Tristate Roofing

The sales rep came out and gave me a quote for a window replacement and a new window cutout. I gave them a deposit and was told it would be about 6 weeks. Here we are about 8 weeks later and I haven't heard anything from the company despite reaching out via email. I reached out to them again on their web form and got a response back. Apparently they under quoted me for the job and canceled the contract. I am very disappointed in their customer service and lack of communication. I will not use them for any future projects.

What stood out with my experience with Tristate Roofing are the professionalism, roof expertise, honesty, and approachability of their representatives who assessed and explained the damage and roof service we need. Both reps were also thorough and brilliant at what they do! They explained and helped us understand our options. We felt comfortable having to express our thoughts because my husband and I felt their sincerity to help us with our roof issue. Much thanks.

Tristan did an amazing job explaining the ins and outs of replacing our roof and gutters. Was very thorough, knowledgeable and no pressure sales. He walked us through the options of composite vs metal roof options, leaving us with a good understanding of each. We were very impressed his his level of service and communication.

I have not had the service done at this point and have only interacted with the salesmen. They were very open and honest. They were able to answer all our questions. Me and my partner felt very good about our interaction and with the business model of the company. We contracted to have our garage roof refinished with them. Will update review when the job has been completed.

After speaking with a couple different roofing companies, we decided to go with Tristate to replace our roof. Sean and April came out to inspect the roof and give us a quote. They were respectful, helpful, and not pushy. They even caught an area of our roof that needed some additional weather proofing that other companies did not! Tristate offered three different roofing and warranty options that help fit into our budget. Overall, Sean and April answered any and all questions!

A nice young man from Tristate came to my door, explained their services, and I set an appointment. While they were on the more expensive side, they offered simple, low interest financing, and I felt obliged to take advantage as my house desperately needed a new roof and windows. While everything took a while to get done (materials are in short supply as I'm sure whoever reading this already knows), the communication has been excellent and the service above and beyond.

I put their salesperson through the ringer and he held his own. The installers were trustworthy people and always on time and flexible. I appreciate everyone going a step or two further than what the job description states to make this an easy process for me. Thank you everyone.

Have just hired Tristate Roofing to replace my roof, put on new gutters and downspouts, and paint the house. I really appreciated the professional manner in which Tony and Tristan presented the information about roofs to me and the fact that they had options to choose from for quality and price. They were more than willing to crunch the numbers on the spot so that I could see exactly what my costs would be.

I plan to put solar panels on the roof and they didn't wait for me to ask them to come back to coordinate with the solar panel people, they suggested it themselves. My experience has been great so far.

April Johnson was the representative who came to my home. She was so knowledgeable about the company and the different roofing products. If I was in a better position financially, I would have absolutely bought through her and TriState. I really enjoyed our conversation, her friendly and honest approach, and non-pushy way of conducting business. Hope to have April back to my home when able. Thanks again!

We had 2 salespeople come to our home around 6pm after I got home from work. About an hr and a half in my wife and I told them that if they could skip to the options and cost portion it would be appreciated. another hr later we finally get our quote. After some negotiations we spent 30k for a new roof/gutters. After a month of nothing we finally get a date scheduled.

The first day of the install the old roof is partially removed before I get a call at work from an office clerk saying that I now need to spend another 7500 for new wood sheets. Apparently my roof is only 3/8 plywood and code calls for 5/8. I asked to speak with a manager and am told they will call me back. no call. The next day I call again and ask to speak with someone.

After the 3rd call I finally get a call back. Even though the original sales people knew what I had on my roof for wood (I had shown them a section I had cut out for a fan) they still wanted to charge me more now. I felt like my roof was being held hostage. I was told that the warranty would not be available due to wood not being changed. After getting very upset and frustrated and many calls, the general manager agreed to email me a letter saying they will still honor the original warranty.

I have no faith that if I had to get something repaired that they would actually honor it. After that was finally taken care of the team of guys installing the roof got it done pretty quickly using our original wood. Our roof still is not up to code but tristate was ok with that mainly due to the fact we didn't want to give them any more money. Tristate did take it upon themselves to go ahead and contact the finance company and applied for a larger loan to cover the wood. without asking us first! Needless to say we were not happy about that.

