Preferred Roof Services

We knew when we were going to get our roof done, we would be using Preferred Roof Services. They are local, family owned and ran and take pride in their craft. This house's roof was 34 years old as were the gutters and we were dealing with a very difficult HOA that demanded one specific brand and type of shingle to replace the cedar shake. They took extra care and built covers over all of my garden boxes and water features.

They made sure they picked up all scraps and residual material. The pride they took in the entire project was worth its weight in gold. They even had an excellent gutter referral and suggested that black gutters would really complete the appearance. Our home, in Gem Heights, originally was the model home when it was built in 1987. Shout out to Preferred Roof Services! I had a leak in my 2 story duplex we discovered from a bedroom ceiling stain. They showed up a few hours later and fixed it within a half hour. Good people I had a leak on my roof and it was overdue for replacement so I hired these guys after getting a few bids they weren't the cheapest or most expensive. They did quality work and quickly I was really happy with the price and they did a great clean up including all the nails that we're stripped off in the initial tear off.

I used them on a commercial project. They billed me for work that wasn't done. I heard from the employees they weren't getting paid. When they want money they cuss and swear over the phone, again for work that's not done. The good workers they had have quit. I'm using them for my other projects.

They did not install a duct with bathroom exhaust instead they screwed tube with two screws unto the wood. Improper install caused me to hire someone to fix it. They were seen smoking pot in their vehicle if that matters to you. I would look elsewhere for it to be done right.

Over time I've come to view Phil and Preferred Roof Services as a true partner to me and our company. They have proven themselves to be trustworthy, reliable, and more than willing to go above and beyond for us. In our line of work, it is crucial to have these quality partners we can trust during the planning phase as well as the ability to execute on time and on budget.

We were coming into winter and bad weather with multiple leak issues on our large building. Phil was able to design a system quickly that fit our budget and time restraints as well as have it installed before the situation got worse. As far as I'm concerned, Preferred Roof Services is the go-to company in the Puget Sound.

Excellent service! I called, and had a very reasonable estimate the very next day. This was the 3rd company to come out and bid on my house. No pressure, just the options and typical recommendations. As a single woman homeowner I've been given the runaround and scams by more than a few big companies. I appreciate smaller local companies because they understand that keeping the cost down and paying attention to the finished product makes a happy customer and brings in future business.

As soon as I was ready for my new roof I picked out my color/roofing materials on a Saturday, they were delivered by Tuesday and the roof was done start to finish on Wednesday. Very nice crew, cleaned up around the house, respectful and informative. Great family owned and operated business. Fast, friendly, honest and reliable company! Thanks!
