My family recently purchased an older home and ended up having some roof leaks during the winter. Come to find out that the roof was installed by Redmond Roofing and was at or near the end of the warranty period. We were really scared of potential costs and reached out to them for help. And let me tell you. they went ABOVE AND BEYOND and completely repaired the roof covering all expenses! Wow!
Their team was courteous, professional, and left no mess. We also had them add in some additional roof venting and their pricing on that came in much lower than expected. I will never use a different roofing company. Customer for life! Thank you Redmond Roofing! If you need the best roofing company in town, look no further.

I called to ask for a quote on a new roof. Over the phone, they asked me some questions about the roof and house and offered some advise that should put off the need to replace for several years. The time they took to question and explain everything over the phone is very appreciated. I will be back when it's time for a new roof.

Wow! I am absolutely blown away by this company. Redmond Roofing went out of their way to give our family a first class experience. As a first time home buyer, we are new to home projects. We recently bought a fixer-upper home with the roof needing quite a bit of TLC. I reached out to this company and by the next day they had a full report, including drone photos, and tips of how we can help rehab our roof and extend the life of our current situation.

Good job done by this company on my roof. There was a defect on the roof left by the builder, and it started to leak over this rainy season. Antonio showed up on exact scheduled time, did great job inspecting the site, and finished the repairment. He showed me the defect and how he fixed it. I really appreciate his great communication. For this job I contacted multiple companies and most of them declined this kind of small repair work, and some never showed up on time at all. Redmond Roofing instead handled this in a very professional way.

Bob and team (V and J) did a great job on our roof. Ours was a small, but slightly complicated job and they came through with flying colors. They were very patient and accommodating with all of my many questions and requests. We also needed some extra coordination with another contractor, which Bob handled seamlessly. The end result is a very nice job, done on time. Thank you!

I heard about Redmond Roofing via my long time contractor after I thought I had locked in on another roofing company but gave RR a shot at my business. I'm very glad I did, I found them to be very straight forward with their estimate and supporting documents to help you make an informed decision. Also, when work began the rains crept in and team left for the day and later that night around one of my many skylights we had a very slow leak which was near my TV & entertainment center- I notified Bob the owner via text and he has his crew there to fully tarp the skylights within the hour if not sooner.
This was our only small issue otherwise all went as planned, team did a complete cleanup of my house and surrounding area and are very professional. Lastly Redmond Roofing has the best pricing utilizing top materials from local companies. We are very happy with the end results and hope this will be our first and last major roofing project :-

I've been putting off writing this review for a very long time but RR's refusal to remedy a situation they themselves caused has left our family in a terrible position and it isn't fair. Our roof was fairly new (installed by someone else) but due to some kind of installation issue, it leaked. I decided not to trust just anyone and hired RR to come out and fix it. Redmond Roofing re-roofed appx. 300 sq/ft ($3000+) with similar asphalt shingles and solved that issue. However, they not only replaced the effected area, they also continued around the corner from the valley and replaced a section there as well - an area which was NOT leaking.
Now this is strangely lumpy and leaks badly. Unfortunately, we didn't notice it right away. Now we have worsening damage. We also noticed right after the repair that RR's crew had used the existing roof as a cutting board to slice pieces on for the repair they were doing - causing deep cuts into the existing roof. That area is disintegrating and looks very bad now.
They also employed a very strange technique to rebuild the valley which used no angled cuts. RR's response is that they can come out in a couple of weeks but no sooner. They can't do anything for us. Meanwhile my roof is leaking, rotting and lots of black mold is forming, Damage is occurring to the ceiling underneath as well. As I write this, it's dripping.
You would think that a repeat customer with an issue caused by them would get some kind of help under these circumstances but we're left on our own. Oh I should add that they did give me the name of someone to hire at my own expense. He didn't answer his phone. Should I trust anyone *they* recommend?

