My roof needed replacement after an early summer hail storm this year. I contacted Santex and spoke to co-owner Alonso. We established a meeting time and he was at my home on time. After review of the roof damage he explained what needed to be done and answered all my questions. We established a time to begin the work. His crew came out and completed the worked in one day. There were some hiccups but he quickly corrected them plus he would not accept payment until all was completed. Totally satisfied.

We had Santex Roofing replace our roof and we were very impressed with the whole process. Alonso (co-owner) was responsive to our initial inquiry, always on time to our arranged meetings and very professional throughout the whole process. Communication was thorough and consistent. The price we paid for our roof was well below two other quotes we had received from two reputable companies here in San Antonio.

The actual replacement only took one day and the crew was very professional and friendly. They took the time to do the little things like sending us pictures and putting tarps around the entire perimeter of our house and over our landscaping to catch nails and then do a magnet sweep after to catch any strays. When they made a mistake they were honest about it, apologetic and fixed it within two hours that same day. Alonso also came to do a final inspection 3 days later and to provide further details about why the mistake they made occurred (primarily a builder shortcoming). Overall, we found it very refreshing to have a company show up for meetings on time, communicate well and follow through on what they promised. We wholeheartedly recommend their services.

I can't say enough great things about Alonso and his team! Alonso went above and beyond with my clients roof. We called him out just to inspect to make sure there wasn't water coming in near the fireplace & although there wasn't, he still was there resealing spots to reinsure no water could get in to put the buyers mind at ease. I had my roof done approximately 5 years ago. I called about water leak around fireplace a few years ago. They called back but really never called again to come and check it out. I hired someone else. Now, I have water damage due to lack of flashing around upstairs window. I'm annoyed. I would recommend another roofing company. Dont get tricked with that lifetime warranty either. They need to check their worker's job better!

My house was hit by a tornado last spring. SANTEX was there for me when I needed help. SANTEX roofers came out the next day and immediately secured the roof with a protective cover/barrier to avoid further damage to my property. Once I selected the roofing materials I wanted, they quickly and efficiently repaired and rebuilt my roof. This is the second time my family has utilized SANTEX to repair our properties due to storm damage. SANTEX always responds in a timely manner and provides excellent roof repairs with a professional crew. Completion of the projects were on schedule and cost. All repairs were explained in a professional manner. Roof looks outstanding!

Great work, helped walk me through the insurance process and get a beautiful roof. They also helped upgrade my roof with ridge vents and other vents to help with ventilation. Even the color recommendation was spot on! I highly recommend calling them for roofing needs and support a local SA company.

Alonso with Santex roofing was beyond great! I needed my roof repaired within a few weeks to maintain coverage with my home owners insurance and he went out and inspected my room the same day I called them! Within a few days we were scheduled and our roof was fixed! He provided all the pictures and documentation I needed! Alonso was prompt and even texted me to keep me updated throughout the process! My roof was getting old and I was looking for a reasonable price and quality work. I got a couple of estimates that were higher than I liked. I called Santex Roofing and the owner Alonzo gave me an estimate that was in my budget. The work was done very professionally and better than I expected. Every nail and piece of roofing was picked up and taken away. Have Alonso give you an estimate you will be glad you called them.

Santex did a great job, professional, courteous crew, great looking roof. This is our 3rd roof replacement in the past 25 years, by far the best. Alonso kept us updated regarding delivery of materials and start date, came by often on check on the progress, Alonso Sr. came by also just to meet the customers.

I had issues with getting Santex Roofing to do Warranty work. the Warranty stated 25 years parts and labor. - There were curling shingles visible right after installation 2 years ago. They convinced me that sun and time would make them lie down. - Recently, those shingles (and other issues) were blockers to selling the house that I agreed to have fixed prior to closing. - It took 6 calls to them to get any live person on the phone (I left messages on both phone numbers listed on the card). - The owner's wife answered the sixth call.

She asked me to email information to the owner. - 10 days and 3 phone calls later, I got ahold of him - he admitted treating my email as spam. He did review the inspection photos while we were on the phone, stating that some of the work MIGHT be covered by warranty and promised to get me an estimate by the end of the week. It has now been over a month and I am still waiting on that response. - 2 more phone call/voice messages later (I want to emphasize that they NEVER called me back during this process) I gave up. - I went to another roofer to avoid losing the sale of my house and paid $1500 for the repairs. I advise against using Santex Roofing, even if you can get ahold of them. Their Warranty means nothing.

Excellent service from Alonzo (owner) and Diego (foreman). Materials delivered when they were scheduled for and crew showed up on time. This crew worked in the blistering sun and finished the job in a day and a half. I am not your average customer i.e. I will look over and observe closely any hired person(s) working on our home (our largest investment) I will even take pictures of the work being done with occasional videos of the job progression.

This was tolerated well by the business. Alonzo was very accommodating and level-headed. At the end of the day from one hard-working man to another, one only wants fairness / equity on behalf of both parties and this is exactly what transpired. Quality work for premium compensation.

In 1993,w e had hail damage on our former residence. We found Mr. Lopez and Santex Roofing at a home near ours. We asked him to come by and give us an estimate. Mr. Lopez gave us the addresses of several house he had just re-roofed, and we talked to those home owners. After hearing what those home owners had to say, we contracted with Mr. Lopez to do our roof.

Fast forward to 2017 - we were getting ready to go solar, but needed a new roof, prior to the installation of the solar panels. We were so glad to see Santex Roofing is alive and well - so we gave them a call. Mr. Lopez remembered our house, remembered my husband and gave us a bid for the roof. It was completed in one day and the site was immaculately cleaned. We also had him re-roof our former house. His prices are fair and reasonable; his crew is fast and professional. Excellent, efficient and professional. The hail storms of 2016, as for most of South Texas, were brutal to my roof structure and covering. Santex did an incredible job in repairing several leaks, replacing/repairing several flashing concerns, and brought all that together with a better attic ventilation. I got the runaround from another company last year, even lost some money on the deal. I should have called Santex from day 1. They did the roof replacement in one day while I was out at work. They even installed some static roof vents and replaced some plywood. Santex really took the headache out of the roof replacement process that had been dragging on too long. Alonso and the guys at Santex came in and got it done quickly and left no mess behind. These guys are no nonsense, honest folks. Give 'en a call. You won't regret it.

Highly recommend! From estimate to clean-up, I had an excellent experience with Santex staff. Great communication via both phone and text with Mr. Gallo. Nice polite crew showed up at the very minute they said they'd be here, and their number was adequate for 1-day removal and replacement of a huge roof. They did a meticulous clean-up afterward. Very fair price.

I attempted in May to get an estimate. They took my information and said someone would contact me within a week to schedule which was odd. It's June and still no call. This is why so many companies from out of town are getting so much work.

Called this company to have my roof repaired. The woman assured me they would call me back to set up an appointment. A few days went by with no response. I called again and left a message to please call me back to schedule an appointment.

Replaced roof shingles with Owens Corning 25 yr warranty, approx. 27 squares in just one day. Removed wind turbines and installed 5 static metal attic vents (so I don't have to get up on the roof again), Two other companies didn't even know about these metal vents. They also replaced and resealed all pipe base flashing, roof jacks and valley metals.

The crew really sweep the yard with a magnet looking for nails. The only one I found was under their trailer after they left. The owner Alonso Lopez was great. Professional, on-time, kept me informed all along the way. I was concerned about weak decking under the roof but they didn't find any rotten boards and didn't need to replace any plywood. Santex Roofing was also the lowest of three different bids I received. I would highly recommend them!
