Can't say enough good things about this company! Had an issue with our a/c not working- they came fast and detected the issue right away. Our AC system went out late on Easter Sunday afternoon. I called Bruce, who answered right away and added us to the schedule for Monday morning. On Monday, Nick the tech, was on time. He did a good job of explaining and showing me the issues with our AC unit. We had a full new system installed the next day. The process was easy. Even Gary, the owner, stopped by to check on everything. Payless Cooling & Heating was timely, professional and easy to do business with. We highly recommend them.

Placed an emergency call to Payless on a Friday afternoon after a renovation mistake drained our refrigerant line. They had someone over within a few hours, fixed the hole, filled with coolant, and had us up and running with no problems. There was a short power outage in our area 8/9/21, & it knocked out our AC & the thermostat control panel. We called at 5:30 on a Sunday & our call was answered by a human! The gentlemen helped us reset everything at the outside unit & reset the thermostat panel all over the phone. So very grateful for his service.

I've used Payless for over 13 years, and as always they always answer and do whatever it takes take care of the customer. Our A/C went out, I called at 8:30 PM and they were there by 9:00 AM the next morning. There's not a lot of vendors that I have complete trust in, but Payless is certainly one of them. Use with confidence!

We have used Payless for many years now to both install and fix our air-conditioning. We have always been very happy with the high level of customer service that we have received. Most recently we had a wiring issue that they spent a wealth of time trying to correct. Instead of charging us an enormous amount of money to change out unnecessary parts that I would have never known weren't broken, they went the extra mile to find the right problem and fix it to save us the money.
They have definitely earned us as customers for life. It would be a mistake for anyone not to get them to bid on your future projects. This is a family business that definitely deserves our support.

I have been using Payless for several years now, the first time I called was after hours, they called right back and came out the next day. Been using them ever since and had them install a complete new ac/heat unit recently. Fair priced, great quality, friendly and courteous employees, always prompt, and very thorough. Of course the day before a weekend and a Holiday weekend at that we start to have an issue with our AC. Upon calling several other companies who were already closed for the weekend (at 1:00pm), we stumbled on this company listed under authorized TRAIN repair companies. Call was answered and advised us it would take about an hour or so for someone to arrive (no problem- we were advised up front they were out on other calls). Ryan arrived and only took about 10-15min for him to troubleshoot and find the issue.
After fixing the issue, he was very thorough with going over the details of what was done and also did an overall check of the system. Great service, fairly priced- hope to not need them soon but will keep their number handy!

I have had Payless Cooling & Heating do work for me for a number of years and their last job was just today. Making the appointment was a breeze and they accommodated me the time I needed. I had to push the appointment to a few hours after the initial one and they accommodated that too. Ryan came and did the work in a timely manner and boy does he know his business.
A couple of weeks ago I called Payless for another reason and spoke to Donnie who was not only easy to speak to, but totally willing to help and very very knowledge, He is certainly an asset to the company and a pleasure to speak with. I will hire Payless again.

Called Gary the 2nd time as our a/c was not blowing cold air. The first time he came and after explaining the situation he was able to pinpoint the problem and my a/c was up and running in no time. This 2nd time another a/c problem and again, he found the problem in a short time and got my a/c fixed. Gary is a very nice person and really knows his job. I highly recommend him as his work is very professional.

WOW! These guys are awesome. I had a problem with my ac unit and called the company out who installed the unit. They looked at it (didn't test a thing) and quoted me over $700 for a new condenser motor and capacitor. I called Payless C&H and they were quick to come out. Gary told me for a new motor and capacitor it would run roughly half of my original quote.

Payless is a company that stands by its work! As a result of losing our home in Hurricane Ike, my husband and I bought a home in El Lago in 12/08. Recently, we had problems with our AC unit not cooling our home. Since Payless had installed a new AC unit in 2006, we called them to check out the problem. They fixed the problem at no charge.

These guys were very quick to come out. They fixed the 1st problem and ac was working but shut down a day later. Turns out there was an underlying problem causing the trouble so they came out and fixed the 2nd problem at no charge within an hour of calling them. GREAT service and the prices were very reasonable. I'm very happy with Payless AC. Thanks!

EXCELLENT! I am extremely happy with Payless C&H. I read the reviews and decided to call them. Gary answered and was very polite and courteous. I explained what has transpired and he had a Service Tech at my house within 30 minutes. Service Techs, Steve and Jose, were awesome. Being a Mechanical Engineer, I had questions and they answered EVERY ONE OF THEM.