Avoid this roofing company at all costs. They make multiple mistakes, don't own up to it, and take zero accountability for their mistakes. You are better off with other roofing companies in the area. Although the actual quality of work from this company is decent, the level of unprofessionalism from their office combined with the careless mistakes they made resulted in a bad sour taste for me.
In addition to multiple rescheduling, Redmond Roofing made 3 strikes that led to this low rating review: 1. The original assessment missed the need for a flapper vent installation. On the service day, this was added as an extra cost to the invoice. 2. The original assessment missed the need for a 3rd spout extension installation. We had to schedule a second service day and, of course, this was an extra cost to the invoice not originally captured in the quote. 3.
When asked for an explanation for the multiple misses, the repairman deferred to the head office. The head office manager, Rochelle Black, was nasty and rude when responding to the inquiry. She first tried to shift the blame back to the repairman, then said that there was a mistake in a challenging manner ala "now what are you going to do with it?".
I was very put off by Rochelle's lack of customer service manners, yet I clarified that all I'm asking for is an explanation and an apology. She nastily said that they won't beg and go down on their knees about it. I clarified again that that wasn't what I was looking for and asked Rochelle if she realized that their mistakes have caused me extra money that wasn't planned for. Rochelle denied it and proposed a solution that was not a solution at all (uninstall the 2nd downspout and install it on the 3rd downspout location).
There was no apology for the mistakes and for the inconvenience, no accountability at all. Some time later, I received a 1-line email from Rochelle stating that they won't charge for the flapper vent and consider the repair contract completed. This is despite the still-missing 3rd downspout that was included in the contract. I had to spend even more time to write to Rochelle explaining that I don't mind paying for the flapper vent, but don't consider the repair contract to be completed as the 3rd downspout was still missing.
The repairman showed up sometime later to complete the job. When I reminded him that, when other businesses made mistakes, they typically eat the costs of fixing the mistakes instead of charging it back to the customer - the repairman actually had the decency to apologize. What really disgusts me from this interaction is the lack of ownership of one's own mistakes and the lack of accountability and customer orientation. Seriously, give your business to the many other roofing companies in the area - you would be glad to stay away from Redmond Roofing.
If the above is still not enough to convince you, I just noticed that Rochelle Black gave Redmond Roofing a 5 star review on Google Review about 4 months ago (June 2020). No doubt in an effort to boost the rating of this company online. I've reported this conflict of interest to Google.

Companies often tout their ability to "exceed customer expectations", but rarely do. I found a true gem when I found Bob and his company Redmond Roofing. From start to finish he and his team did a truly outstanding job and really did exceed my expectations. His crew was thorough and detailed in their work, friendly to my family and pets, and - this may seem a little silly - did an amazing clean job cleaning up (my yard and patio were even cleaner than before!). I simply cannot say enough nice things about the work Redmond Roofing performed. I highly recommend them.

This review is long over-due! If you're in need of a new roof, Redmond Roofing is the one to call! We replaced our roof last summer and after getting 4-5 bids, we found Redmond Roofing to be straight forward with their estimate and with NO hidden costs. Dale hand delivered the estimate, which was very easy to read and understand and he took the time to answer a few of my initial questions.
The workmanship of the crew was very professional and their daily clean up was exceptional! They were courteous, reliable and very responsive when an issue arose. They not only addressed it immediately, but kept us informed along the way, as our approval was needed. Bob, the owner, was not only easy to reach with questions or concerns but stopped by periodically to check on the progress.
He is very personable and it is obvious he cares that his customers are provided top-notch service. His employees have been with him for many years, which is a testament to what kind of an employer Bob/Redmond Roofing is. I highly recommend Redmond Roofing for all your roofing needs.

Working with this company and it's owner Bob has been a great experience. After looking at 7 different companies, including State, I found Redmond roofing to be unbeatable in price and quality. Bob was available whenever I needed to talk and during the wind storm in December he reached out to me to make sure the roof was okay. His workers were on-time, friendly and diligent. It is a family run business which shows in their attention and concern.

Redmond Roofing installed a new roof on our old house and just finished installing a new roof on our new home. Both times they were on time, did a fantastic job, cleaned up after themselves and made sure that we were happy with the work. They made it so easy to have a new roof installed and their prices are very competitive. I would highly recommend them!

Redmond Roofing reroofed our house with heavy shake about a year ago. They also replaced two skylights. I was pleased with everything, including the quality of the shake, cleanup, etc. Earlier this week we discovered that bees had eaten through the liner of one of the skylights. It wasn't leaking, but bees were entering the house as the cold nights of winter approached.
I called Redmond Roofing and they came out two hours later -- I couldn't believe how quickly they responded. They sprayed something to get the bees to clear out and resealed the skylight. No charge, very gracious. which is why I'm finally writing a Yelp review. Thanks guys!

