Known Jeff and been his client over 15 years, from hands on quality delivery to the point unfortunately I no longer can recommend for his work. The crew not only unskillful and dishonest, no accountability from the owner with the failed delivery. Bathroom tiles grouting unmatched color to peel-off less a year (we gave them annual maintenance jobs for 3 years).

Last subcontractor tried to talk us into re-tile a small area for 3K+ (home only 5-year). Referred friend for 18K repair job, the most important water leak from siding and windows - they sloppily glued it without any real fix or replacement. 1 year later water leak reoccurring from same siding and windows work areas, my friend not only has to hire new contractor to completely do-it-right for the unfixed water leaks but re-install water damaged floor from previous year. Jeff came examine the mistakes, said his warranty only 90-day and promised will send more crew further investigate within days.

As always they never show or follow up with their promises. There are 2 occasions they will have speedy responses: a next new contract and collect payment. I and my friend have been burnt by their work repeatedly, keep away from them until Jeff can give his energy/time for honest delivery to his loyal clients.

I absolutely love these folks. They do an AMAZING job. If you're looking for a contractor that is thorough, professional, competitively priced and really communicates throughout the job process, Jeff and his team is who you're looking for. They handled a severe water claim I had on the second floor and it turned out perfectly. Highly, highly recommend.

This was an awesome experience, I drove 324 miles to get to. I went to look at some surplus tile trying to match existing ones in my parents home. Unfortunately we could not match. You would think a bust what I didn't get in needed material I received an education in tile and the lastest available synthetic flooring. Thanks to the lovely owner and assistant John whom took the time of their day and a thirty minute drive for her to meet me. I came not disgusted by what I didn't find but with plenty of options to move forward as finish my project.

Jeffis very professional and did an outstanding job! From the date of the first call to completion of the job was just under two weeks. Estimate was accurate. The quality of their work is excellent. flooring level, tiles level and spaced out correctly. Great communication and follow through: they tell you when/what they are going to do; and then they do it.

This is the kind of service everyone should expect but rarely receive these days. I was very pleased with the job they did for us and plan to have them come back and do some additional work in the kitchen. I highly recommend it.

I had Details Tile re-floor my entire house prior to selling it, which helped me get it for top dollar on the first day. I used inexpensive materials and they were pretty fast and helped save me money by re-using my old baseboards. On my new house they re-did my floor and I used high quality material and they spent a lot of time prepping the concrete, cleaning it and smoothing it out, which in the end made the final floor amazing - no uneven spots, no lifting anywhere.

When I had a concern, the owner reached out to me to fix it. The flooring cutter Greg was a prodigy and got razor exact cuts to fit super fast. They also did Quartz counters in my kitchen. They helped me find material that looked good but wasn't outside my budget, they waited for my new actual sink so they could measure exactly, they made a custom adjustment to my cabinets and counters that I wanted, and even added an extra electrical outlet when I requested it.

I've seen terrible joining of 2 slabs before, and Details Tile has my 2 slabs so close I almost can't even see it. It's amazing. So glad I used them. This is going to last me the next 20 years with no regrets because of the high quality they put into the job.

Poor poor scheduling and slow turn around. We were quoted a bathroom remodel (for our bathroom that is only 20 SF) a 7 day turn around. Demo started on June 17th. It is now July 28th and it is still not complete. We have already paid in full and they have cashed the check but not finished the work. We had multiple delays with them not scheduling workers in time, or workers showing up without materials ordered, and they had to order tile 3 times for our project.

It wasn't until I brought it to their attention that they realized no one ever ordered our floor tile. We were offered several apologizes, but it's clear they have a break down in communication. We are still waiting for our project to be completed, and it seems only like if you complain that someone will come out to work on it. I recommend going elsewhere to spend money on such a large overhaul. What was quoted as 7 days is now turned into 6 weeks.

Maria and her team were incredibly helpful and efficient. They had so many great choices of countertops and were very thorough on their quote. We ended up putting the project on hold but would have used them, no question. I highly recommend this team!

Jeff and his team did an amazing job on our kitchen! When we bought the house, we loved everything but the kitchen which was quite dated (shown in pictures.) but after this team was done, the kitchen is now my favorite part of the house! The project stayed on time or ahead of schedule & Maria communicated with me often on updates and sent photos. She was awesome to work with and coordinate through.