In the end the roof looks fine. The install team was very pleasant. The gutters were installed with no issues. If I could go back I would definitely not go with this company and I would never recommend them. I have already told a few friends who need roofs not to use them.

We got three bids for metal roofing and took the middle bid- TriState. When we had the project bid we were very clear about some possible structural concerns and worries about having to replace all of the plywood. The first estimate included that, but in the time it took to get competing bids they changed the cost (up) and reduced materials. The result was the classic "once you're invested we will jack up the price by expanding the scope of the work" even though everything done was consistent with out original concerns.

Communication between the original bid and the project manager was terrible- none of our concerns expressed to the sales rep made it to the project manager, so we started from scratch. Once into the project it was one issue after another. The roofers cut into siding to install the roof and could not cut a clean, straight line so the siding looked pretty bad.

One section of a porch roof had sagged, and this became very noticeable with the metal roof (not easily seen with composite shingles), but by the time we saw it the metal roof was screwed down and they just shrugged it off. Again, we had asked that these kind of issues be addressed but they basically told us that it wasn't their problem. After the project was "done" it took months to address finishing touches like cleaning up the cuts on the siding, finishing install on the gutters, and getting it to full completion.

We ultimately just cut our losses and moved on because it became clear that they had done "good enough" in their own eyes. The roof is great, and probably most folks who see it won't see the flaws. This is more about the poor communication, poor customer service, and bait-and-switch pricing than the actual end product.

Had a great experience getting an estimate done with Tristate! Amanda was prompt, fair, and upfront. Haven't had our work done yet, so cannot comment on that aspect, but having been stood up from multiple other companies in the short time I've been looking for quotes, I am satisfied with the time frame Tristate was able to make it out to my house. I look forward to doing business with them in the future!

Tim "Hammer" and Vladimir, our salesmen, met my wife and I to do a free estimate and inspection on getting our roof replaced. Their presentation was very professional and thorough. They took pictures during the inspection to show us where our potential and problem areas are. We really appreciated that knowledge to help make our decision. They educated us about how to go about checking up on contractors to make sure they are licensed, bonded, and insured before committing to work being done on our home.

They were very patient, kind and considerate when we were deciding on our options to get this project underway. They worked the numbers and gave us a new year discount and tried to come as close to our budget as they could which we appreciated. We decided on the GAF 50 year roof. We cannot add any further review on the installation as we are at the beginning of the process.

We needed an estimate on our roof and contacted Shane from Tristate Roofing. I could see that he was a very busy guy but made time for us almost immediately between appointments. He went over the company, the entire installation process, warranty's that were out of this world. Explained in detail the difference between a (master elite) and a regular (chuck in a truck) contractor.

I thought all warranty's were the same. I was way off and my eyes are now open. After the education Shane gave our family, I feel VERY Confident in Using Tristate Roofing for not only our roof but for our windows also. We have a Rental that needs new siding and will definitely be calling Shane for that as well. Tristate just made us into Life time customer.

If The extra effort I've seen so far transitions over to craftsmanship like I believe it will then we are in it for the long haul. Thank you for your patience and understanding Shane and for making us feel like family in such a short time. The weather changed and started getting rough but TriState roofing was on top. They kept my roof dry while 10 inches of snow laid on top. When the weather cleared they made a trip to my home to remove the snow to insure no leakage. They returned the next day and completed my roof installation. The job looks great though it was a tough one.

Company was very nice and prompt with scheduling estimate. Quickly realized that they are more of a roof selling company than real tradespeople. They wouldn't discuss pricing with me without my wife present. She was picking up our kid and has no interest in this roof. The sales rep literally would not complete the estimate without her being present. Felt either like a multi level marketing scam or some creepy religious policy. Left us feeling confused and icky.

