My A/C unit went out a couple months ago. I did my research and got 3 bids before making my decision. I choose EHS because they presented me with options, they were fair in the cost of what I needed to have done, and were the most professional. I am in sales, and I can see an up-sell a mile away. With this company there was no pressure, just pure explanation of what the options were and what I could expect with each one. The crew that did the installation was professional and quick. They were recommended to me by my neighbor, and I will pass it forward.

I called EHS and quickly recieved a scheduling for technician to come to the house and diagnose my problem. A part had to be ordered and was installed the day the part was picked up. The technician was friendly as well as knowledgeable and for sure had my best interest on the table. i highly recommend this company for any HVAC work!

I can't say enough good stuff about Efficient Home Solutions. My family has been with them for years and don't see that changing any time soon. Mark is amazing! He came by to do our spring inspection and I told him while he was here I was having some challenges with my nest thermostats losing power recently. He added the needed wire to all three and they're back online and the battery status is higher than it's been in a while. Thanks so much for Mark and for being such a great company!

This review is about true customer service. I found this company through Angie's list. We are currently in an unprecedented winter storm, and my heater has not been working for the past 2 days. I am a single mom with two young boys. Mr. Rivera called me to schedule a time for his servicemen to come out to help me the following day. Before we hung up, Mr. Rivera went through a differential diagnosis of what could be wrong with my heater.
When he mentioned that the filter could be a problem, I told him that my filter had not been changed in a very long time. Knowing that the temperature is going to get down to 5 degrees Farenheit tonight and knowing that I have 2 young boys, Mr. Rivera offered to FaceTime me, and he ended up guiding me through the whole process on how to take the filter out In order to clean it.
Once I was able to take the filter out, I ended up washing the filter in my bathtub, and then I put it back in. Now, thanks to Mr. Rivera's help, my heater is working perfectly, My boys and I are incredibly grateful for his help. Because he truly cares about his customers, my boys and I are going to be able to sleep comfortably tonight. This company is the very best.

They told me it would cost almost $400 (on top of the $50 you pay just for them to come out) to replace a part that costs $30 to buy yourself and doesn't require much skill or experience to install yourself. When I asked why it was so much I was told that was just the price of the part. They also wanted to charge an additional $350 for a part that wasn't needed. Would give 1 star, but since they told me which part was broken I was able to go to a store and buy it for $30 and install it myself.

Our upstairs A/C quit but I hadn't yet found an A/C business I could trust. Others we called for general service attempted to upsell with shady diagnosis. I'm en engineer and usually can tell when I'm being sold a bill of goods. We did a quick Angie's List search and found Efficient Home Solutions in Plano, TX. The tech showed up the same day and quickly diagnosed the problem.
He was fast, thorough and very professional. He answered my questions kindly and accurately, and fixed the issue quickly. The service charge was extremely reasonable. At no time did he try to take advantage of us being in a hot house in the TX heat. EHS has earned a loyal customer! I highly recommend this honest and professional company to you.

If there were ten stars it wouldn't be enough!l In dealing with HVAC companies over the years, I have never dealt with a company with such integrity, honesty and just plain sincerity, from the girls who answer the phones, to the tech Rocky, to the install team, and finally to the owner of the company, David. This company is exceptional! They have gone above and beyond helping me - from getting a coil installed in the attic to having a weld fixed in the outside unit - they did it all.
When I didn't think I could handle one more second of bad news, Rocky was there for me. He actually asked me if I needed a hug - and boy did I. They deal with you on a one-on-one basis, they're extremely honest and with me, so generous. David returned my calls, day or night and weekends with no delay. They are exceptional in their relationships with their customers, plus they are a company dedicated to doing an excellent job - every install, every leak, everything they do. I am a repeat customer, and I used their service a second time for my rental home. The previous day of the service I had recycled the heating unit. When the service engineer arrived, we go into the home and discovered the unit was working as expected. Still, I got charged the $79 fee. Tried reasoning out with the owner, but they wouldn't budge for reducing the charges. I will not use you guys again!

Efficient Home Solutions was the saving grace for our home in this hot summer! This was the first summer in our new house and we learned not only that the AC unit and furnace were too small but also that the original owners made a garage conversion that wasn't fully connected to the HVAC system! David made recommendations to put in additional ducting/venting that has made a world of difference to air circulation and helped us pick AC/furnaces that were both efficient and didn't break the bank. The house now feels like a fridge for half the electric cost! Thanks David and EHS team!

I wanted to share this review with my fellow Yelpers, as Efficient Home Solutions is the very best AC service company I have used. After having another company tell me I needed a new A coil, due to a restriction - Roque came out and checked my refrigerant levels - and all I needed was 3 lbs. My outside unit was freezing up due to low refrigerant! What a concept! Anyway, this firm runs an honest and reputable business.
They show up on time, and do not try to upsell or price gouge you on anything. They are also certified to sell and repair Lennox and Carrier units, and are very competitive with their pricing. If you need your AC serviced, I would highly recommend this firm!

