I used Chicago Windows & Doors to install two storm doors (one custom sized) in the back of our house. Kris went above and beyond at every level - came out right away for a bid (I was surprised at how few places will order and put in a storm door only), because of the rehabbed nature of the place, it was a lot of work, it was a ton more work than he had bid, he was good natured about it, did it on our schedule, and most importantly, it looks and works great. Would definitely use again!

Chicago Windows & Doors are an excellent company and I can not recommend them highly enough. We have struggled for many years with a solution to the weathering of the exposed windows at the top floors of our six-flat building. The builder should have originally used aluminum windows but cut costs and used wood which are far more difficult and expensive to maintain. Chicago Window and Doors came up with a stellar solution to cap the windows, saving us quite a bit of money in not having to replace them.
They are professional, responsive and highly competitive. The work was dome with great craftsmanship and in a timely manner. The final job looks great and thus far all of our leaks have stopped. They are a wonderful company to deal with and we are lucky we found them!

Ordering doors for a 14 unit condo building that hadn't replaced doors in 25 years. Had a lot of back and forth between 14 owners and finally got to the point after working on volume pricing for months that we were ready to order! Kristopher Greene at Chicago Windows and Doors told us he would be leaving the window business and wouldn't be able to complete the project.
But we'd get a referral to a new company. Apparently we did get a referral but how does that help after we have to renegotiate all the volume pricing? Plus I see they are still open. Pretty unprofessional to say the least when we finally got through the hard part and he was ready to make the revenue. I would not recommend working with Chicago Windows & Doors.

We were referred to them by our building engineer and had to replace our windows on the 10th story. The old ones we had were very large and were in bad shape. After we had the initial consultation with them, they coordinated everything with the building engineers to make sure we were putting in the right replacement windows.

We moved to Chicago into a mid-rise and apparently have commercial windows. After doing some of my own research and talking to our property manager, they recommended this company for replacement windows. Our old ones were very heavy to operate and the seals in the glass were shot. We obtained a quote from them and another company. From what I've heard, window replacement companies can be a hit or miss.
He wrote up the quote for us while at our place. They were a bit more expensive than the other company, but we decided to go with them because they were a referral and seemed more professional. The whole process was very involved but we are happy with the final product.

We replaced double-hung and casement windows throughout our whole house, and i couldn't be happier. The product they provided looks and works great, and their installation was painless. The crew was very friendly and they happily answered any question my husband would ask them. We have done a lot of work to our house and working with contractors can be frustrating, but these guys were polite and friendly.
