Isley's is a family-owned and operated air conditioning, heating and plumbing repair business that's been in Arizona since 1957 when Guy Isley founded the company. Guy did a lot of air-conditioning and recreational vehicle (RV) work in several stores throughout the Valley. Longtime Phoenix-area residents might remember his slogan, "Yes we have it, yes we can do it."
John (Johnny D) Dargavel worked for them for about five years doing a/c and RV work. He left Isley's and worked elsewhere before he decided he wanted to start his own home services business. He reached out to his friends at Isley's, who, it turned out, were thinking of getting out of the air-conditioning business.

Plumbers are tradesmen who work with pipes that deliver water and remove waste from your home and business. They also work with pipes that provide natural gas to your home, which might be used to heat your home, heat water, and cook food. Gas and plumbing are complex systems that require the skills of master technicians to diagnose, repair and service.

Called Isley's Home service inc. my AC had went down and they could come over within two hours the tech came over fixed the problem in about 30 minutes and I was thankful and appreciative. That's the good the bad thing was he charged me 337.50$ for a 14$ part, not good? Love you guys for helping my family in need, however would not recommend your company to others due to Extreme price gouging.

I called for a re pipe estimate and to move a gas line estimate I was told it costs $59.guy came out said he can't give me that estimate. He needs a camera to look at the lines and that will be $300 more and will need to reschedule but he still needs to collect the $59 fee. I paid it and thought I'd call and explain I got nothing for $59 no estimate or anything and they'd refund my card.
They should have told me the equipment to give this quote would cost me $300 plus dollars I definitely wouldn't have had them come out. I called and waited for a return call from the dispatch manager who said yes we charge $59 just to come out. That is absolutely not what I was told when booking the appointment to get an estimate. A good company can earn revenue from jobs they compete not $59 fees to visit your home and tell you it's $300 more for an actual appointment. I didn't argue with the guy that showed up I thought I would deal with the office and they'd take care of the fee.my fault for paying the fee I guess. Beware

After calling Isley's they were able to come out for an A/C inspection the following morning. I was expecting the worse outcome of having to replace the old unit. But Rick said it was still running strong and only needed a simple circuit board bypass. I was so impressed by the professional work ethic & honesty that we received that I am completely won over by this company and highly recommend them!

We've called on Isley's in the past to replace our two A/C units and a gas hot water heater. They were actually the low bidder on our A/C project, but I thought the hot water heater was pretty expensive ($1300 installed), but that might be what they are these days. This project started out as a simple kitchen faucet replacement that I had attempted myself and got bogged down in, and morphed into that plus a replacement for our old RO system. Jonathan made three trips to get it all done, but in the end it only took two work days to sort it out and get it all done. We're happy at the moment and will see how it all works out over the long haul. Jonathan was prompt, knowledgeable, professional, cleaned things up when finished and answered all our questions.
There was no hard sell with the RO system and the install went quickly without any problems, and it all looks good and works as it should. So, we're pleased and will look to Isley's in the future for our home services needs.

I paid $650 to have my ducts cleaned, the house was left in such a mess my partner called a cleaning crew to come clean the house so I didn't have to see the mess that was left. There has been no change in the air quality of my home, we still have a major problem with dust and when we called to ask what was done, they said for anther $70 they could send a more seasoned person to look into it. This place is a rip off.

Having paid in full for the service, three days in advance. The two technicians that worked on the house asked us for money to pay for the service. After having to communicate to Crystal at their corporate they were able to finally talk to their technicians to stop asking for a payment. On that note damages on the interior walls was done during their service.
I would simply not recommend this business to anyone looking for plumbing, HVAC repair, water heater repair, or any of the above. Specific instruction were given to them regarding and their technicians didn't follow through.

