We noticed a few carpenter ants in our house and I was really worried what that could mean! I called Long Pest Control after reading their reviews and am so glad I did. The manager I spoke with (Bryce) was really kind, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions about the treatment he'd recommend. Even better, they were able to send a technician out to my house the next day. Ryan showed up on time and was professional and friendly.

My husband and I also appreciated his honest assessment and assurance that this problem was treatable. We found their prices reasonable as well. We're so glad to have found Long Pest Control and plan on using them in the future if we ever have need. Thanks, guys!

Left an online request for pest control services Several days ago. No response. EDIT: There was some confusion as to how best to reach me. His staff did in fact reach out to me via phone message and email. Great follow up and customer service.

I discovered what looked like a small pinch of coffee grounds on the inside of my front door jamb on a Friday afternoon. When I cleaned the area, I found two milky-white insects that were not ants. I had never had a pest problem in the 22 years we have been in our home, & had never used a pest control company prior to this. Long Pest Control was recommended by a friend, & I immediately called them at 3:30 on a Friday afternoon.

A real human being, Bryce, answered the phone! Technician Chris was able to come out & inspect our home the following Tuesday, and discovered that the insects were Subterranean Termites. Not very common in our area. A specialized treatment was set up for the following week, which took three hours. Curtis was patient & thorough in explaining the process, and provided lots of information regarding prevention of future termite damage.

My husband & I are very appreciative of Long Pest Control's quick response, professionalism, & their obvious dedication to doing the job correctly! We will also be using Long's for spraying our ornamental shrubs, as I had inquired about the mottled appearance of my azalea & small rhododendron leaves. Found out that it is caused by the Azalea Lace Bug. After working hard to make our landscape look good, it will be a relief to prevent further damage. Thank you Long Pest Control!

We are still in the process of getting rid of our mouse problem. I leaving this review because of how kind, professional, and helpful their staff is - both in person and over the phone. I've spoken to Heather and Bryce several times over the past couple months and their customer service is wonderful. All their techs are professional, friendly, compassionate, and explain things well. EDIT: It's been a few months now, and we have had ZERO rodent activity.

Since our problem took a while to tackle (we had several entry points), they sent out one of their more seasoned employees, Curtis. Curtis has been a joy to work with. Long Pest just did the annual crawl space and foundation inspection of my home - and the tech (Riley) was very thorough in checking past trouble sites - taking helpful photos and thoroughly explaining details of repair needed. He had such a patient and cheerful personality - that he brightened my day. I have been a very satisfied customer of Long Pest Control for 40+ yers.

Ryan was absolutely amazing. I can not rave enough about him. Showed up on time, did a very detailed walk /crawl through and even walked around with me pointing out the problems that need to be fixed. I would definitely recommend Longs to anyone let alone Ryan. We had an infestation of yellow jackets in our ground that made it perilous to go outside -- I called Long Pest Control, reaching someone immediately, who checked and arranged for someone to show up at our place within hours. The person who arrived, Randy, explained what the situation was and what he was going to do, then did it, and the problem was solved. Through out the service was professional and friendly, and far exceeded expectations. I highly recommend both the company, and especially Randy.

We hired them to exterminate for all pests in our mobile home. We were promised this included all pests. Mary was asked if we had seen fleas. She said she didn't see fleas but something had been biting her all over her ankles and legs since moving in. Turns out we have a flea infestation. Calling Longs back they refuse to come and reapply pesticide for fleas unless we pay them an additional $300 or so.

This is not an exterminator we'd ever hire again. They do not keep their word that their fumigation will work against all pests. Calling them they insisted we only were concerned about spiders. Yes we were concerned about spiders and whatever was chewing up Mary's ankles and legs.

I am extremely particular. I also rarely log on to this account to actually leave a review. We previously had a rodent issue and used a different, larger pest control company. They did the bare minimum and it went away for a year then came back. When they came out to take a look, I had to ask them to go into the crawl space and had to ask them to set traps - they weren't going to do anything before I asked.

I called Long. Not only was Ryan knowledgeable about pest control, he was knowledgeable about home construction and where the vulnerable entry points were. They will find the specific issue, address it, and solve the problem. When I asked the call person, what if they can't find the entry point, they laughed at me and said, they will find the entry point. Which they did. They are extremely competent and thorough. I can't recommend them enough.

