At a time when it was almost impossible to get help (Covid), our roof sprang a leak. B&J Roofing came out before anyone else, diagnosed the problem, and had it fixed promptly. No more leak! Their bid of under $300 was $1000 less than another bid that was offered remotely (after merely looking at a photo of our roof). We don't need a new roof yet, but when we do, we will absolutely call B and J Roofing again.

Brian was extremely responsive. He is also a truly nice guy. It took a while for me to decide on the roofing material and he was very helpful throughout. I asked for and received a bid for each material that I was considering. The crew was pleasant, worked diligently, and did a great job. The entire process went smoothly and the results are excellent.

Highly recommend. The garden shed and my east-side neighbors' garden shed share a roof. My neighbors wanted to have their shed re-roofed at the same time as mine. Brian facilitated this process. Upon request, he broke down the charges according to square footage. Even though my neighbors were not his clients, he provided them with a separate warranty.

My neighbors were very pleased with how the whole thing worked out. A few weeks after the roof was finished we needed to have another roof opening created for a vent that had been overlooked. Even though it was not their fault that the vent was missed, Brian sent someone to create a new opening the same day at no extra charge. Because the stone chimney was being built up, the sequence of events had to be roofing, masonry, flashing, and then final masonry. Brian did not charge extra to return and flash the chimney. As soon as the mason was ready, a roofer appeared right on schedule to do the flashing.

Made an appointment with their receptionist a week prior, she requested some information and I sent this via email the same day. The day of the appointment came, and 20min before the scheduled appointment, the person who was scheduled to come called me and said based on the email and the information they were not coming. The person did not explain why, they said he'll email me something and said that he was getting another call and hung up. It was a frustrating experience.

We couldn't be happier with the result Brian and the B&J team has delivered. The communication with Brian was very smooth. He understood our requirements and communicated the solutions in an efficient manner with high integrity. With stories around dealing with irresponsible roofing companies or contractors with faked licenses, I was skeptical going into the project.

But B&J and the crew has earned my trust and confidence from the initial inspection to the finish of the project. Our old asphalt roof had reached the end of life. There are leaking marks in the living room so replacing with a new roof before this year's rain season became critical. We decided to go Metal. I interviewed 6 companies in the beginning. 3 of them, you can tell that they spent too much money on marketing and sales, so the quotes were unreasonably high. Brian finished the inspection in 30 minutes.

We asked quite a lot of questions and all were answered to our great satisfaction! We received a reasonable quote with no sales and marketing! We eventually chose B&J out of the other two because of the smooth and professional communication with Brian, the right pricing and a transparent term with NO overcharge. It took only a week or two to get on B&J's inspection schedule.

But because of their busy schedule in the summer, the actual project started in early October. Brian communicated the timeline very transparently. We understand the schedule. The crew came in on time and got the whole roof done in a week, right before the raining season. Brian and his team had also demonstrated what real customer service meant not just before the project was done, but even after.

A day later, I realized that the corner of the house had unusual dripping of the water. It turned out to be the clog of the corner downspout. Brian took our request with NO hesitation and came to help us wash everything clean. This is how a high integrity work looks like with hard work, customer driven care, kindness and passion of great work. Now we enjoy our new metal roof in the rain season with no worry of leakage. I am really proud of my choice and would recommend this company to any of my friend and family member.

Armed with limited budget, little remodel knowledge and zero construction skills, we bought a 110 year old Seattle house. It was the only house we could buy without 75 other offers. The dilapidated roof, along with everything else, needed replacement. It is impossible to determine, unless a roofer had xray vision, what deficits lurked beneath. As new homeowners, we did the usual checking of reviews and getting bids.

We had companies who would come look at it only if we agreed to listen to a 2-hours sales presentation afterwards. At some point, I reached B & J Roofing. Their estimate wasn't 'the cheapest'. What stood out was the level of detail and serious technical analysis that went into the B & J estimate. We're thankful we chose B & J because Brian and his on-site lead, Israel, tackled every problem conceivable from a 110 year old roof: multiple layers asphalt on top of cedar shingles with skip sheathing, no plywood, no venting, extensive rot, even vegetation growing out of the eaves. Brian was on top of the process the whole way through, and kept us informed, especially when new issues were uncovered with our ancient roof.

His troubleshooting gave us options for handling these issues without breaking the bank. Brian and team were a big part of the process in transforming an old house into our new home, and we would not hesitate to recommend them.

Great customer service, quality of work and clean up. The initial meeting with Brian and bid process was straightforward and fair. Guys showed up on time, worked extremely hard in 90* heat for 3 days to complete my roof job. They even replaced the metal work around one of my skylights- no charge. Roofing can be messy on your yard, I know this, so I was pleasantly surprised at the high level of clean up that these guys did. I appreciated it very much. Great experience all around, highly recommended.

B & J Roofing re-roofed my property in Redmond last summer, and I would like to recommend them to anyone. Before I finalized the roofing vendor, I asked for referrals from friends and requested quite few vendors to submit their bids. B & J is not the least expensive nor the most expensive vendor, but they won my contract as they are priced reasonably with very good reputation in this area and a long company history that's critical for me to make the final decision. B & J is also very organized and process-driven, just like any good engineering or construction contractors with solid pipelines and strong domain knowledge, which again, increases my confidence and trust for using them.

After signing the contract, they told me clearly what to expect and when they would start the roofing (3 weeks later), and they kept their promises to start the project on time and complete it on time without any surprise. David worked with me for the quote, Bill as the operation manager to schedule the project, Eunice to generate invoice and collect payment - all three of them work seamlessly as a team as well as their roofing crew.