I'll make a VERY long story short: Isley's caused a refrigerant leak in our HVAC system during our last service and once realizing today, admitted fault but then backtracked and tried to blame it on the manufacturer (odd, because this wasn't an issue the other two times we had our unit serviced, or on the install with them). They were trying SO hard to avoid responsibility, in almost a desperate manner.
Staff kept contradicting one another on what the issue was, who was responsible, and how much it would cost to repair. They were SO unorganized. Manager was also no help; he was unreceptive and indifferent. So basically: Isley's caused a leak, causing harm to the environment and leaving us without refrigerant and warmth. They then expected US to give them our money to fix a problem THEY created, and saw no issue with that. They truly wanted to profit off their mistake. The desperation and stinginess on their side was tangible. Makes me think of a used car salesman. Very untrustworthy.

Olivia who answered the phone with a smile in her voice got me scheduled for same day service and notified me when the technician was on his way to my house. Dustin showed up and did a great job fixing my plumbing leak. He was professional, pleasant and very knowledgeable. He made it look easy. I highly recommend this company and will for sure call on them for future needs. Great customer service!

I was so very disappointed in this whole experience. We contacted Isley's to repair our water softener. They were very late for our appointment (3 hours beyond our 8-12 time slot) We explained that we had reset it several times but it would quit quickly after it was reset. The repair techs walked in and hit the reset button and said it was fixed. When we said that it wouldn't stay reset they told us that it was too old to fix. But they got their $59 show up fee. All in all the only reason that I gave them 2 stars was that the techs were polite.

We were very impressed with the quick response! After calling Isley's to schedule for an issue with our heater we had a tech at our home within 3 hours and working heat shortly after that! Friendly staff and prompt service. We definitely recommend them and will use Isley's for all our future needs. Service: Heating system repair

I don't even know where to start with how BAD this company is. To make a long story very short they came and "fixed" the wrong unit. When we came back in town to our upstairs AC still not working, we checked out ring cameras and he clearly worked on the wrong (working just fine) unit. We had to have another company come out and fix the correct unit who showed us the poor job Isleys did on the other unit for no reason!
This company gave me the run around and finally sent another tech to confirm what we had on camera and he agreed it was the wrong unit. With that information they said they would only refund me a small portion of what we were charged because they did put new parts on a completely fine unit. WHAT?! So if you drop your car off to get the brakes fixed and they decide to charge you for all new tires you just have to pay for it because "whoops we already did it".
The craziest experience I have ever seen with a service company. Run from them! Also forgot to mention how over priced everything was once I got another company to the home to fix the right unit.

So I gave a bad review after Isleys cancelled twice on me for my AC system preventative maintenance, the second time I wasn't notified that the tech canceled. Well they did make the third appointment, actually we're able to get there early and Kevin did an excellent job. He even took time out to explain features on my smart thermostat to run my system more efficiently that I hadn't been using and took the time to make those adjustments for me on the thermostat. Kevin was friendly and thorough. My system is an Isley install from last year and it runs beautifully. All is forgiven, I'd recommend Isley's.

I was looking for a new complete water filtration system in the $2,500 to $4,000 range and found them through a certified referral network. They said they could give me a price quote but it cost $59 for a trip charge. I had scheduled two other companies and none of them were going to charge me. I told the lady I was a referral through Rosie in the House Referral Network but it didn't matter. I wish it was a different experience because they seem to have services that I will require soon.

If you want to have a company that steals packages from other families this is your place. We sent a package that was meant for my grandma by accident here and they proceeded to open it and eat what was inside. All we wanted was for someone to replace what was taken. The owner refuses to do anything about it and thinks that it was okay what had happened. Do not use this selfish thieving company! I would put 0 stars but Yelp requires at least 1.

Just purchased a brand new Trane Split System, as my old HVAC unit could no longer keep-up with the Arizona summer. My new unit is big, powerful and sexy. Prior to purchase, we interviewed 10 competing companies. ISLEY'S of course won the contract/sale. Let's hope future service lives up to the hype.

We had an intermittent issue with reverse osmosis system and of course it didn't occur the service call. Despite that, Zach was tried to fix the issue and even volunteered to do more research with R/O company if the issue reoccured. Fortunately his fix worked and the issue has not reoccured. Very impressed with the service received!