This is a shake and bake company. There Communication skills oh sorely lacking. The roofer are quick but the Quality of the work is the big question. Once they got there money you are on your own.,I had problems with over size nails coming through my roof and the inspector saw this. He just past the buck I have called but no one responsible is ever in the office.

Also the warrantee contract is almost nonexistent and their receipts as Proof of purchase is shady I had to ask for a stamp or logo. Be Mineful you get what you pay for. My recommendation pass by this company

Our basement windows were single pane and drafty! After calling many various companies and looking for quality windows at a reasonable price, we talked to tristate. They were very quick, even in unprecedented global supply shortages. Two months to the day after we agreed to the job, the windows were installed. Mark and Justin were incredible. They installed the 6 windows in before late afternoon. The new windows are Fantastic!

Started a window upgrade project back in May for 4 windows, it is now Sept. There is no follow-up or follow through. This company was a waste of my time and set me back till next summer!

Another company thats over priced, over promises and under delivers. Communication was subpar, had to fix a partition was, front screen door, clean up around my house, was told days later of additional issues but never shown anything more than additional costs. Even after fixing and cleaning nails, shingles, and packaging materials from my lawn I still enjoyed the new roof. Didn't loose my mind till I had someone climb on my roof two weeks after the install and left paperwork on my front door stating everything was clean and no damages. Thats because I cleaned and fixed it. Not a bad way to spend 20k. Shop around and don't let their smooth talking sales team talk you into a same day deposit. lessons to be learned.

The estimate was raised by $7000 when signing. They said it would be done in 4-6 weeks, and could be done in rainy weather! Only heard from them one time in 3 months, ( to measure windows) then they informed us the cost is another $16,000 because of the increase costs in wood products! If they had done it when they said they would, the prices would NOT have been a problem! They are not to be trusted!

VERY impressed with Allyn and Ryan who came out and gave us a quote. They spent time educating us on roofing systems and Tri-State Roofing. I really like that this company uses employees, and not subcontractors. This is a company that cares about the customer, the products that they use, and the expertise installation. You will not want to choose another roofing company and you will know that you will never have to call someone to fix your roof. Most likely, your roof will outlast your life.

Ok I was a client from tri state but they are a great decepcion, they sent you a canvasser to your door saying that they are doing a proyect closer to you they told me the same but it wasn't true. Also they told you that they like to give you an stimate free for see if they can make it affordable for you. But not. Nothing of that is true, I give them my info, and when they walked away from my door I ear them said I got that B.t.

Besides the Flyer that they give me was expired, pretty bad work I had prefered doit my self look made for beginners, also they told me 40 years on experience, and the company was founded on 2014 so I don't recommend this company for do your job. Go whit anyone not. Whit them. Expensive and bad that is what it is. Don't open the door when they knock on your door if you own the house

As first time homeowner we had a lot of questions going into the roofing project and from the beginning tristate was beyond helpful. At each stage of our roofing processing, we had patient and customer orientated workers help us have peace of mind with one of the biggest purchases we've had to make. The end result was beautiful and well done and our home is now ready for many year of wear and tear!

Representative knocked on my door while working on a project down the street. That's fine, advertise your business when you're in a neighborhood. However, instead of kindly leaving a business card and a "think of us if you need some work!", he condescendingly pointed out a patch on our roof we are already addressing this season. When I indicated we were not interested, he decided to sneer at our windows and ask if we were ever planning on replacing them. He also had a mask on, but decided to pull it down to his chin while talking to me. Unprofessional, immature, and now I'm bitter my neighbors brought them out here.

Had an appointment last Sunday and no one showed up, no phone call, no email, nothing! Angry I wasted time on my weekend waiting for them.

Tri State roofing sent a door to door salesman out to our neighborhood day before last. DURING COVID. Rang my doorbell, upset my dog, and forced us to respond to a stranger at our front door. ARE YOU KIDDING? We've gotten a bid for roofing work from this company before, and it was ridiculously overpriced. We said thanks, no way. But to hit people up door to door to take advantage of shelter in place? Disgusting.

