I hired Green pests to do 3 of my properties. We recently had a regular service (had to call 5x to get scheduled ).On this last visit, the technician "informed" us that we had termites! Eek! He then told us that it would be $2500 through the company but he can do us a favor for $800-$1000 to put down bait. First of all we looked up the baits and they cost $50. Secondly we got several other quotes from Terminix and Orkin.
They literally laughed and said it wasn't termites but constant water breaking down window frames. There were no termites in site! They also state that presence of termites is quite noticeable as you see swarms and of insects and eggs. We have now canceled services with them which by the way is a multi step process. The rude lady on phone was like well that's not us and we have never had any other reports.
This is absurd if this is her measure of when a customer tells you of technician dishonesty. Is she insinuating the paying customer is wrong? It's laughable! I have all the texts to prove! I have attached the screenshot of the guys' texts and blacked out the number for yelp purposes. Don't use this dishonest company! Should be ashamed of yourselves. Worry about your staff and not question your paying customers when they try to warn you otherwise lol

I would say that some techs are better than others. Not sure what type of chemicals they use but it doesn't seem overly effective. Some techs didn't do the services that say are in a typical visit. Like clearing spider webs. You have to call to have them come back. And when you want to register a complaint, they don't want to accept responsibility.
They don't tell you that it's a yearly contract upfront. Most businesses don't use that type of approach now a days. So make sure to read the fine print. I don't recommend this service.

They were fast on service and quick to get here but speed wasn't the issue, quality was. We had a mice problem so we set some traps and then called Green Pest Services to come in the morning asap. The traps killed 4 mice over night and when the pest technician came he wasn't clear at all about how they were getting in the house, his response was "anywhere", gee thanks that's helpful.
He proceeded to set traps and spray and that's about it, we could've done that. The worst part of the service was, he didn't even dispose of the dead mice in the traps! He just left them there. There was no clarity or communication on how to prevent this from happening again.

Please don't use this company the services maybe OK but dealing with their billing office or management is a pain. They are only interested in billing you, I sold my house and they still charged me a cancellation fee of $150 dollars after they said they would not. I wished I read some of the reviews I'm seeing here from last year.

Green Pest Control as a whole is the way to go. No one dreams of having to find a pest control company, but without a doubt, GPS is the company you want. It is easy to schedule appointments and they truly care about solving your pest problem. We recently discovered mice in our basement & our technician has gone above and beyond to ensure all is done to eliminate this problem.
I also cannot speak highly enough of our technician (Ashton) and the service he continues to provideto our property. Ashton is phenomenal - simple as that. He is a great communicator about what is going on with our pests - typically a topic I steer far away from. He's knowledgable in both the service he's providing as well as the source of our problem. Ashton is incredibly respectful of our home and is efficient during the window of the service.
As much as I would like to not have to see anyone for our pest control, I am very thankful Ashton is the friendly face of our service. Cannot say thank you enough to him and the GPS team!

Our technician, Jason, is awesome! He is always so polite and courteous, and most importantly, incredibly professional and thorough. He really does a great job every single time and goes above and beyond. He gives us great advice on how to treat problems we are dealing with - especially with spiders - and how to prevent problems. We had a service with him yesterday and to our surprise, a fox had recently died in our window well (yeah, it was pretty unpleasant).
We are grateful that we were due for our quarterly treatment as we probably wouldn't have noticed it for a while and it would have been more of a mess than it already was! Jason was so helpful and went above and beyond to help get the fox out of the window well and into a bag - and clean up the mess left behind. Thanks to Jason, AWLA was able to quickly pick up the bagged fox and get it sent out to a lab to make sure it didn't have rabies. Jason mentioned he was being promoted to another position and therefore wouldn't be our technician any longer. We will definitely miss him but am happy that he is getting a well deserved promotion. Congratulations, Jason, and thank you for all of your hard work these past few years!

VERY unreliable company that just wants your money. I initially purchased their services to treat silverfish in my condo. They sprayed once and told me I had a warranty if I saw anymore Silverfish. The warranty appointment I had to reschedule due to a family emergency. They called me back with a voicemail saying that they are coming on __ date at __ time.
I didn't know it was a quarterly service and I thought they automically rescheduled my warranty appointment for me since I had to cancel. Another $120 after $120 from the inital spray. They sprayed outside and left me with more wasps, spiders, beetles. At this point, there were no improvement outside or inside. The managers (Nuvia and Alyssa) are rude.
They are aggressive and seem pretty unprofessional. Their technicians are creepy and careless. My first technician kept talking to me while I was working from home. I felt unsafe because I told him that I would need to do work and I told him where to spray. He continued to come into my office to chat. The bug problem only got worse when I had their services.
They charge a $150 for cancelling their services. Be prepared to deal with rude managers who talk to you like you're a second class citizens. The company is money hungry. Please save your money and time. Go to Miche Pest (HIGHLY recommend) or another local company. Read the other reviews to see how others were treated and left with low quality services.