The team they sent was very detailed in their work and did a wonderful job. They also hung our tv and fixed a bad paint job in our room - I definitely plan to use them for any future projects we have come up! In regards to pricing, I got quite a few estimates and this was by far the lowest I received. After going back and forth on materials needed and settling on the numbers in the quote, it did not change as I have often heard it can so once you start a project. I highly recommend Jeff and his team!

I probably had a more detailed image than most of what I wanted my new kitchen to look and function like. Working out the details was quite the challenge at times, but Jeff and his team made it happen. Even though the scheduling of work (or, lack thereof) was often annoying (various teams showing up unexpectedly), I truly don't know how it could've been improved upon, considering the scope of the project.

In the end, they made it all tremendously worthwhile and are SO much more than just beautiful tile work! Overall, it was quite a pleasure to have Details Tile manage our kitchen renovation. I LOVE our new kitchen. Thank you Details Tile!

Details Tile gutted our kitchen, then walked off the job - leaving our house a complete disaster. They tore off our countertops, ripped out the backsplash and never returned. We went on vacation to get our of their way, only to have Jeff quit in the middle of the job - destroying both our kitchen and our family vacation. He quit the job over text, never having the respect to at least have a phone call to discuss - then left our house a complete disaster, dirty, dusty and without a functioning kitchen to take care of our three small children. Disagreements happen in construction, but how this situation was handled was shockingly unprofessional and wholly in appropriate.

From there, his vendors who held thousands of dollars of materials we had already paid for - 'chose' not to work with us any longer - making the transition to another contractor even more difficult. Because of the manner in which he quit - a one week job has turned into a five week disaster. Please reach out with any questions, we'd be happy to provide a more detailed explanation of what happened, with pictures, videos and additional references from others involved (other industry professionals involved in the situation, who 'have never seen anything like this'). We don't want this to happen to another family.

If you have a home remodel, you owe it to yourself to look into Details Tile. They do so much more than tile work. Here's a small sample of what Jeff Currin (owner) and his crew have done for me so far: 1. Raised the dropped ceiling in the kitchen 2. Painted the entire inside of the house 3. Got rid of that awful "popcorn" style ceilings 4. Turned a bath/shower combo into a glass shower with a stand alone bathtub. 5. Turned the one-sink vanity into a two-sink vanity 6. Repaired, painted, or made from scratch the kitchen, laundry room, bar and powder room cabinets 7. Installed quartz countertops 8. Installed modern ceiling fans 9. Brought the outside staircase up to code And that is just the tip of the proverbial remodel iceberg.

Just as important, Jeff was as concerned with my budget as I was. When I decided that it was worth it to expand the scope of the job and increase the budget, he made sure to steer me away from unnecessary expenditures. Details Tile has done such a good job on remodeling my home, I've already hired them to remodel my rental home. Seriously, check them out!

My realtor recommended Details Tile for some remodeling work I wanted done on a house I was buying in Carrollton. Jeff Currin, the owner, and his crew did such a bang up job on the Carrollton house, that I hired him to remodel my home in Plano. I'm updating the Plano home to get it ready for rental. Fresh paint, removing popcorn, new countertops, new appliances and so on. Here's where Jeff excels.

He reins me in and keeps me on budget. You know what else is neat, the crew tidies up every night once they are done. How cool is that? Added bonus, he and his crew do really great work. I have done several projects with Details Tile; anything from minor repairs to major overhauls. The crew is friendly and seems to genuinely enjoy what they do -- when it comes to dealing with insurance companies and getting what you're owed, they have always been in my corner. I have recommended them time and time again to friends, and everyone has always been pleased with the end result.

When it comes to major remodels they understand how stressful that time can be for the homeowner, especially when those remodels are unexpected and they are considerate to the occasional freak out (thanks for that, by the way) If you need a contractor, you should definitely meet with these guys!

One of the best contractors out there. Their work is second to none. I've worked with Details on several projects. One on a penthouse in Uptown and another in a house in Lakewood area. They have the best customer service out there. And of course they do very excellent work also! I was impressed with their quality.