Tri-State Roofing is one the best companies we've worked with. We went with this company to get our roof and siding replaced and it has been one of the best decisions we have ever made. We had many bids to choose from but the way Dan Edmonds presents his knowledge of this industry and the products they use helped make this decision a no-brainer.

He was very informative and very personable which made us very comfortable entrusting him with our project. Not once did we feel pressured into buying anything we did not want nor need. He simply stated facts and delivered a presentation that won us over. Dan Edmonds is an amazing person to work with. He continued to reassured us that we were working with the best and they did not disappoint. Everything was done efficiently and in a quick timely matter. Made two appointments. First appointment the individual, Ray, called four minutes before the scheduled appointment and rescheduled for the following day. The following day Ray did not show for the appointment. I had to call the office and figure out what was going on. No impressed.

I had my house and detached garage's roofs replaced. A great experience from the initial phone call, a call to check in, to the follow up call after installation. Dan, the sales rep, went above and beyond. He took pictures of my roofs and pointed out some deficiencies. He walked me through the process of what they could do for me. And explained it all in layman's terms.

The installers were equally professional and respectful of my plants and yard. They cleaned up at the end of each day and informed me of the time they would return the following day. And showed up at the time stated. My roofs look amazing. They did an outstanding job.

I don't have a review as of yet. I had a guy come to my door last night and wanted to set up a time to get an estimate. We set one up for Saturday, We are looking to do a roof this spring/summer. But after reading these horrible stories, I may just go with another company. Glad I yelp'd them

Agreed to get an estimate for a roof in Renton. Confirmed appointment with customer service on Friday for 2 PM Saturday - had to make sure that I cleared access to the crawlspace/ etc. Roofer no called/ no showed for the estimate. I set aside time on a Saturday and they didn't have the decency to call letting me know they couldn't make it.

Customer service reached out 3 days later and I got passed to an agent who unconvincingly stated that the roofer's wife unexpectedly went into labor and that is why no one reached out to me. The customer service supervisor apologized but didn't demonstrate any responsibility or plan build trust past this experience and just kept trying to set an appointment for another estimate. I wouldn't recommend to anyone as they haven't demonstrated professionalism and didn't value me as a customer.

Tristate Roofing recovered our roof. I did see the low stars, but the comments were mainly on the salesman. Maybe because we were genuinely interested he was nice, but we had a very courteous and professional representative by the name of Bob Lyman. He heard our questions and answered them very honestly. This was the 2nd roofer we spoke with and was very comfortable in making this decision based on Bob's advice.

The scheduler was very polite as well and due to the change of weather asked us if we could change the schedule as well. This was not a problem for us since we weren't doing a tear-off. Afterward, inspectors came and spoke with me, then presented the inspection to me. The crewman that inspected was Enrique. Again, he was extremely courteous and professional. Both he and his partner were very friendly. I am very pleased with my roof and the service. Thank you.

Exemplary work performed! I am very happy that I contracted Tristate Roofing to replace my roof. From the office staff to the installers, everyone was very helpful and courteous. I didn't know much about having a roof replaced, so I appreciated the time the sales staff took to go through the type of roofing materials I could select from.

Mark and his crew installed 12 windows and 2 patio doors for us. They were GREAT! They used tarps inside and outside the house to keep foot traffic on our flooring to a minimum, kept the work areas clean.

I found TriState to be one of the most knowledgeable companies about the industry that I have encountered. I'm very impressed and pleased with the companies desire to continue to learn the in and outs of the industry and bring this knowledge to consumers.

I've had it with this company. I have blocked their numbers and told them 3 times now that I'm not Interested but they keep calling. I saw the reviews on Yelp which caused me to go with another company so I cancelled my bid appointment.

Well, they said they were gonna do an estimate a couple weeks ago. My wife and I cleared the time in our schedules to have them come and then they just evaporated. No call/no show. If I was paying them for this service I would have fired them, but instead I would just NEVER hire them and no one else should either.

Nothing done on schedule and no attention to details at all. Not a perfection job. Job done by someone who did not know anything about the material.