There are many excellent roofing companies in the Puget Sound region. When it came time to replace our home's roof, we explored multiple options and elected to contract Redmond Roofing's services because of multiple reasons: - Their reviews were excellent. We spoke with previous customers who were very pleased with their work. - Their pricing was very competitive and fair. - Bob (owner) is a very personable, responsive, patient and professional person.
Regarding the actual work they performed; once the work began, they worked hard, were on time and completed the project as scheduled. When we encountered unexpected problems (rotten areas) that required additional work, Bob explained why the extra work is required and didn't take advantage of our predicament. He was extremely fair with the final price of the whole project (roof removal, installation and unforeseen repairs). We highly recommend Redmond Roofing! Tal & Niva Journo (Woodinville)

Thank God for Redmond Roofing! After a recent storm we discovered a leak above our bathroom window. We called three companies. The first guy told us that it was too small a job for him and that we should find a handyman. Then two clowns from another company turned up and told me the issue was with our roof and we need to replace the entire roof (our roof is 10 years old and in good condition.
And they didn't even go up on the roof to try to find the leak.) Then Chris from Redmond Roofing came. We called them on a Saturday morning so didn't expect anyone until Monday or Tuesday at the earliest. Chris was at our house within 4 hours. He climbed up on the roof, found the leak and temporarily fixed it -- for NO CHARGE. He told us that they would order parts and come back to fix the leak the properly -- which they did and it cost about $300.
We haven't had an issue since. This is the only company I'm going to recommend to anyone who asks and when it does come time to replace my roof, I'll be calling them. Extremely professional and a great service. I'm a very happy camper!

I sat at home waiting for the estimator to show up for our appointment during a window of time which the company gave me. The window was 12:30 to 5:00, an unusually long window, don't you think? At 5:00, after waiting for the estimator (Chris) who had not shown up and had not called, I phoned the office. I was asked if I wanted to reschedule!

Bob and co. at Redmond Roofing completely exceeded my expectations. After purchasing a home and inspection coming back and saying that the roof would need to be replaced in 2-5 years, we thought we'd have a roof specialist come take a closer look. It turned out to be more urgent than that. So Redmond Roofing had someone out the next day to take some measurements and give a quote, which turned out to be MUCH lower than we expected.
We decided to move forward. Everything was seamless. The product selection was great, communication was a breeze, all of the guys who came out to work were very kind and professional, they even started the job about 4 weeks sooner than they'd originally estimated they could because there was a window in their schedule that they worked hard to squeeze us into. The job was finished early and under budget. Nothing but great marks, guys.

Crooks. They gave me an estimate with final price. I approved it, job was done very well. But after the job was done the three man crew said that estimate was wrong. So I have three guys, at the front door, demanding 1000$ more, and when I refused showing the estimate the conversation went far downhill. My kids were at home I didn't need this. I paid them and will not be coming back, even if they are the best business in town. I don't need such people near my family.

I called Redmond Roofing for a quote on some minor repair work to our roof. They scheduled a guy to come out to give us an estimate. First the guy never showed up. Then months later I got a bill for said work. I exchanged a few emails with Redmond Roofing they said the bill was taken care of. But then another month later they tried to collect AGAIN for work that was never preformed.

Well.where do I begin other than this company shines above all others, hands down. Had Bob and his team do a complete reroof, gutters, skylights and the works a couple of years ago and they performed on time and on budget. So fast forward to today and we have noticed some moisture recently on the ceiling around my fireplace.not good. So I called their office this morning, Dale showed up not long afterwards and then sent me some photos of a chimney covering that had come loose in a wind recently that he just went ahead and fixed.problem solved!
And the greatest thing about it was Redmond Roofing didn't install it, but fixed it anyway as part of their good old fashion customer care. This kind of service doesn't happen these days. UNLESS.Redmond Roofing has roofed your home!

I chose this company to repair a roof leak in our home because in my line of work (Solatube Skylight Dealer) I hear feedback from homeowners about a variety of roofers. Some companies make unnecessary recommendations. Some even charge more than needed for "extra services". Redmond Roofing does NOT. I always hear great things about them from our customers.
I have no problem referring them to our clients! All the staff from the ownership to the "front line" are friendly, knowledgeable and they are fairly priced for excellent quality work.
