Last year my wife and I had Travis come out and give us a quote on an AC unit for our house. I was at work when he came by but my wife was extremely impressed with his professionalism and honesty. After some discussion we decided to hire Banner and boy are we glad we did! Everyone we talked to over there was awesome! The install team came out and were extremely friendly and professional. I gave banner a one star two months ago after we ran out of propane and we are on their "stay full" program. Their response led me to give a second chance. They failed again and this time I'm attaching a pic to show the facts of this situation. Filled on Friday afternoon as the date in the picture confirms. Home from spring break vacation Friday night and no heat til Monday.
We need to have a hvac tech purge our system so we can turn on our furnace on. We don't want to pay a higher weekend rate so we wait til Monday. I won't bash their business because I'm sure they are a good company. They do need a new system of keeping full because it clearly doesn't work. My hope with this program was to have our tank filled every 30 days so we aren't hit with a huge bill when they fill a nearly empty tank. So much for that. Coming home to a cold house, no heat for the weekend and a $600 propane bill, I believe this post speaks for itself.

We recently had them out to re inspect a boiler heating system for a home we are buying. They were on time, professional and were very helpful for us to understand that the unit is in good repair, we would still be able to find parts if needed and should last for a while longer. They will be the company we call for future maintenance when we finally move in. Four stars rated because this is our first experience with them. So far so good!

We are on their "keep full" program and ran out of propane after they hadn't stopped by in 7 weeks. I checked the tank myself to find it was less than 10% full, called them and they said it will be a week until they can fill our tank. I politely requested sooner because we were almost out and the receptionist sounded like she couldn't care less.
Sure enough we ran out before they filled and I'm sitting in a 50 degree house. I called the field manager to understand why we ran out and he was rude and condescending explaining loudly that keep full is based on usage not time frame. keep full should mean keep full. Period use another company, banner is a joke

It was the first snow, and our gas furnace quit working. I talked to Mike in service, and he said he could get me the part, a new control board, TODAY. When I arrived at Banner fuel, the invoice with the proper part number for our 24 year old furnace was waiting at the counter. I picked up the part 2 blocks away, and installed it this afternoon. (Other vendors wanted 2-5 days to ship the part). But we have a warm house now, thanks to Mike at Banner Fuel. He had a lot of valuable experience that helped me. And he followed through as promised. Don't waste your time or money on Banner. We used them for almost a year and had nothing but problems. We were on their Keep Fill program and ran out twice. Most recently on Thanksgiving weekend with a house full of family and even though their website says "24/7 emergency services" they refused to come out.even though it was their fault we ran out. That's the point of a Keep Fill, so we don't have to worry about dealing with it. Now it's 30 degrees and we don't have heat or hot water. Take your business somewhere else.

The workers who come into our home are informative, friendly and extremely helpful in explaining and helping me to understand the process. They do awesome work. So, I think this is about the fourth time I've used Banner Fuel. As before, I worked with Tim on the estimates and planning phase, and I have come to trust him and appreciate his candor so much that I rarely look for other estimates any more. The work itself, which was improving the efficiency and aesthetics of prior retrofitted ducting, was done by Darren and Andrew on day 1, with Ilya joining Darren on day 2.
The technicians are polite, punctual, and clean up after themselves. Darren is particularly good about communicating and he kept me informed throughout the process, and gave me the chance to weigh my choices as he uncovered areas where options were available. I also appreciate that everyone speaks to me as the decision maker, and doesn't automatically address the man in the house as so many tradespeople tend to do. I strongly recommend Banner for all your heating and cooling needs. They have not let me down yet. I fully intend to contact them for my next project.

Banner did a natural gas line install for us in September. Very good communications. They worked with us in determining where the run would go, and calculated the correct pipe size. The meter had to be upsized, which they coordinated with Avista. The work they did was excellent and the price was fair. Would use them again without hesitation.

Young lady at the front desk was new, but she knew exactly who to ask if she had a question. She paid attention. She was quite competent to handle the job and was a quick learner. Air conditioner went out on 110 degree day Called another service and they were four days out. Banner was recommended and they showed the next day. Shawn was awesome, taught me some things I didn't know, and no repairs were made. He wrote it off as courtesy call at no charge. What great service.! Will call them again any problems in the future. From initial bid through the replacement of my furnace, Banner went above and beyond. I wanted to deal with a local outfit and had a 66 year old furnace that needed to be replaced. I also wanted to be educated about the whole process so I knew exactly what I was getting and in order to be prepared for what that entailed. I knew what the bids included and was given a couple of options based on our discussion of my needs. The technicians were there a full day and were absolutely professional and left my home clean where they had worked. I really appreciated working with them.

We had 3 bids for a new furnace and Banner provided the level of choice and equipment we were looking for, at the price point we were comfortable with. The installers were professional and even the city inspector said what a good job Banner always does. My new furnace looks like a factory demo installation it's so well done. I could not be happier with Banner and look forward to using their services for some other heating and cooling projects I have coming up in the future.

Our furnace died Christmas Eve and after calling several places, a friend of mine recommended Banner Furnace and Fuel. Bryan came out after close of business on Christmas Eve when he should have been home with his family. That meant so much to us. We needed a new motor that he couldn't get till Monday so we hunkered down with heaters and blankets. He got the motor and installed it on Monday. He is so fast and efficient and caring. We love him! Banner Furnace & Fuel is our new heating company. They are awesome!

