We have used Kaminer for many years. We always have excellent service and very skilled techs. This is our second AC system they have installed (this is home #2 we've lived in) and we are always appreciative of their work. Services: Installation, Install AC, Repair HVAC

Every single employee from Kaminer was extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. They literally saved us! We inherited a home and unfortunately many of the appliances were not kept up with in years past. One of those things was our A/C, and right as the hot weather hit this year, our A/C started acting strange and we found out the previous installation was completely improper and now on the brink of collapse. Subcontractors were used by the previous owner and we were unable to track down the folks who installed the unit for warranty purposes.

Short story long, Kaminer heating and cooling came out, diagnosed the problems, explained everything in a way that made perfect sense, and within 2 weeks we are now up and running with a brand new A/C and completely repaired duct work from the former company's mistakes. Just in time for the rest of this SC summer. They stand behind their work and the warranty options on parts and labor plus yearly maintenance are affordable and so worth it.

We had been told by another hvac company we had issues with our 4 year old unit and they had been the only service company we had ever used and never in the previous 4 years was told of any issue and now told we need 4-7k worth of work. So we decided its time for a second opinion called in Kaminer Heating and Cooling and met with Cayce, and am I thankful we did call Kaminer.! Cayce was polite and very knowledgeable and actually sat down and took time to explain all of his findings in terms we could understand.

Everyone on the Kaminer team did a great job! From evaluating the situation and keeping me informed through each step of the process. They removed the old unit in the attic on a day with 97 degree weather. They went above and beyond what I would have expected and didn't leave until the job was completed, close to 10:00pm! They have been my "go to" company for many years and will be for many years to come. I purchased a service contract with this company, so they have been my default when I have an issue with my heating or cooling system. It is always an issue reaching someone in the office. The message says that it is after regular business hours even when you call during the stated business hours. It is very difficult to get ahold of anyone and the "on call" person doesn't have any info and can't help, only "pass your info/request along." When you finally get someone to come out, they are always trying to upsell unneeded service. On my last diagnostic visit, the technician told me "he didn't know what was wrong but it was going to cost $700 to fix it."

Thanking Kaminer for our air conditioning maintenance. Dennis came and was extremely efficient. Not only did he service the unit, he also noticed a leak under the house. Because of this we can call a plumber and have a problem taken care of before it gets too bad. Called Kaminer for the first time to see if they could fix my A/C unit which wasn't cooling our upstairs. Not only did they come out the same night, they fixed the problem and got me on a maintenance plan for any future situations. I have been a customer of Kami era for 30 plus years...if that tells you anything! Being a Monday, I had some issues that I called about first thing and they scheduled Dennis to come over before lunch - luckily I had off today. Once Dennis assessed the problem, he was able to go get the
Art needed and to let me know I also had a plumbing issue under the house...so, luckily I was able to get that problem resolved also. All in all...everything is good and I have some heat back on - hard to believe I am needed heat in April!!!

It's so nice to have someone calling with that gentle reminder to have your unit checked on before the next season comes around. I recently was given a quote by Chris from Kaminer. Very professional. Very well informed and really laid out all the options very well. He wore shoe covers before coming in the house! Although I decided to go with another company, I was very impressed by Kaminer's many options and how professional their representative was. Call them. You will be impressed as well.

Called Kaminer to have them check our air conditioning unit. The following day, the technician thoroughly examined the unit outside, checked duct work, coils, etc. Pricing was fair and clearly explained. Technician was courteous and friendly. My air handler on my furnace started making noise at the end of the afternoon on Wednesday and my wife shut it off and called me. When I came home it would not start back up so I called Kaminer whose program I decided to sign up for after having them out a couple of times. The got someone to me by 5 o'clock and diagnosed the problem was a motor failure and even had a motor on the truck that could fix the problem. Robert was my specialist and was very professional and polite as well as patient with my questions. He really knew what he was doing and got it done. Also kudo's to the inside staff who made it happen.

I was surprised when I initially called in and they were willing to schedule someone to come at between 7p, -10pm. But I was even more surprised when they called back and said they had someone that could by around 5:30pm instead.

That said, as for maintenance, Walt Andrews has taken care of all units in my home, my offices and my mother's home for many years now. I can't imagine anyone else as knowledgeable, professional, neat and just plain nice and personable as Walt. He's also a top notch problem solver if the necessity arises. Because the service I get from Kaminer and Walt feels truly personal, I wouldn't call anyone else. They've earned their fine reputation.
