Turf-N-Tree

Previously they blocked our driveway without knocking to let you a know. Today the were cutting trees behind us and one of the branches fell on one of my wife's daycare kids. Again, no notification was given and we were home. Careless and dangerous.

As far as their work they did, it was good. But there is a much serious situation. A price was agreed upon to cut the tree low. Today instead of informing my daughter that the agreement cannot be met they continued to work on that tree until I realizeed they weren't going as low as they were supposed to. my daughter asked why and according to one of the individuals he said the city wouldn't allow them to.

So why did they not inform us before continuing tenuine? 1. that violates the agreement, so they owe us money for not doing what they agree to on that price on that price. 2. I called the city and they said there were no inquiries on that address for a tree.

Called to get an opinion on a tree's safety. They recommended that it was okay but an invasive species. We opted to have them remove it. Two days later it is gone - 30 ft tree down to a stump in 2 hours. Good price and great service. Thank you Scott.

Turf-N-Tree has been taking care of our tree for the past three years. Each year Scott and his team do not disappoint. We highly recommend this group of folks. The customer service is excellent and the guys on the crew are efficient, kind and respectful of the tree and the property.

Oscar was very responsive and easy to work with throughout the entire process. The crew did an amazing job transforming our front yard. Scope of working included masonry and retainer walls, lawn, plants, low voltage uplighting. Highly recommend!

Following up since August and they promised to give appointment on Nov. Now when it reached October, i followed upti check if the appointment is still there, then they said its ck firmed for Nov 6th with Oscar. Two weeks back, i called them up and they msntioned I need to engage their designer and she will call me after two days. We didnt receive any calls after two days and when i follow up again, they mention that the designer is not under their control even though their website mentiom about designer services.

They mentioned i cant get their architect appointment as well now. Lack of communication between their front reps Laura and Christie and very unprofessional attitude and service. Not recommended.

Scott does a great job. His people are very professional. They trimmed 6 of my trees, three in the front yard and three in the back and they left my yard spotless. We have used Tree-N-Turf for several years and would not hesitate to highly recommend Tree-N-Turf.

Came out same day and got the job done quickly and efficiently. They even cut up the tree they removed and left it for us as fire wood. Overall very easy to work with and all the staff was pleasant.

This company is amazing. The men that performed the tree trimming are very hard working and get the job done quickly. They work as a unit and communicate with each other and waste no time. Scott came out years ago and checked and pruned our Sugar Pines and did an excellent job! Also checked our CA Redwoods for any diseases and they were healthy he said! I trust Scott & his team and they give 5 Star Outstanding Service every time! I highly recommend him! Will you him again

I contacted Turf-N-Tree because they have a certified arborist on staff! I have some ornamental trees I don't really know how to take care of. Scott came out and talked to me about proper care of all the trees in my yard! It was a reasonable fee and I am very happy with the quick, friendly and informative service.

Scott and Jerri are amazing. The initial dialogue of discovery through the jobs completion, all was textbook top rate. Pricing was more than fair and when the job was done, they left the site cleaner than when they arrived. I couldn't have been more impressed and I'm very critical of proper service. When Scott and his team arrived to get the numerous trees pruned and additional planting of new trees done, it's a process they've mastered that's awesome to witness. The safety too, on point. I contacted 4 providers via Yelp. Turf N Tree was one of 2 to respond to the quote request and actually followed up after our follow initial conversation-that he had a cancellation and could come a week earlier! We had a new fence installed the week prior and the workers took great care to ensure the fence wasn't damaged, removed all stumps and debris! GREAT JOB! Thank you!

Critical:Professionalism This company has no respect for times they start and wake everyone up at 7-7:30am with their machines and wood chippers. There are laws against the time you are allowed to make noise, they need to follow it. Also, people are still asleep and some work at nights. If you want a company that doesn't respect that this is the one for you.

RAVE.RAVE.RAVE to Turf-N-Tree! What an amazing locally owned company to work with, from their office team, crews onsite to the owner, Scott. Provided service that they promised, and went outside of the box to provide other services that one would not have expected. 2 crews were assigned to my project and Scott was there the whole time! 12 trees were taken out.

The team was very respectful to my property and neighbors. Half of the day was taking down the trees and the other half of the day the crew was cleaning up. Highly recommend Turf-N-Tree for all your professional landscaping needs.

Wow! Scott came out and estimated the job yesterday, and the crew was here today! Huge backyard tree removed and stump grinded. We hired Scott and his team to cut down six trees and remove about 8-9 stumps for us. The price was very reasonable and the team did a fantastic job. Working with Scott up to the day of the work was a pleasure. He was upfront and honest and helped us navigate making big changes to our yard. On the day of the work, the Turf-N-Tree team showed up and worked diligently to keep our property safe and quickly got the work done.

Oscar and his team did a great job on our front yard landscaping and our backyard paver project. Oscar and his crew from Turf-N-Tree were amazing from start to finish on the install execution of our J&D Landscape designed front yard refresh. The Turf-N-Tree (TNT) crew always maintained a clean work site, showed up when they said they would, and the finished product is absolutely amazing. Every little detail, fit and finish, and overall execution is top notch. TNT was referred to us by the landscape designer we worked with to come up with the overall scheme. Oscar executed the plan's vision with precision and even added some of his own finessed details and adjustments as needed based on the constraints of the yard.

Have a protected city tree in our front yard, creating havoc/danger leading to our home and driveway. With the expertise of Oscar, of Turf-n-Tree, we came up with a great plan to fix the obstacles and also extend driveway and added border and stamping upgrades and replaced irrigation system. Oscar and his team were very professional and did a great job in a timely manner and kept everything clean at the end of each day. We are very pleased with the finished product and can't wait to finish the rest of the landscaping ourselves

Asked them to plant a maple. Unfortunately I was not home when it was done, otherwise I would have not accepted such a nasty tree! The tree was damaged and looked like it had been grown against a wall. All the branches were on one side and were bent at a 90 degree angle. My husband had to stand over the guy to get him to dig the hole big enough to fit the roots in. They damaged our gate. I tried to get in touch with them to change out the tree and fix the gate. They never called me back. NEVER again.

Was able to fit us in on short notice when a branch broke and became a hazard. Very thorough job with fair pricing. Will absolutely be utilizing their services again!

Our experience with Turf N Tree was top notch. They were open with ideas and possible cost savings right from the start on our backyard project. Which was awesome. The design they came up with was exactly what we wanted, and then they executed it promptly. Great experience over all. We had them tear out old concrete, put in new concrete, put in a BBQ island and re-do our planter. Everything came out great.

Scott and Jeri work individually or as an amazing team. I have been a client of theirs for more than 10 years, at various homes and for various reasons. Scott, a certified arborist has tended to my trees. He has cared for large heritage oaks to routine pruning/thinning of other trees, as needed. His knowledge is abundantly obvious. Jeri designed my beautiful yard, after hearing my thoughts and ideas.

She listened - her focus seemed to be how she could help, rather than making it all business. They are both skilled and personable with great customer service and an outstanding work ethic. I highly recommend Turf-N-Tree and will continue to call them in the future!

My first contact with Turf and Tree was three years ago. Scott showed up on time, answered my questions, gave me an estimate and set the date for completion. I was most impressed that when I pointed out two birch trees I though needed trimming, Scott declined. He told me that doing any work on those trees would be stealing my money because they were healthy, well shaped naturally and needed no work.

That kind of honesty make me call him back this year for some additional work. Just like the first visit, it was quick, professional, and well done. The crew is hard working, capable, careful and quick. I will call them next time too.
