The difference between our standard dog ear fence and most other fence companies is in the structural details. We use treated, 2x4, horizontal rails - to prevent sagging. We use.099, rib shank, Stainless Steel nails - which will hold your pickets in place and stand the test of time. We use galvanized poles and caps - we know better than to use wood poles.

When building your fence, we use.099, rib shank, Stainless Steel nails, which are 13% larger than 95% of the competition, prevent streaks and unsightly stains, and add extra protection from the natural acids in wood. Our fences are also built with #1 grade cedar pickets for added beauty and a better finish.

Iron

Report

While Custom built Wrought Iron is, in our opinion, more mechanically durable and much heavier duty, it needs to be maintained regularly. A light touch up every 3 to 4 years is necessary to prevent rusting. If this isn't done, the fence will need to be sanded down to the metal in some areas, primed, and painted every 10 years or so.

Love my new fence. After doing quite a bit of research I decided to go with Hardy Fence. Jason was a down to earth fellow who was a salesperson, but talked to you like he was your neighbor or uncle. He went over every option available and took time to answer all my questions. Work started at the agreed upon time, about a week after finalizing the deal, and took 1 day to demo.

Next day they came out and installed the new fence. Love the board on board. Truely is a sturdy well built fence. About 1-2 weeks later they came back out to stain it. This time frame is normal to let the fence dry a bit and air out before sealing it. I would recommend Hardy Fence to anyone needing a fence.

These guys are awesome, they built my fence / sliding gate over a period of 2 weeks even after a large rain storm.
