Bob Davis Fences was founded by Robert H Davis in 1946 and was family owned and operated thru 2001. Huckaby Enterprises Inc, owned and operated by Stan Huckaby who was an employee of the company, purchased the company in Sept of 2001 and continues to uphold the same standards and company values. Today we install custom cedar fencing as well as custom ornamental iron fencing, gates and access control systems.

Our company believes in customer satisfaction from start to finish. We strive to accommodate our customer's needs by providing quality workmanship, personal customer care and service on all products we install.

We use #1 select grade cedar with treated 2x4 support rails installed on SS20 steel posts which are dug and set in concrete. We also use a 2x6 treated base board for extra height, strength, and to protect the bottom of the fence.

Ornamental Iron

All of our ornamental iron is custom built right here in our shop. We purchase new primed material, when available, which adds one more layer of protection against the elements. We also us a heavier gauge material than most of our competitors, which increases the durability of your new fence.

Each and every gate we install has been custom built to fit the exact measurements of the gate opening. Once the hinge and latch posts are set in concrete, the installer takes the measurements and the gates are manufactured for a perfect fit. As with our ornamental iron fencing, we use only the highest quality of steel available to us.

We were supposed to have our gate serviced today. They called this morning and said we were the fourth in line. My husband took time off of work but they NEVER showed up. When he called the person on the phone was rude. When we said we were told we were fourth on the list, she said "well that was the plan but we can't get there today". Then she hung up on my husband.

We no longer want to do business with this company now or in the future. They are not dependable and their customer service person does not understand what "customer service" means.

We have had issue after issue dealing with this company. We called them out for our external sagging gate in the gated community of Casa Blanca. They charged us over $300 to rehang the gate. 3 days after rehanging the gate, it was sagging again. We called them back out. Each time it takes them 2 weeks to show up or give us a quote. They gave us a one line quote of $1,100 as they now stated that they have to rebuild the entire gate.

We asked if any price reduction has been done since they rehung the gate and charged us $300 initially, staying this would fix our issue. The response was, that has already been taken into account. Basically saying suck it without saying it. They are unprofessional and should not be used.

I have used them for 20+ years on my by now very old main entry gate. I guess sometimes is hard to be patient when needing quick service on a gate that secures your property, but they are typically out same day if call in morning, or next day. I have not had to buy much mechanically from them as I like to do as much of my own repair/maintenance as I can, but their pricing on service calls has seemed very fair to me. They have been around a long time, for good reason.
