Our home A/C unit went out three weeks ago. Gorjanc was very professional in coming to our house to review our needs, provide an estimate, and get the unit installed in a very timely manner. On the day of installation, the techs were here on time, did a great job with the installation, and answered any questions that I had about the new unit. I would highly recommend them.

We reported our issue to main office and Dawn was very helpful and patient and immediately assisted us with our concern and schedule a same day follow-up with no additional charges. Paul, our technician identified the problem with our air conditioning system immediately and was able to correct the buzzing sound. Jordan and his team were great! He took the time to explain everything to me before, during, and after the work and answered all my questions. The duct work and A/C installation was done timely and professionally. They were very considerate working in my house and cleaned up after themselves. I have used Gorjanc for years. They maintained some old systems for me, and I have purchased two new furnaces and two new air conditioners from them. Repair and installation services are always scheduled quickly, and their friendly and professional technicians always arrive when scheduled. Their maintenance visits (which are free under their maintenance program) are very thorough. I am routinely impressed how quickly they come out when there is a problem, and they almost always send someone who is familiar with my systems. I heartily recommend them.

I came home from vacation with no heat and needed a new boiler. I received Expert service, customer care, techs knowledgeable and polite, reasonably priced, if they said it, they did it, brought portable heaters while boiler was down, cleanup after job excellent. I am so grateful I called Gorjanc first. They came right away for an estimate and showed up for repairs on time. Plus I was able to get financing interest free for 48 months. I couldn't be happier. Don't waste your time calling anyone else.

Pete was supposed to come between 12-5. He arrived at approximately 945. He was quick to diagnose the issue(s) and more importantly offered ways of preventing these in the future. Called Gorjanc in the morning as our thermostat had stopped working. They came out in the afternoon and quickly replaced it. Felt the price was fair. The technician was friendly, explained everything well in a way I could understand. Tech wore a mask When he came in and we discussed it and I said it was not necessary. Very respectful of our wishes. Gorjanc will be our go to for any HVAC issues we may have.

Highly recommend Gorjanc. We've been a customer for over 10 years and they have always provided great products & excellent service. We had a new a/c installed recently and the whole process from the intial estimate to the clean up after the installation could not have gone any better. The service techs we dealt with (Pete, Zack and Noah) were courteous and professional and did an excellent job.

John and his team were outstanding and we will be doing business with them again in the future. They got our install scheduled within a few weeks after the first visit for our quote, and the actual install was done in two days. They were respectful and thoughtful while in our home (covered shoes, didn't make a mess and cleaned up all areas promptly) and the LG ductless mini splits they installed are working beautifully in our 100-year old home - we especially love the LG art cool gallery. I have used Gorjanc multiple times over the past few years for my clients' in real estate. Today, we had them out in Richmond Heights to find and repair a gas leak. They were inside the home for just under 30 minutes, found the leak and replaced the valve, but the bill was $403. A gas valve like the one they used is literally around 8 bucks at Home Depot. That's basically two guys at $395 an hour each. Not using them again. Pure robbery. My seller needed it fixed immediately so authorized the payment.

I would have liked to have given them a higher rating, but their recent behavior has been rude, dismissive and unprofessional, so my only defense is to now reach out to social media. Gorjanc Comfort Services has been my heating and cooling service company for the past 18 years. Services have included: a new furnace installation, new humidifier/humidistat installation, new hot water tank installation, furnace maintenance, and plumbing quotes.
I have been a loyal customer. I always pay their bills on time. So I was surprised last month when I called because my new hot water tank, still under warranty, was leaking. I asked to set up an appointment for service, and I was told to find another service provider. The Gorjanc representative noted that I had services discounted in the past, and I responded that I had used the coupons that they had provided. Was that the reason?
And why would that matter? Last year when the hot water tank was installed, the technician damaged the basement floor paint. They offered to come and touch it up if I would provide the paint, which I agreed to. Then they changed their mind and said they would take something off the bill, i.e. $25. The painting repair was estimated at $100 and they agreed.
In my mind, the situation was resolved. Since then, I have called them a couple of other times, successfully, to replace a humidistat that they had originally installed and for a plumbing quote for which I paid a fee. The day I was told to find another service provider, I asked to talk with an owner or manager to discuss their decision, and I was assured one would call me back.

No one has responded. Something has changed within the company in the past year or two. It seems the employees have taken over the decision-making and are calling the shots as to which customers to keep and which to toss. Is anyone familiar with an established service business that runs this way? This is not the quality company I once knew and used.

Our furnace broke down the evening of the coldest day of the year. We called Gorjanc the following morning, and they responded within an hour. The gentleman who came out found that we needed a new furnace: The heat exchanger on the old one could not be repaired. After he left Mr. Gorjanc arrived and helped us select a very efficient gas furnace. The following day it was installed by two knowledgeable, polite, and hard-working men, Frank and Zack.
They not only installed the furnace, but they also found a water tank pipe that was too narrow, and they fixed that too. Also, the cleanup was perfect. We could not be happier with the job.

Absolutely phenomenal service. My fiance and I purchased a home in the area in March 2018. I called for a general service tune up on my furnace and whole-home air cleaner in December 2018. After explaining that "everything is functioning just fine, I'm just trying to ensure it stays that way with some maintenance, " I was booked an appointment in mid-January, which was completely fine with me.
The technician confirmed the appointment 24 hours in advance, and I received a text and an email when he was dispatched to the house. His name was Ryan, he was incredibly kind and courteous, and he got started right away. He cleaned everything, performed a combustion analysis, checked for recalls, and checked the humidifier as well. He taught me a few things, and never once tried to sell me something that wasn't needed.
After learning the furnace is in phenomenal shape, I was charged (what I feel was) a very nominal fee for his time and services. It should be known that Ryan performed his tune-up with the utmost professionalism, and was very courteous. Thank you Gorjanc, we will call you in the spring for the A/C!

My elderly mother called them to look at her furnace humidifier. She was getting bloody noses because of the dry air. The workman went downstairs and flipped the switch on from off. He told my mother that it was a loose wire but he tightened it up and it was working now. In actuality, it was not working, he did not even have the water hooked up to it running.
He says he suggested a new one, she says he did not say anything about a new one. and he said this one was working. We installed a new humidifier by ourselves. Too bad the workman did not care enough, if he did, he waould have the water on and the dial turned up to high humidity instead of low if he had indeed actually fixed it, but the water was not even on! Very disappointed. In their defense, they did offer to come out again to look at it, but why bother when they could have done the right thing the first time out.

I couldn't get past the woman who answered the phone. She told me that someone could come tomorrow and when I expressed that it may be an emergency and would try to find someone who could come today, she said "OK" and hung up. Not that it matters, because there are other places to call, but I did not get a sense that anything intelligent was going through her head.

Gorjanc has always been amazing. I called today because our hot water tank was leaking, and someone was at my door in 20 minutes. Their employees are always courteous, friendly and respectful, and participating in their service partnership is totally worth it! It includes an annual tune-up on your furnace and air conditioner (and they call you to remind you to schedule the appointments), and discounted pricing on other visits and equipment.

Our heating has stopped working during Christmas holidays and we were freezing. We called few local companies but nobody called us back for several hours. We found Gorjanc from internet. We contacted Gorjanc and got a call back from Mark shortly. He came to our home within 45 min after we called Gorjanc. He checked and solved our problem right way. He was very polite and nice to work with. We finally signed up to be member of Gorjanc. Now our home is warm and comfortable. Thank you very much.
