We used Home Energy Group to install a new furnace and AC unit a couple of years ago and they did a fantastic job. Today I had trouble with my AC unit and Ed came right out and quickly found the problem, fixed it and didn't charge me a penny! This company has been so easy to deal with and always comes out quickly and is very pleasant to work with. Couldn't be happier with them!

I don't jump on Yelp to review a company right away often, but this one deserves it. I called because my home has an odd chemical smell that Google said may have something to do with our AC refrigerant. I spoke with Ed and he walked me through ways to decipher what the issue might be without having to have anyone come out. I appreciated his honesty and time so much.

He could have easily scheduled me for a service call and not taken up any of his free time. Instead he sent me away with instructions on finding the issue and to call back if I find anything. I don't come across businesses with such integrity often, and these guys are top notch.

After experiencing poor performance from our AC unit during the recent hot temperatures, we called the Home Energy Group and made an appointment to get our mini-split system repaired. Ed the owner was our service technician who completed the servicing and after diagnosing that the issue was related to the original installation of the system, he treated the repairs under warranty although the warranty period is expired.

Our mini-splits are now working great and we're really impressed with Ed's expertise and his integrity when dealing with the cost of the repair. We highly recommend the Home Energy Group if you are in need of maintenance or repairs for your AC or mini-split system.

I have used other companies to perform a routine maintenance on my equipment and they came up with extra charges every time. This company did the requested work, without "finding" things to fix, and even went so far as to spray off my AC unit. I didn't know that's part of maintenance until they did it, prompting me to look up basic services on AC maintenance.

The fee is somewhat discounted on maintenance when you have both AC and furnace checked in the same visit, versus seperately. I'm always for saving money. This is where the problem began. The entire company computer system was down when they were here, meaning I couldn't pay at the time of visit.as expected. I did end up having a billing issue, with not receiving any follow up phone calls or mail reminders and mentioned this in my original review.

The owner, Brian, reached out shortly after for me to contact him to make it right. He went above and beyond anything I expected. I appreciate that he took time to explain the current procedures and how they will be changing, as a result of my experience, for the better. In a world of cold convenience with no human touch, this was a welcome respite and I will happily continue to give this company my business.

We used Home Energy Group for our first replacement heat pump, and were very pleased. Years later, as we recently received estimates for our second replacement heat pump, Jason at HEG made our decision easy. It was so refreshing to not have a 'hard sell'! Jason was very matter-of-fact, and was the only one of five estimates that gave me exactly the information that I had requested from each of the five.

As a result, HEG installed a York heat pump for us, and we couldn't be happier with it's performance! If you live anywhere even close to Vancouver (I live in Battle Ground), you owe it to yourself to include HEG in your estimates if you are in the market for a heat pump!

After just using Home Energy Group for our AC repair, we will never go though another HVAC company again. They absolutely blow their competition out of the water. Their response time, pricing, and customer service are unbeatable. HVAC issues are never fun, but they really took the pain out of the process and we had a great experience. Can't recommend them enough.

We are new to the Vancouver, WA area and purchased a home needing remodeling. Home Energy Group installed a new Mitsubishi whole house HVAC system. They arrived quickly to quote our project, returned in 4 days with all the required equipment, and completed the job in 3 days. Their professionalism and attention to detail is only surpassed by the respect they showed by protecting surfaces, cleaning up after themselves, installing supply vents and returns in difficult to access but perfectly placed locations. We decided to replace our close to 30 year old Natural Gas furnace with a new one and AC to our home. I worked with 5 different contractors to see about price and relationship. One thing that I learned with this process is that 9 time out of 10, the installer is the most important part of the equipment that you select. The team at HEG helped me understand all aspects of the research that I had done.

They arrived and the crew was very professional and got to work immediately. The safely removed the old system from our home and proceeded to ensure that at least the furnace was installed before they left for the 1st day. The next day they continued their work. Crews cleaned up after themselves and were very communicative, which is very important to me.

They finished the furnace and the AC on the second day and performed a Duct Leak Test as well. This information gave me info on how to improve my home energy efficiency even more. This was great. I'm very impressed with the work they did and do plan to continue to use them for other needs in the future.

This is one of the best contractors I've ever worked with. They showed up on time, did what they said they would do, and within the budget they provided. Jason took care of all the paperwork and inspections within that one price, so it made everything very easy for me. He does the same for his workers, who spoke well of him. They said he takes care of all the paperwork and details, so that when they show up, all they have to do is focus on their jobs.

He respects their work day and does not abuse their time. I like hearing that the workers are well treated. To me, that's the sign of a quality business. Jason listened to what I wanted and gave advice, but didn't try to push things on me that I didn't want. He and his workmen were respectful and communicated well. They answered my questions fully, and complied with my requests. They willingly wore masks in this time of Covid, which was very nice. They did their work efficiently, and the system works great! I would highly recommend them.

I had Home Energy Group out to install a ductless heat pump recently. I really was happy with these guys. The owner came out, listened to what I wanted and gave suggestions, then worked up a quote with different options. His price was very reasonable. They took care of all the paperwork and included everything in one price--the energy rebate application, the permits and inspections.

That made it very easy for me. The workmen came on schedule, wore masks, were polite, and communicated well. They responded well to my requests, and did their work well. I really liked hearing from the workmen how much they appreciate the owner. Like me, they appreciated that he takes care of all the extraneous details for them so they can focus on just their work. I really like doing business with companies that treat their workers well. I highly recommend Home Energy Group.

We went through Home Energy Group for our Heating and cooling system. Jason came out and did three different quotes for different systems that would be compatible with our home. He explained in-depth the qualities of each system. We also had two other companies come out and do quotes. Home Energy Group was by far the best company as we were impressed with his professionalism and responsiveness to our current needs. Jason did an exceptional job at our house.

He was very professional and respected the privacy of our home. The clean-up of the work after it was done was remarkable. We love our new system and appreciate the responsiveness when in need of heat, the value of the equipment and understanding of the system, his professionalism and the outstanding quality of his work. We absolutely love our ductless heat pump! Jason and his team did a wonderful job getting our system installed. The time of quoting to installation took less than 2 weeks and installation was done in a couple of hours. We are extremely pleased with the work and product that Home Energy Group provided.

I purchased a ductless heat pump system from Home Energy Group in the summer of 2018. After getting several quotes from other contractors, I decided to go with Home Energy Group, and I'm glad I did. Their price was very reasonable, and their customer service was excellent. I worked with Jason Neal, and he was able to answer every question I had before and during the work.

The communication was excellent, the installation crew was fast, and I haven't had any issues with the system since it was installed a few months ago. Glad to go with a local outfit, too. Overall, I feel like I got excellent value for my money. I highly recommend them.

I highly recommend using Home Energy Group! They were the original contractors installing our heat & Air conditioning when our home was built 5 years ago. We decided to take out the maintenance plan where they come out in the spring & fall to check both the air conditioner and heater, cleaning filters, AC unit, inspections etc. What great service they provide. Tye was out yesterday and did a thorough check and explained everything in detail. I was so impressed that I called the owner to let him know. Great piece of mind too having your AC & Heat inspected!

I highly recommend Home Energy Group. Ed arrived as scheduled for a routine maintenance on my A/C and furnace. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what and why he was checking. Fortunately all was well. There was no pressure to up sell me services I did not need. He said to call him if things change in the short term and there would be no charge for the return trip. Ed was professional and was patient in explaining processes.

Had an issue with our gas fireplace; Brian came out to our place of residence and was very friendly but professional, took his time in explaining everything and answering all my questions. He solved the problem during the visit and taught me a lot of valuable operational knowledge.