Had used their techs for service on an old 20 year old unit and got good objective feedback as to how much longer my system would last and how to budget for a new one. When time came brought out their sales rep, explained issues I was having cooling the home and need for new unit. Rep actually took video of my attic and explained why I was having issues with both unit and duct work plus gave me 3 choices as to how to approach my problem.
Bottom line is I had them replace the unit, correct and add duct work and return air vents, all was done in one day, install team showed up on time, clean up was very thorough. Ongoing service is always scheduled by a friendly office staff and field techs come out and just do their job without delay. Very happy and still a client.

Isley's performed our annual fall tuneup and also addressed a few low water pressure faucets in our home. The technician was very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. The cost was reasonable and the service exceptional. I would certainly recommend Isley's for anyone's heating, AC or plumbing needs.

Service experience has changed since my last review. Not only did I receive horrible service from a new tech who is a poor representation of the company I never received a follow up call from a manager. To top it off in ending my TLC service I was suppose to have a manager call me which never happened. On two separate occasions I was told a manager was going to call me and never did. What's shocking as a long time customer you would think every customer is important well that is not the case.

Started using this company for my personal home earlier this year. They have taking care of my RO, plumbing at Kitching and bathroom, dishwasher hookup and installed new sink and faucet. Kevin is the man and he is a keeper within this company. Always on time and such a great professional personality!

We've lived in our home in the Chandler area for over 15 yrs. We hired Isley Plumbing a few times and have received excellent service each and every time, from scheduling our appointment, notifying us with a reminder call and knowledgable plumber who answer all questions! We will always rely on Isley for all our plumbing needs.

We had a nasty surprise leak in our water service line directly under our driveway and called Isley's as I know them to be a trusted company in an industry full of questionable companies. They came out promptly to inspect the problem and provided a couple of solutions to fix the leak. They gave us some very reasonable quotes for the proposed solutions and we ultimately decided to have them replace the pipe that broke.
Once the decision was made, they had 2-3 guys out with a ditch witch and had the pipe replaced in a matter of hours. Since then we've had no issues and our water bill is back down to a reasonable price. If you're looking for a reputable company in this industry, look no further! Thanks guys! I hope I won't have a reason to call you in the near future, but if I do. hey at least I know you're going to do a good job and be honest about it!

I have used this company for years, definitely top notch, I bought a new Trane AC unit from them 2 years ago, had it checked out last year and 2 weeks ago it just stopped blowing air. I called and before they offered to send someone out they wanted to sell me a TLC program. I said my unit has a 5 and 10 year warranty, let's find out what is wrong first.
The guy showed up, he was friendly, but also wanted to sell me the TLC program. I asked what was wrong with my unit, he said bad wiring and a bad capacitor, that was not covered under warranty, but if I bought the TLC program I would save a lot of money. I am like bro, all the wiring was replaced by you guys 2 years ago, and now the run capacitor is bad and it is the only one not covered under warranty?
He said yes. 300 bucks later, on a 2 year old unit I said I wanted the capacitor, he said it was bad because it was made in Mexico. I asked him why Trane says made in the USA and the parts are made in Mexico? He said he replaced it with a USA made one. As soon as he left I tested the capacitor and it tested good! I called Isley's about it, the service manager said he would cover the part under warranty, but he had to have it back & he would refund 85 bucks.
I told him I was charged 115 bucks to tell me the wiring they replaced was bad, and 126 dollars to replace a capacitor that was good and a 59 dollar trip charge to tell me all of this, but you'll refund me 85 bucks for a good capacitor? He said yes, but he couldn't do anything else until I delivered the capacitor to them. Real disappointed with these guys this time, and I will be calling back to speak to the owner, this is totally unacceptable.
I wonder why they want that capacitor so bad, their guy said it was bad, but if it isn't covered under warranty, why do you want it back? Are they pulling them out of new units to put weaker ones in to insure ppl sign up for TLC programs? Something is fishy. Personally I like the place, but I will be calling someone else next time, and I'd advise you to be skeptical.