After several nights of hearing scritch scratching sounds above our ceiling in three rooms, we contacted Long Pest Control. Curtis arrived promptly and spent as much time as he needed from basement to attic to check all possible entrances which a rodent from outdoors could have used. Curtis communicated with us all the while about rodent behavior and preventive measures for the future.

That night we heard scritch scratching. The next night: blissful quiet(!) which lasted for the next several days. When Curtis returned he discovered a juvenile rat which had met its demise in one of the traps he had set. Then he blocked off one last potential travel route. We are very impressed with Curtis and Long Pest Control for their promptness, problem solving, efficiency, and personable, professional manner. We wholeheartedly recommend this company to you.

Super friendly on the phone when first calling and the technicians that have come to our house have been extremely polite and professional, even though this is a service I hope no one needs, it's good to know that there is a solid solution and team that can be relied upon. 10/10 highly recommended Service:Rodents

I wasn't expecting to change my mind so much about this company but I did thanks to Curtis. Everything just kind of shifted and changed after he came out to our house. Not only did I stop seeing rodents after Curtis came, he caught them as well. This nice young man educated us a lot on why rodents were coming to our house and gave us a lot of advice on how to deter and prevent them from coming back.

I honestly wish Curtis would've came out the first and second visit we had with Long pest control but I understand he can't be everywhere at once. We even got the crawl space cleaned out after he recommended it. He did warn us about burrowing and bastards still tried to find shelter in the one shallow area outside of my house. I actually went hunting last weekend and caught my first rat after I noticed they had returned to their old burrowing spot.

It took about 2 months for the rats to come back but he did warn us about this and it's difficult to stop burrowing. I'm just more concerned about them being INSIDE, UNDERNEATH, or ABOVE the house. I'll go hunting myself if they're burrowing. And I'll be sure to give Long pest control a call back if I find them under my house again. but HOPEFULLY I'm done having rats under my house. I've spent too much money now.

When I called, they were able to be responsive to my needs. I did not want to subscribed to a quarterly just a one time service. They could accept that and did not keep trying to upsell the quarterly service, once they understood my need. Paul came and was professional and was patient with questions. He did not seemed rushed and had a sufficient amount of time to attend to the task at hand.

On time arrival, friendly and knowledgeable technician. Covid procedures and mindful of our no shoe policy. Cared for our garden (avoided treating near it) and was thorough to cover all areas of our home and yard. Easy to schedule and would recommend to anyone. After one week of treatment, hardly any sign of pests. Thank you so much!

I have never been so happy to have bugs! My experience from the office staff to the technician that serviced my home was nothing but professional. I had issues with another firm "no showing" me and voiced that to the office manager. So, Long Pest Control had their staff show up early and ready to go. He was extremely kind in providing education to myself and husband regarding the nature of my pest and how to eradicate them.

He then spent a long time working my issue. I am confident my problems will be solved. I highly recommend this firm to any one seeking a better understanding of their pest issues, how to avoid them, and most importantly how to rid yourself of them. Of note, he was also sensitive to my pet.

I needed a thorough evaluation and plan to address an ant and rodent issue in a rental property. Absolutely phenomenal service! Chris was prompt, very professional and knowledgeable yet personable. He did exactly what he said he would do within the timeframe quoted. I needed peace of mind that this problem would be handled and after 2 weeks, ants appear to be gone and it's likely that the rodents already caught have resolved that issue.

The follow up and follow through are outstanding. I was very impressed with the photos taken, the diagram outlining areas of concern and identification of exactly where bait (pet friendly) and traps were set. The cost is very reasonable for such a complete service. I highly recommend Long's Pest Control and would use them again in a heart beat.

We started using Long Pest Control about 3 or 4 years ago. Maybe 5? We initially called them out to deal with odorous house ants. They took care of them quickly. We joined their membership plan, and they come out quarterly to spray around the perimeter of the house for bugs. Their customer service is great and our home is pest free. We recommend them to friends and are happy to continue to use their services.

