We highly recommend them!

After a fried recommended them, I called them the day after a fire hydrant accident flooded our utility room and under our garage on a steep down slope lot. Their team was prompt and their attention to detail saved our house from future serious future problems. They came out almost immediately and evaluated the issues and had a team removing the wet areas the following day.

They were very meticulous in finding all the wet areas even in very hard to get to crawl spaces and light fixtures. I could not have been happier with their work and how the team made it extremely easy from the evaluation, to working with insurance company to completely drying our flooded areas. Let me just start with how professional, communicative, and courteous the folks at Fire and Water are, particularly Justin Walker. My house was impacted by a major storm in San Francisco resulting in major flooding of over 50% of my home. Justin came out to quickly assess the situation and returned with his team to complete the job. I was amazed to see how clean of a job they did with remediating the house and removing what needed to be removed, while also sharing concerns to address with my General Contractor. These guys are top notch and I highly recommend Justin Walker and the team again at Fire and Water.

Responsive, professional, and thorough! Had them in to clean up after rodents dug into garage and they were able to come out quickly for an estimate (final invoice was less than estimate!). Their crew arrived on time, was professional and thorough, and I am very pleased with the results of a nice clean garage. Sorry I didn't take before and after photos. Hope I never need to use them again, but would if needed.

Incredible! How do you get over 250 FIVE STAR reviews? How do you do it FIRE AND WATER DAMAGE RECOVERY? I'll tell you. Read this important review. Back in late September the "Glass Wild Fire" ripped through Napa and Sonoma Counties. Thousands were evacuated. Many homes in my neighborhood burned. My home was not destroyed but did sustain severe smoke damage. Ash/soot entered every crevice of my home - especially my attic. Soot particles are microscopic and not visible to the human eye.

But they are extremely dangerous to your health. Toxic soot particles from metals, materials and chemicals burned in nearby homes must be professionally cleaned. Do a Google search to learn about the hidden dangers of toxic soot. I've spoken to dozens and dozens of neighbors who have the same smoke damage. Every neighbor has horror stories of poor companies they hired to clean up the smoke damage.

I researched these companies by name and they have terrible YELP reviews to match their poor service. After exhaustive research I found FIRE AND WATER DAMAGE RECOVERY. I called them and they are just amazing. 1) I set up my first consultation with Chrissa by phone. After our call, she answered many, many email questions I had prior to coming to my home.

She always replied quickly with detailed information. 2) Orlando and Javier came to my home. They arrived right on time with nice clean trucks. They drive separately for covid safety. They had masks, shoe coverings and clean clothes with company logos. They used high tech equipment to analyze my home as I observed for 2 hours. I asked many many questions and they knew all the answers from years of experience.

I was very uncomfortable with strangers in my house but when they finished I was very impressed. Orlando, is the Project Manager and provided me with a comprehensive report a week earlier than promised. You Rock Orlando! In summary. **Extremely Professional** I'm currently working with them in coordination with my insurance company to begin the professional cleaning. Now I know (and you know) how they earn such excellent YELP reviews.

Had a sewage spill on my rental property that needed proper cleanup. WDR was easy to reach, reasonably priced, and quick to schedule. They were very quiet and didn't disturb my tenant. Looks like nothing was ever there. Would gladly hire them again if need be.

Overall they did NOT do what they were paid to do. 1) They were paid $25,000 to document and remove the contents and on numerous occasions they opened a drawer and took one picture, or they missed an area entirely. I would say about 30% of the contents were documented in this way. Their job was to document everything so we could file a comprehensive claim.

I personally spent over 150 hours working on the contents inventory to make up for their shortcomings. 2) They were paid an additional $5,691.95 to clean some of the contents that could be salvaged. Numerous items, we can only document 14 of them, are missing from the cleaned contents totaling a value of over $7,000. WDR's response was oh we made a mistake and disposed of those items and you will be reimbursed by the insurance company for their value (of course depreciated) so no harm was done.

Of course there is harm! These items had not only material but sentimental value! We lost everything in my parents home of 50+ years and they just threw the recoverable things away. Very Very unprofessional. 3) In the boxes of items that were cleaned and returned we have found items that were never ours, how many people have they switched or lost items on? 4) When we questioned the missing items Maria from WDR said if you don't pay your final bill we will lien your property, before we even had a chance to try to resolve the problem.

