Drain cleaning is the necessity that many property owners overlook. Without proper drain cleaning, you could be subject to many different drain problems which can cause you to spend more money than just a cleaning. It is important that once a year minimum, the owner of a home or business properly has their drains cleaned to reduce the risk of clogs.

Called Phil Walz plumbing after talking to a few other local businesses. Decided to move foreword with installation of new water heater because of price quoted for new unit, installation, and removal of old water heater. Installer was on time, friendly, professional, and cleaned up after himself. I was billed roughly more than 500$ more then I was quoted for, which is absurd in which these units are a 1/3 of the cost of my bill.
After contacting the business I was told that was nearly impossible because the price for what I received has not changed in the last 17 years. I was told they were going to check with who quoted me to confirm the situation, but have not gotten back to me. Seems like most of these reviews pertaining to billing are accurate. Beware of this company's operating procedures, and find someone who is more honest with there business and customers.

Their site says they "offer affordable, efficient, and reliable plumbing repair and installation services to homes." Scope of work: Plumber came to fix a shower valve WITH the wall exposed and also to make sure a tub drain valves was connected correctly. Affordable: beware that they charge 220 dollars per hour with a minimum of 165 (45 min) of work. Equates to 55 per 15 minutes. Efficient: I have the ring doorbell and the plumber came and was at the home for about 2 hours.
You can see on the security cameras he starts to clean up at around 3:18pm and then finish cleaning up at almost 3:51pm. I can see him going in and out of the home with a tool here. A leveler there. A red solo cup, etc. I got charged 580 dollars for a job. Looking at the times he started to finish. Did the math and they charged me for every minute and then an extra 15 minutes (55 dollars) Seems pretty dishonest in my opinion but have been told that that's how union plumbers are. Should have shopped around. As should you.

I called Waltz plumbing to finish a kitchen faucet install that I attempted to do myself. Plumber, Ryan, arrived (with a facemask) within 30 minutes of my call. He completed the install in less than 10 minutes (including checking for leaks). He took a picture of the part that needed to be fixed and showed how to remove it in the future so I can do it myself. I already highly recommended Waltz plumbing to my neighbor.

For 19 years Phil Walz Plumbing has been our reliable go-to for all our plumbing needs, including sump and sewage. Courteous on the phone and in person. Prompt, always arriving at the start of the window of service time. Expert diagnostic and repair service. Neat. Efficient, finishing quickly and charging only for the actual time of repair.