I've used this company for a few years and everything was okay-ish. The technician would come out, spend about 5 minutes shaking some stuff in a can around the perimeter of my townhouse and then off they were to another appointment. For my Fall quarterly appointment, I received the robo call telling me to make sure I have my back yard gate open and all the regular stuff.
The appointment day comes and no one shows up, no one calls from the company. I ended up calling the main line and leaving a voicemail and no one bothers to return my call. A week later, I received another robo call telling me when my new appointment was. I called customer service, cancelled the appointment for the quarter. A week and a half later, get another call telling me my appointment is coming up. Emailed back and forth with a CSR (the person should've been less snippy) and she told me I could address my concerns with the Cancellation Department when they call me. Ended up cancelling my whole account over something that could've been resolved with better customer communication.

I wasn't happy they were knocking on my door and aggressively selling their services. Pushing me to signup for their monthly services, even when I said several times I wasn't interested. They just gave me this awful feeling they were trying to scam me. If you are services are great - why do need to this door to door crap. Also, why lie that you are rated the best pest control in the area when Yelp clearly doesn't agree.

Please beware of this company. Wasted my time and money. At the initial treatment, the guy was nice and courteous. After my initial appointment, the ants returned in my house 2 days after the exterminator came. I told them on the follow up that I'm not interested in the services anymore. They tell me "wait until the service kicks in" The company returned a month later for the second treatment, I said I'm not interested and please discontinue the service.
The staff then rudely calls me on September 14th 2021 to demand a $150 cancellation fee. I decided that I'm going to just pay the cancellation fee and warn others of the terrible customer service, terrible workmanship.

Samuel Bulcha, our technician, was very polite and provided excellent service. We've been with Green Pest for a number of years and they always provide excellent service, inside and out. We have a koi pond, so great care is required on our outside applications, and we've come to trust Green Pest with that. Samuel was very sensitive to this with our mosquito application today, for example. Also, when we find evidence of mice from time to time in our basement storage area, we just give Green Pest a call and they come out and provide a service -- off schedule -- for no extra charge.

I would give negative stars if I could. Like so many others said, stay away from this company. I was already on the fence about their services to begin with and then today happened. Green Pest shows up today to do the treatment and of course, they come at worst time possible. I just started my one of many meetings for the day and all of a sudden my younger dog starts barking like crazy.
I check the Ring camera and see a white van parked in my driveway. A few minutes later, my husband calls. I decline the call, because you know, I'm in a meeting. He texts and asks me to bring in our older dog, who is basking in the sun in our front yard. I tell him I can't because I'm in a meeting. Husband says he'll tell Green Pest to come back another time.
More time passes and my younger dog is still barking like crazy so I check the Ring. Green Pest is still in my driveway and I can see the technician getting his gear out to start spraying. I text my husband and he says the technician wasn't answering his phone. I start getting annoyed. Our house has a walk out basement that leads to backyard and I work in an office down there.
The technician starts spraying and it's LOUD. So, now I have my younger dog upstairs barking AND the technician spraying and I'm still in my meeting. Now, I'm really annoyed. After several noisy minutes, the technician is done with the back yard. I'm really, really annoyed at this point and am glad he's done. Or so I thought.
A minute later I heard the blower go again. I check my front door Ring camera and he starts spraying parts of the front yard, while my older dog is still out there, snoozing. At this point, I'm livid. The technician knew my dog was out there and still decided to spray near him. There was a reason why we asked from them to come back at another time and instead of actually listening to us, Green Pest ignored us and went ahead and sprayed anyway. After my meeting, I immediately called and cancelled my services with them.

Green Pest Services has been ripping us off for years now. We pay them quarterly and have been double billed and the mouse problem at our DC property has gotten worse. They are not reliable, they make appointments that they don't keep and they make excuses, they never call to cancel or reschedule appointments, the Owner is not reachable, the Office Manager is never available and they are clueless about addressing a rodent problem.