I had some ant issues and spider problems from time to time. They came a week after I called and it's only been a couple weeks but so far so good. Going to have them come quarterly for maintenance. Really professional and easy to work with.

I initially asked for an estimate and we agreed to it. What they didn't tell me was by signing the contract there's a whole back page of fine print and there's actually four treatments of $105 apiece that they never included in the initial bid. That doubled the price and I certainly would not agree to it if they told me that upfront.

The service itself was done well and it did kill the ants. A month after the treatment I got a bill for $105 and I had no idea they were even coming out to the house. If you want to cancel those four treatments they will charge you or attempt to charge you 50% which I can't even figure out how that's legal. Anyway, I'm sending this to the tourney general because it's so deceiving. There's enough reputable companies. Call anyone else

Long Peat Control is great called on Monday with an ant problem and they were out doing a treatment for us on Wednesday - the technician was very knowledgeable and professional and I appreciated him answering my questions- we haven't seen an ant since our service which is the best part - thank you very much

We have been customers of Long Pest Control for about 12 years and have never had a bad experience. The technicians are very professional and courteous and always willing to answer any questions. Their vehicles are always clean and well maintained. I believe that speaks a lot about a business. The office staff is also friendly and professional. We also love that once a year they do an under the house inspection. They are truly a great business to deal with!

Update: Don responded to me and seems like he wants to make it right. That goes a long way - tells me that he does care, so I'd upgrade my rating. Good people - give them a chance, but just make sure they cover all that is expected.

We hired them due to hearing rodents in the walls of our house. They arrived when they said and followed covid 19 protocols well. The technician mapped out our property, made suggestions on rodent proofing the house, and set traps. They then did two follow up visits. Our house is now rat free. The price was very reasonable and all the staff I interacted with were organized and responsible. Would definitely hire again.

Highly highly recommend. We recently bought a house and because it was empty for a while we had a ton of spiders. There were spiders EVERYWHERE. I didn't even want to go out of my front door because there were a large amount of spiders. I always had to have raid on hand just in case I encountered any bugs. To top it off, we had a bees nest in our roof. Insert Long Pest Control.

The consultation was great and they left us with no question unanswered. They gave us a really reasonable deal and it was super affordable. They came to our house, let us know everything they were going to do, and as soon as we got back to our house, the spiders were gone and so were the bees. I haven't seen one bug since they Long pest control came. Seriously a God send company and team!

REALLY happy with these folks! I only wish I'd had the sense to call them much earlier; we'd have had a lot less damage. Everyone we dealt with, both phone and in person, was terrific. Cost was very reasonable, less than I'd have expected for the level of service. HIGHLY recommended.

Thanks to Long Pest Control there are no more ants swarming on my deck and sneaking into the house.

We moved into our North Tacoma home this year. Through a friend I found out about Long Pest Control and had them come out to see if our 115 year old house had rodent issues. I was prepared to sign a contract, but they said they found no evidence of activity and just said to call in the future if we noticed anything! What? A+. A few weeks ago we noticed sugar ants and called them again. Nate was the tech and he was awesome. He explained everything about sugar ants and I trusted him completely and we signed up for a years service to win the ant battle! This company is legit, I highly recommend!

I love this company. Every person who calls you from the office is friendly and so are the technicians. If you have a service plan set up, if anything pops up between visits they just come out and take care of it, no extra charges or waiting or anything. I have the annoying little ants that just go everywhere and they were streaming into my house when I bought it, but the tech did a thorough first treatment and the service is persistent when the ants pop up outside so they don't get back in. They are reasonably priced compared to the services I have had. It's nice to not have to deal with the ants.

Responsive to our south Tacoma rodent situation. Cost effective and great customer service. Quick to schedule and their plans are guaranteed. Also - we have kids and neighborhood pets so we didn't want easily accessible toxic solutions. They were great at coming up with a plan.

We had yellow jackets chewing through our wall, their scheduling staff worked with me to get someone out ASAP so I didn't have to wake up with these angry wannabe bees all over my room. They came located the nest and exterminated them successfully. Can't be happier to have that taken care of!

What a refreshing experience. Until I used Longs I was jaded about pest control companies. I had used two other local companies and neither of them solved the problem. I turned to Longs because a friend had referred me to them.