These guys are awesome! Dayton came out to fix our A/C today, what a nice guy and fixed us up super fast and inexpensively. He was knowledgeable and efficient, had a hunch what was going on and sure enough that was it. He had our A/C unit back online within an hour! He also shared some recommendations to help keep it healthy in the future (like actually changing the filter and cutting away bushes from the outside unit, lol) Yeah that was my bad but he nicely reminded me. Great peeps, highly recommend. :)

I needed a part for my air conditioner late Friday afternoon. I arrived at the store at 4:45 pm. They had most of the parts I needed and then they called over to another parts store to see if they had the remaining parts I was looking for. After they confirmed the other store had the remaining parts, they asked them to stay open until I could drive over and get those parts. I had everything I needed by 5:05 pm on Friday. I had the air conditioner fixed by 6:30 pm. Thanks Banner!

Problem was furnace blower never shut off. Went 24/7. Banner sent a tech out and he checked the system out and during that time the blower went off. Said maybe it was a relay on control board that was intermittent. Right after he left the blower went back on and stayed on. Same tech came back and couldn't figure it out. They sent another tech and he said maybe an intermittent relay on control board.
It started working again 24/7. I called them and said to but a new board in! They said they would have to order it. Same tech came back and put in the new board. Has worked ok since. 4 trips, and $533 to put in a $65 board. Why not suggest that in the first place?

I was driving behind a Banner van on my way home from work and the driver was swerving like crazy, almost wrecking the van multiple times. I called Banner to inform them of the driver, but the woman who answered just replied "okay." and really couldn't have seemed to care less. So I said "okay, wow, you really don't seem to care." and then she hung up. Thanks for watching out for us, Banner!

Wish my husband would of checked reviews from other customers before choosing Bannar. Had a huge tank delivered and hooked up on a Monday but now they can't fill til Friday? And they can't tell me what time their coming? And no it wasn't held up by inspection. Need propane for COOKING among other things here, got a family to take care of. Will never refer this company. Do your research and ask a lot of questions before you use them.

I would give negative stars if I could! I am so furious right now! $200 for a $4 part and fifteen minutes of labor?! They didn't have the correct part when they first showed up. So they had to come back. When they came back they charged me for an additional trip and additional labor. So double trip charge and double labor charge because THEY didn't have the correct part?
Will never use this company again. Making a bbb complaint to try and recoup the $95 that they stole from my fiance.yes I was at work so my fiance had to meet them there.clearly took advantage of my fiance. Not ok.

I don't usually take the time to leave reviews but in this case, I feel like it's warranted. To make a (very) long story short, there was a problem with the A/C unit they installed (a problem they discovered -- not something I complained about), they said they would follow up with me, and they never did. I then contacted them and they said they would follow up with me.and they never did.
I then contacted them again and they set up an appointment.and then never showed up. I contacted them AGAIN and we set up another appointment. This time they showed up but told me that no work needed to be done.no work ever needed to be done.why do I think it did? This was the exact same person who had originally told me work needed to be done and that I would be contacted.

Had a new furnace and air conditioner installed by Banner a few years ago. We felt like we got a good price and had all questions answered. The installers were on time, clean, polite, and did a great job. One piece for the AC couldn't be completed until spring. Banner came out without us having to remind them and took care of it. This was absolutely the best possible service, equipment, and price we could have hoped for. Thanks, Banner. Update: I booked a duct cleaning for our home.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Ran out of oil for our furnace Friday night. We call the EMERGENCY line, no answer, twice. Then call the normal line. They say they can't come out until Monday, since we're not on their monthly charge thing. Came home to a 40 below house, and as they claim to have "emergency" services we will be FREEZING for the rest of the weekend.
Not only that, but insanely the minimum is $260 for 100 gallons. Insane. Should probably take your "emergency services" claim off of your website since you couldn't help us in an emergency anyways. Will not be continuing service with you.

We strongly recommend Banner Fuel if your are in the market for good service and products at reasonable prices. Phoned on Thursday, and tech was here on Friday! Ryan was on time and thorough. He identified our AC problem within 5 minutes of arrival. He reviewed options for correction then implemented. This is after we went thru the heat of the summer with no AC after attempting to use a different vendor (see my review on Norco). Additionally, Ryan took the time to instruct us on PM procedures. We are Banner fans now!

Propane delivery: This is the second time my keep fill account has not been kept full. They waited till the last minute. I won't even get into the temperamental driver because his reason for not filling our tank was juvenile. The only reason there are any stars filled out is because the customer service phone person was heads and shoulders above the jackass who did not fill the propane tank.again. BTW down to single digits cold. Luckily we have central air and propane is just for water heaters and space heating.

Banner generally has very good and fast service. They are careful to explain the costs ahead of time, too. The only problem I've ever had is that in fixing the furnace last winter, the repairman disconnected the wires to the central A/C unit and never reconnected them. It took a $100 service call from another company to discover the problem when the A/C did not turn on this summer.

I called Banner when I had an emergency furnace issue and the company who installed the furnace couldn't be reached. First off, they were a good deal cheaper than the other company and when I started telling the technician about the problem over the phone he offered to walk me through some possible fixes first to save me the cost of an in-home visit.
We ended up getting our problem resolved without a technician coming out to the house and they were so helpful and friendly on the phone. Now that's the kind of customer service I can rave about.
