Elite Garage Door

Visit was fine until Jonathan left without making sure the garage door was reconnected. Called their dispatch immediately, they said Jonathan turned around and was coming back. An hour later, still no Jonathan and garage door non-functional. Manager was supposed to call, but no call. Their credit card unit doesn't work, so they want you to write check or use cash. Low-class outfit.

Cannot say enough good things about Elite and the service Frank and Rita provided. My door simply stopped working one morning, so I checked reviews and decided to give Elite a try. When I had the door PM'ed several years ago, another company's technician told me it was a heavy door and that I'd probably have opener motor problems in the future. When Frank and Rita arrived - on time - they sized things up and said the door weight and balance were fine.

He diagnosed the problem as a failed capacitor and I paid about $30 for a new one. They then did PM on both my doors, adding brackets and supports that should have been installed during original installation. Also installed a new outdoor keypad which was sorely needed. I don't often submit reviews but in this case Elite's work warrants high marks.

Frank arrived as scheduled and repaired my garage door at minimal cost. Provided maintenance and repair on second door also. Both doors are operating more quietly and efficiently now.

Initially met Frank via Angie's List because my garage door had gotten out of alignment and the photo eyes needed to be adjusted. I scheduled a total of three companies to provide repair estimates. One company did not show up, the second company showed up on time, but were not trustworthy recommending to replace parts like the rollers and spring that were not faulty.

When I called them on it, they countered by offering to cut $100 off the repair price, which is when I asked them to leave. So when Frank showed up to inspect the garage door, I was on guard and determined to not be taken advantage of. Frank was nothing like the previous company. He was knowledgeable and had no problem diagnosing the issues. Then he clearly explained the issues to me and answered all of my questions.

He quickly made the repairs and I was a happy customer because I felt like I got a fair price. So when my garage door started acting up again, Frank was the only person that I called. Just like before, Frank was great and provided a fair price to replace my 14-year old Overhead garage opener with a top-of-the-line Liftmaster. In my two experiences, Frank has demonstrated integrity and great customer service. When anyone asks me for a recommendation on who to call to get their garage door or opener repaired or a new one installed I will always recommend Frank.

I hit my garage door and called another service company, I was told I needed a new garage door ($1200) and possibly a motor ($500.) I was told not to use the door or it could fall and kill me. I contacted my insurance company, they were willing to pay. For a second opinion, I contacted Elite. Frank came out -- he arrived on time, calling 30 minutes before arriving.

He assessed the door and and said I needed a new, stronger hinge, a few springs readjusted and another adjustment --and all could be done within an hour and for half of my deductible. He said he could write up an assessment of the damage for the insurance company but he could not in good conscience recommend a new door, it wasn't warranted! It is rare to see such integrity.

My door looks beautiful -- and my faith in humanity has been restored! If only Frank had an air conditioning company and sold used cars, I really be set lol! Thank you Frank, Ida and team! Wonderful job, much appreciated!

Frank and Elite Garage Door Service are a great company to do business with. They recently replaced our garage door opener, installed new springs and made several adjustments. The door is working great now and we are very pleased with their workmanship and attention to detail. We highly recommend their company for future garage door work.

Excellent customer service, kept the appointment as arranged on a Saturday. And didn't differ on the price of the estimate given over the phone. Not the least expensive company, but you get what you pay for w garage door repairs.

Called late Friday afternoon and they had someone come out around noon on Saturday. Eric was a very professional and knowledgable technician who got my garage door operational in very reasonable time which was about 45 minutes. Prices were fair and I would recommend Elite Garage Door services for all your garage door needs.

Great service from these guys. Called between 8:30-9am and they were here exactly at 10am like they said. They said it would take 40 minutes or so, they were done in 38 minutes. These guys know their business. My Torsion spring popped, after researching I saw a trend of a lot of scams in this business for this area. I was going to do the repair myself to save the hassle of finding someone, but two co-workers suggested Elite after using them.

After researching the DIY kit with my spring, I called the company for a quote. Frank was very friendly and laid out how they operate to ensure they install exactly what is needed for your Garage door. After hearing their price parts and labor and comparing it to what I would pay to do it myself, it was a no brainer. These springs are dangerous and the service and pricing they give was a great value to have a pro tackle it.

I am pretty sure the guys also adjusted my motor to be just right as well. The door has never opened and closed as quietly and smooth as it does today (I am the original owner of the house). I doubt I would have gotten the torque as perfect on the spring. Seriously, great value these guys are giving between balancing parts and labor.

I, unfortunately, got caught up in a distrustful company that uses similar names of [local] companies all across the nation. They go by "Elite Garage Door Repair" and are out of Dallas but serviced me in Greensboro, NC. Frank from Elite Garage Door Service, Charlotte, NC, was kind enough to assist me in separating the two companies. His company does not service Greensboro, NC.

Please be careful when choosing a company for garage door repair! This company out of Dallas has a million websites and a million different ph #'s and a million different names (all similar to other good, local company's names). Make sure your company is Elite Garage Door Service, Charlotte, NC, Owner, Frank Arrigoni. He is honest and relies on his good reputation for repeat business and referrals!

The technician that serviced my garage door seemed to be very knowledgeable and had very up front answers to my questions and concerns. He was also professional and well mannered. I would highly recommend Elite Garage Door Service and when the time comes, will use them again.

We heard what sounded like a bomb going off in the garage. When we attempted to open the garage door, it was noticed that the spring had broken which caused the earlier noise. Our car was trapped in the garage. Being Saturday, it was thought we would have trouble trying to find a repairman. Called Elite and was told a repairman would be in Rock Hill to fix my door within the hour as he was coming from Charlotte. Was also informed the cost would not be any more than if they were doing a job in Charlotte.

A nice young man, Eric, arrived and went right to work and explained everything as he went along. Did not try to upsell anything. Merely provided information about parts replacements. He also pointed out my opener motor was installed at the wrong angle and corrected this without additional charge. I previously had only one spring on this double door and Eric installed two springs to help the door work more efficiently for just a minimal charge. Eric had my door working perfectly in less than an hour and informed me all repairs come with a 5 year warranty! I'm glad I was able to contact Elite and will surely use them for any future garage door issues.

We had two doors installed (1 single and 1 double). Frank did a good job of explaining the options and trade-offs. i prepared a detailed comparison of three companies and the options and prices offered by Elite Garage Door Service won out. The doors were delivered on time and the service technicians were courteous. We are very happy with the results.

A wonderful and polite technician came to fix our garage door. The job was done perfectly and very honest and fair with the price. Thank you very much for such an honest business.
