Thank you to Mechanical Technologies and Don Mellado, my project manager, for your professionalism and that of your stellar HVAC technicians, Mr. Abel and Mr. Miguel. I really appreciate the whole process of the install and the Unit is running great! We could not be more pleased with the exceptional service and value. Very respectful of my time and good coordination.

The job site and coordination with the crane service at my home was excellent. All of the office staff was friendly and kind during phone conversations and were very helpful as well. Keep up the good work!

Technician that serviced my tankless water heater was knowledgeable. However, I believe I was way over charged for the services render. Technician performed a diagnostic check a week before the and indicated what was wrong, this took him about 30 minutes to determine the problem. The parts were then order and came in about a week later. They used my credit card information to order the parts which cost around $44.00 The tech returned when the parts came in and he installed them.

It took him about 15 minutes to install them and another 15 minutes to run hot water threw the system to make sure things were operating ok. This 30 minutes of work cost me 380.00 dollars of labor which is outrageous for such a minor problem. Be careful when using this company. With the diagnostic fee, parts, and 30 minutes of labor I paid $519.00 for installing a $44.00 dollar part.

Highly recommend this company. All specialty teams that worked on our home were highly skilled in their specific area of expertise and were very knowledgeable about their products. We are very happy with the results. Will be using MT for future needs. Glad we stopped by their booth at the El Paso Home Show.

They may have offered quality service once upon a time; however, that's not reality now. They left a copper condensation line dangling on the roof (and that's the visible part of their work). I called as soon as I noticed it after they'd left and was told they'd be back the following day. It was a simple fix that should've been included in their work for the high amount they charged. To date, , no one has bothered to show up or to even phone. In my opinion, poor workmanship and business practices lands them with zero credibility.

These installers SUCK! NO SHOW on the first day and didn't have the decency to call and let me know resulting in a missed day of work for no reason. Showed up 3 hours early on the rescheduled date so luckily I was home. What should have been a 4 hour job turned into six hours so here I am waiting on them the third day. They are an hour and a half late so far today so I will have ended up missing three day of work for a four job. GO ELSEWHERE! You don't want to deal with these guys, I promise.

This is the absolute worst contractor to deal with. They will not inform customer, dont show up as scheduled, disappear for over 90 minutes to get some fittings at a nearby home depot, rip holes in your walls, take your old unit with them without notice to the homeowner, and have an employee who says she is the installation manager say she is above the owner of the company when it comes to making decisions.

Do not believe a word they say. They will offer one thing and then do another. Thankfully I wont have to deal with them for warranty work since I had them take their unit out. I am sure dealing with them for warranty work is a nightmare. The one star rating had to be done in order to post review.they should be grateful to even get that.

This is a very professional company. I have used them for many years. (15+) They are never exaggerated in their prices. They are also not the cheapest (but you get what you pay for) I have had them give me the cheapest prices on some repair jobs with the professional service that comes. (they wont (push)/sell you a part for what they can repair). I have hired other companies in between, and I have wished I had hired Mechanical Technologies based on their work & professionalism. I am a true customer because of this. This is an Honest company that will give you good service. If you have a complaint they will follow up and help resolve the issue.

This company has been beyond amazing. We were having trouble with the AC at the home we had just moved into and when I called they had someone come out the next day and help us out. I then had someone come right back out a few days later to install Nest Thermostats and replace filters. Rudy was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. They offered a military discount and anytime you call their number you're greeted with a super friendly customer service representative who is always extremely helpful as well. We loved our experience with Mechanical Technologies and highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

We have been using MT for several years now and have always been very pleased with the great service they continue to provide us. We selected them for our rental properties and now used them for our personal home as well. Always on time, reliable, honest, thorough, patient and good quality work. I shopped around & got several estimates for refrigerated ac and non compared to Mechanical Technologies. They are very affordable they are knowledgeable and the presentation was very good. They are very clean and thorough and worked all day. Different crews came with different expertise. I used them and my brother recommended them to me and I'm glad I went with them. I highly recommend them to anyone needing A/C services They are truly experts at their job and do it well.

My thermostat went out during a heavy snow. They got here as fast as they could and ran a check to make sure the furnace was fine. They went out and found a thermostat and came back and got it installed. Made sure everything was good. Polite. Friendly. Professional. Excellent! Service: Heating system repair

The negative reviews on here amaze me! This company is great. Our swamp cooler broke, we called them at 10:30am to schedule a quote on having an AC conversion. They came out at 4:40pm the same day, gave us options to choose from and did the install the next day! They are NOT crooked, or dishonest. They are great and I highly recommend

Can I give a negative amount of stars? I was told I needed a new AC. $6500.00. We can finance you for $100.00 a month no interest. Great! Now a month later you owe 17.99% interest. I would have used a more reputable company.

From start to finish, awesome! Estimate, install, follow up communication, all outstanding! These folks really showed pride in their work and were totally professional. I would recommend Mechanical Technologies to anyone. The estimator was personable and knowledgeable, never pressured us to decide on a specific product or direction. Was a small misstep with installation but was rectified quickly and to our satisfaction.

The crews were fast professional and clean! Communication from the company regarding arrival times and follow up was amazing. Bravo! To all of you at Mechanical Technologies, you should be proud.