We have mice. I called Green Pest, a real person answered and made an appointment promptly. Solomon came and completed an orderly and thorough treatment set up both inside and outside. He is competent, informative and friendly. All at a great price - which I happen to know because this is not our first rodeo, mice-wise. Very happy.

Technicians are professional, but the company website is completely fraudulent with their "Open 24 hrs a Day - 7 Days a Week" statement. This means they have an answering service that will take your calls, but they typically won't be able to get a technician out to your house for 3-5 days.regardless of the situation. I purchased their service for a fruit fly issue across my house.
They came out to treat it, came out again for an overall service, then once they locked me into an annual contract - it no longer became a priority. The fruit flies are back, getting worse every day, and the soonest they could get a technician out to my house is in 4 days. When I asked about the 24/7 policy, they told me that is "just taking phone calls, it doesn't mean we can get a technician out there." Cancellation? Doesn't matter if the service didn't work.
You are locked into a full year unless you want to pay a $150 cancellation fee - and I had to ask them to send me a copy of the contract so that I could verify. I've been using Green Pest Services for several years now. They've always let me know in advance when they're coming and typically since they're outside I don't have to be home. They leave me something on the door to let me know they treated the area. On two instances we have had issues with ants indoors and they've come out both times free of charge to fix the problem.
All the techs we've had have been very thorough and ensure that I understand everything. During Covid they take precautions by using a mask, wearing gloves, and using shoe covers! I would recommend them! Today we had Wondale come and take care of our indoors. He was very kind and explained everything he did for me.

I had a great experience with Trevor as my tech. Had my second visit today, and so far so good. After my first visit- did see some activity- but about two weeks after- nothing. There is a reason they schedule quarterly- to keep up the maintenance. People that complain clearly only want to treat when there is an issue instead of being proactive. If their business model doesn't suit you- find someone else. They are clean, professional, quick to respond, and get the job done. Glad we signed with them.

A late update on my contested bill etc. To be fair, the company did finally phone me back and the manager listened to my complaints. They said they would talk to the individual who was allotted to treat our house etc., improve training and so forth. They listened AND they waived the bill. For these reasons, it is only right that I write this update.

Absolutely awful! Stay away from this company. We had a serious gnat problem in our home. After I called and scheduled an appointment, i was emailed 2 different contracts for outside spraying. I explained to J., that I wasn't going to sign any contract and the problem was INSIDE. He said it was standard procedure and he added gnats to the contract.
The technician showed up to spray outside, we explained again the problem was inside. We showed him were we believe the gnats were getting inside the home. We were told they were fruit flies and coming in through the drain. No it was not fruit flies and they were not coming in through the drain. The problem persisted. During the second visit the technician had no clue what the problem was, took samples of the gnats and said he would get back to us.
He never did. This company just wants your money and obviously does not care if you have an infestation in your home. We called Orkin, they are absolutely amazing. We have had 2 treatments and may need more but they know what they are doing and are treating the area were we believe the problem was. We paid less money with Orkin, had no pressure to sign a contract and the problem is getting solved.

Not sure if they're just hurting for business or if they really bother the whole neighborhood by randomly knocking on doors when they service one house. Guy seemed nice enough but going door to door is annoying and seems desperate so I'm not going to use them, especially after the less than stellar reviews. I guess at least he wasn't also selling steaks out of his truck.

We signed a contract with Green Pest Services over the summer time to control a cob web problem. The problem was not effectively controlled last summer, yet they continue to come and bill for unclear services even knowing that these issues are not prevalent in the winter. They pressure you into providing a service that we clearly don't need and then harass with billing phone calls even though it's not clear a service was ever provided.
Plan to contact the BBB. Update: It is now May 2019, Green Pest Services is now billing for services they did not provide. They want to schedule additional visits we did not request. They claim to do these visits when residents are not home. Simply put this is a scam business.

YOU'RE FIRED, GREEN PEST SERVICES! You do a good job the rare times you decide to show up. But for the third time in the past year and the second time in a row, you were a no-show today. You sent me text messages telling me you were going to come. You sent me robo-calls telling me you were going to come. You sent me several emails telling me you were going to come.
I waited around all day and guess what? YOU DIDN'T COME! I really don't care if it's an outside service and I allegedly don't need to be home. If you tell me you're going to perform a service, then show up and perform the service. On the day you're supposed to. Not the day after. Not when you feel like it. And yes, I understand that emergencies happen.