Ultimately they disposed of our recoverable possessions. Very quick to file a lien but not quick to try to recover our property. UPDATE: After Maria's response: As you can see by her response, she would rather say I am unreasonable then to address the errors that her company made. I was the person to bring up the problem on behalf of my 89 year old mother (Maria did not even know who was her client) because I am the MOST reasonable. Either way we are dissatisfied with their service and only paid their final bill because we were entering escrow on the home and could not risk a lien put on the property.

The workers did a good job. I had an issue with insurance but the CEO took the matter on personally and assisted me while she was out of town. I would recommend them but be sure to talk to your insurance adjuster first to figure out what needs to be done between the two for your claim to be approved.

Sunday I woke up to a flooded laundry room and hallway. I called my HOA who called out the HOA's preferred plumber. The plumber came by and told me that I needed to get a water damage recovery company and referred Fire and Water Damage Recovery. I spoke with the dispatch and sent out Oscar in less than an hour. Oscar quickly assessed the situation, let me know that his project manager Christian would be sending me a quote.

I received the quote within minutes and signed off on it. Oscar checked the moisture levels, ripped out the carpet and carpet pad, cleaned up all the water, set-up a fan and humidifier, let me know that moisture got underneath the vinyl, and someone would be out on Monday. Oscar did an amazing job and did everything in about 2 hours. Monday morning, Angel Cruz and Omar Hernandez came out to finish the job.

They moved the washer and dryer, ripped out the vinyl, baseboards and particle board. They showed me how much moisture was in the laundry room and it was pretty bad. Angel and Omar were very efficient. I appreciate Angel's transparency when he told me everything that he was doing. Angel and Omar did an amazing and thorough job. Angel and Omar came back on Tuesday to monitor the laundry room and let me know everything was completely dry. If I could give 10 stars I would! This company and their employees are amazing. I recommend them to anyone who has water damage and needs someone to come out ASAP!

We had water damage in our house from a faulty pipe in the upstairs guest bathroom. My husband walked into an indoor waterfall and our dogs were soaked and freaked out. We didn't know who to contact, our insurance directed us to a water damage company. My husband called WDR and the crew came over in damn near 30min and got started on saving our house and belongings.

I have never seen a team work so quickly and diligently! The damage took place July 1, 2019; we moved back into our house June 15, 2020. Mr. Roy R. is an incredible project mgr (not sure if that is his correct tittle), he called in extra help as it was after hours and quickly delegated work to each group. He worked with my husband to clear thighs for us so we can grab whatever belongings we can so we can go settle into a hotel worry-free. Roy made himself avail to us 24/7 via text/email; his prompt responses made my life so much easier.

When the 49ers went to the Superbowl, Roy dug through our contents in the storage so I can wear my Jimmy G. jersey.you're a ROCKSTAR for doing that for me.thank you Roy Now to the packing and storage of our contents. Man! This team can pack! None of our contents were damaged, everything was packed gently and securely. My house was a mess because we had taken things out to donate but we never got the chance to go through things, let alone pack them away. WDR came in and packed everything, labeled them so we can easily identify all the contents.

They even unpack and put things back in its place for you. I chose not to have them unpack for me so that I can sort through the things that goes to donation. But they placed all the boxes in its correct location.ie kitchen, laundry, bedroom, etc. I got the pleasure of meeting (vis email) Mr. Jerry C. because our lousy insurance adjuster was unresponsive and very difficult to work with. Jerry was very helpful and made his team available to us with just one ask.

This crew was phenomenal. Orlando and his team helped us through a very difficult remediation process due to a plumbing issue, water damage, and mold. We had no idea how bad things were but they guided us through and were very knowledgeable and thorough. They were very cautious and gentle with the removal of all our kitchen appliances, setting up the work space, prepping, clearing, and cleaning the space.

The team here saved the day. Cleaned up a sewage leak due to a corroded pipe under the house. They were on time, properly suited up and maintained social distance, cleaned up and had a lot of photos to show our insurance company. They answered emails and phone calls promptly and every question was answered. From the office team to the made it happen team at our house we are so happy. Everyone I dealt with was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. They contacted me within an hour after the line was repaired and completed the job within hours of that. John, the technician who came out, was polite and respectful of my property. When finished, he explained exactly what he had done and why.