STOP! Get someone else. Do not hire this company. The manager/owner of this company is Jaime and I spoke to him on the phone. He has some really bad office staff that will forget you and waste your time. He will make NO ATTEMPT to correct any situation and he will not accept direct questions about his lack of service. He will not even attempt to find out what the issue is.

Instead he will deny everything and and tell you that he will not provide you service. I had two technicians come out to do my service, the lead tech told me I needed a part and he himself made the call to get the part. It was Friday and the tech said the part was available but I had to wait for Monday. I told him that it would be fine. On Monday after I called at noon I was told that the technicians were busy with other calls and they would have to schedule me in after two weeks. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

This business is a clear example of non professionalism and a crooked lazy owner. Even his own technicians openly complained about the office staff and their inability to manage calls correctly. There are plenty of other companies out there - DO NOT waste your time with this one.

Dishonest business practices and they do alot of patch work and charge diagnostic fees to keep patching up instead of replacing the unit. If there is something wrong expect days without cooling.

Recently had a new refrigerated air conditioner installed. I strongly recommend that you spend the extra money to have your unit installed by a recommended company for the brand name of your unit. One month after our unit was installed, an entire new unit had to be installed which they did do free of charge. 4 months after the installation, we had to hire a different company to come fix problems so that our entire house was cooled/heated correctly. It ended costing more than if we had hired a certified installer in the first place. I would not recommend this company

Because I have them doing my regular maintenance on the refrigerated ac heater unit they installed, I feel a real sense of comfort, knowing my system is being taken care of. Recently, they discovered a gas leak when they set my system up for the winter, and they fixed it.

Everyone from the owner and Diane to the installers and technicians were awesome to work with. They installed a combo unit for me, and I love the way my house feels now the whole year long. I wish every company had the spirit of excellence Mechanical Technologies does.

They really went out of their way from the very start to provide high quality service and support. Very knowledgeable about the paperwork and soforth. And I was very impressed with Mike. He took the time to show us how our system works and answered questions completely.

They just installed a brand new AC/Heat combo unit in my house. And this time of year it's a lifesaver. Still warm during the day and downright cold at night. I love my new system. No matter the conditions, it's always comfortable with just the touch of a button.

BEWARE OF LOOPHOLES IN WARRANTIES THEY OFFER! About less than a month a go, I called Mechanical Technologies because my refrigerated air was not working on a Saturday afternoon. Reason I called was because when I bought the house, they were the ones that had done the work. I figure it would be the most legit thing to do.wrong. When I called the company, I was told that the labor part warranty had already exceeded the one year, BUT the parts were still under a 5 year warranty.

Once I was told about the warranties, I still went with them.figuring all parts were covered, that would help in the wallet. When the technician guy showed up and figured out what was wrong, he told me that he didn't carry that part (fan) with him. He did say that he had the part in the warehouse but a $75 fee would be charged to open up the warehouse.

I agreed to pay figuring it would be done ASAP. Within the hour, the technician came back with the part and installed it in 15 min. Well, when he gave a bill of $400 plus, I asked if this was just labor? He replied, no its parts and labor. I was confused being that I was told that the parts were under warranty! I even asked, are you sure because your center told me the parts were under warranty.

He replied that he was not aware of what was under warranty. That Monday morning, I called the offices and was told by a lady "Darlene" that parts weren't under warranty. She explained that since the warehouse had to be opened and the part had to be pulled from the shelf it was not covered, because it was a special order. How can a part they have on the shelf, in their own warehouse be a special order?!

I then replied, why was I told that the parts were under warranty then?! She went on to say that she didn't know and that I should be glad that it got fixed that day and not a week later. EXCUSE ME?! Its not like I planned it.and furthermore I payed for the labor, it's not like they went to my house for free! Three weeks later, my air went out again.to my surprise it happened on a Saturday!

I should've have learned my lesson after the first time, but I went with the original installers. I explained to a lady, Diana, about being charged for parts the first time. I explained to her that I was told that ALL PARTS were under warranty and told her about my first encounter. Needless to say, she was very courteous and understanding. The technician showed up that day and solved the problem with my unit.

Since he had the part with him but was an electrical component, it was not covered under the warranty. I explained my first situation to him and to my surprised he was shocked that they charged me on a part that was under warranty. The way he explained to me was that anything inside the cage of the fan unit was cover under warranty.anything outside is considered electrical and doesn't fall under the warranty.

He was very courteous and an advised me he would take the information and relay it to higher people. Today, Diana called me and explained to me that the warranty had been voided because they had to get it from their warehouse; as opposed to taking my part out, sending it and getting a new one in return from the manufacture. I explained to her that it was not fair.

Nobody told me that my warranty went out the window because their warehouse was opened and a part was taken from the shelf (special order they called it). WHAT PART OF ALL PARTS HAVE WARRANTY FOR 5 YEARS DID I FORGET TO UNDERSTAND?! Apparently, you have to read the fine print.oh yeah, nobody told me about this! Like I explained to Diana, I could have gone with other companies or technicians and had gotten it less expensive, but since I was under the impression that it was under warranty I proceeded to go with them, the original installers. What a rip off this so called warranty! BEWARE OF THE SO CALLED WARRANTIES FROM THIS COMPANY.ASK QUESTIONS! HAVE THEM PUT IT IN WRITING!