Efficient Home Solutions was extremely accommodating to get everything arranged, set up and installed within 3 days in the middle of a heat wave. David and Ben were especially diligent in making sure the house was prepared and arranged for our full AC/Furnace replace and Attic insulation work and were on-hand to ensure that our house looked like noone had ever been there.
The house was spotless after installing the furnace, insulation, and all of the additional vent work! They made great recommendations to increase airflow in the house by adding return and supply vents in specific points to ensure we have proper air circulation throughout the entire house. It's only been a few days but our house is significantly cooler and quieter thanks to the recommendations they made!

Very happy with the service I got from Efficient Home Solutions. I work at a business where the A/C went out over the weekend. I needed to get someone out ASAP to assess and after getting daunted by the sheer number of options for HVAC companies, I logged onto yelp and used their tool where they can have contractor reach out to set up a visit. Efficient Home Solutions responded so quickly to my query, and had a tech out very quickly- on a Saturday!
The tech (Armand) was super knowledgeable about what was going on and was able to provide us with an assessment and a totally fair price for the scope and time that was required to get the job completed. Every step of the way Efficient Home Systems was professional, prompt and great to work with. Would definitely use them again!

One of our air conditioners decided to go out. Unfortunately we did not realize it until bedtime. We contacted Efficient Home Solutions and they stated they could come by later that night. We agreed. Everyone in the house had gone to be except me when the Rocky arrived. He assessed the situation quickly, determined the solution, presented me with my options and he fixed the unit.
We were up and running that night. The next morning my family couldn't believe that we had it fixed while everyone was asleep. I would recommend Efficient Home Solutions to anyone/anytime. They have phenomenal customer service, outstanding knowledge and are extremely trustworthy. We wouldn't use anyone else except Efficient Home Solutions!

I had them come out to evaluate our HVAC system. The inspection showed that the 2 systems had only about half of the necessary return air ducts necessary for proper operation. Work was scheduled to add a return air duct to each system. The crew arrived on time. The work was completed in a timely manner. The house was left clean and undamaged. I would recommend them to anyone. Our system now runs less and it is more comfortable.

So David and Jeff did an amazing job on our new AC units. On their initial visit, they came out at 9:30 pm on the WEEKEND to get our old AC up and running in the heat of summer. Amazing and unexpected level of customer service. We later decided, after taking bids and meetings with multiple companies, to have 2 units installed for our home by Efficient Home Solutions.

We received fast, efficient and friendly service. Edmond ( forgive me if I spelled your wrong) was through in getting our AC up and running and explaining what was going on with them. One unit is up and running but the other unit that I have is still needing some work done to it but he explained it and gave us different price options has well. He was also very patient with my dog who is sometimes acts like more of a grumpy old man then a dog. Also, Edmond even removed all the old air filters from my attic and throw them away for me. So very awesome service received!

My air unit blew up in triple digit temps and I was leaving town in 3 days. After multiple promises from my Home Warranty company to send someone out to no avail, I started calling several vendors from across the country. I am so grateful to EHS for coming out late on a Sunday eveing to replace my unit. My pets and my family were suffering for days and I felt helpless on the east coast.

David from Efficient Home Solutions is honest and forthcoming about costs and products. And even when he misspoke about a price, he actually honored what he had originally quoted us. He's very responsive and came out when he said he would and got right to work and did what he said he'd do. He was never pushy or trying to sell more things to us.

I chose to try this company based on reviews and I'm glad I did. The person answering the phone was friendly and easy to understand. They followed up our conversation in writing with an email. They gave me a 2 hour arrival window (not an all day time frame like some others). The tech called me in advance and arrived on time. He evaluated my problem quickly and got my system working.
This is a company with a focus on customer service and not high pressure sales. I will keep this company on speed dial and recommend them to my friends and neighbors. Update: 7/2016 - My air conditioner stopped working so I called EHS again to see if their good service was a fluke or if it is how they do business. I'm happy to report that they still provide great service.
The repairman was polite and quickly diagnosed the issue. He gave me options on repairing the system. He took pride in his work and made sure the wiring was secured neatly in the panel. I also received a phone call from the owner of the company asking how my service call went. I don't trust many service companies but I won't hesitate to call these guys again. I'm very happy with the service.

AC was supposedly fixed last night around 6pm. Paid the tech and then AC malfunctions at 9am next day 9:17am Call to get a tech to fix what was supposedly fixed less then 24 hours ago and are told tech can be here by 2pm or they can refund me Told them I'd call back after speaking to my husband. 9:29am call back to have a tech come and am told they can't be here until 3-5.
As I'm talking to Mary I ask her to explain how a paid customer is not being put as an immediate need. She the explains how they were booking up appointments from the time we last spoke to the time I was then on the phone with her. I also asked her why I was being treated like I was a new customer who hadn't already paid for work done and all she could say was "sorry" and kept talking over me about how she can refund me.
Best part? She told me as we were talking the time I could be seen had jumped to 8pm Great customer service. Sad to see a customer who paid for a service is not any type of priority and that you don't stand by your work We have a 3 month old. I spoke personally with the owner, David Rivera who ensures his business responds to the needs of the customer. For the issues I was having with my fan motor, his technicians, Jessie and Vincent diagnosed the problem and provided the best possible service. Unfortunately, the brand new motor from Lennox was defective.
