Our other AC company was bought by someone and they were unreliable. Suburban stepped up and saved us twice! The other company failed to show when we needed a new thermostat for my MIL's and Suburban came and saved the day. Then, today, our own AC unit stopped working and Suburban found a way to fit us in! Thank you!

Trustworthy with complex residential projects. Researched and gathered bids from top HVAC experts in Dallas as we needed to replace and re-engineer very old systems in our house. We are perfectionists and the professionals from Suburban Heating & Air really exceeded our expectations. We like to upgrade/improve the quality on any project we take on.
They listened to our vision and measured and assessed the job and promptly provided a thorough bid with experienced perspectives on the appropriate Carrier systems for our solution. They replaced all aspects of our systems and even rebuilt return air duct work. Air purification, WiFi integrated mobile thermostats to collect diagnostic information, quiet compressors and re-engineered air flow to ensure adequate air flow to various rooms. These guys (Tracy and Perry and team) showed up on time and treated our house and our family with great care. We highly recommend Suburban Heating and Air.

Darrin was our technician for a recent service call and was fantastic. He was highly professional and courteous, helpful, and the charges were very reasonable. Surburban was recommended by our next door neighbor because they have a 20 year history with them and are happy. Count us as another highly satisfied customer. We will be calling again.

Charles & Suburban Are The Best. Before Charles, Don ran the company. He was great too. For I would say 50-60 years, Suburban has installed and serviced about 25 properties for me and my family. Multiple new installs. Multiple checks and repairs. I trust them so much, I have left my key under a rock so they could get in and work when I was away. No, they are not the cheapest, they are most DEFINITELY not the highest either.
They are licensed, insured, professional and trustworthy and stand by their work. Charles will tell you like it is. He is also reachable on the weekend - who DOES that in 2019? When my frugal grandmother starting buying small rent houses decades ago, she looked for bargains - but she never once considered moving away from Suburban Heating & Air, even though an individual would have been cheaper. Yes, they have charges for travel etc - just like EVERY OTHER COMPANY. They're coming by my house today. One of the guys came by last week on his way home on a Friday night. These are good people.

I just posted this to our Nextdoor neighborhood loop. Hello Neighbors, I would like to highly recommend Suburban Heating and AC Co. (right off of Lawnview, 214.381.1127, Since 1967)! The employees, Tracey and Darrin, were very courteous, knowledgeable, fast, provided a warranty and cheaper than quoted! We were highly impressed! My wife and I had a complete HVAC system put in around 3 years ago from a friend of a friend.
Our system's airflow wasn't as cold last month and we had problems getting the installer to call back, so we got two bids. We chose Suburban and they took care of us and went above our expectations! They are great people with excellent service and at a great price! I highly recommend them! Thanks, Cody

These guys are crooks! I don't even know where to begin. First, I have 3 AC units in my building and one of them was messed up. I told the tech what was wrong and he told me it was an easy fix with a $56 part. I then get an invoice for $447! When I spoke to the owner he said I had to pay for a guy to sit in the truck to watch their supplies. Why am I paying for somebody to sit in the truck to watch your supplies?
It's called locking the doors. If someone breaks into your truck you have insurance. They also charged me 45 minutes of labor for them to drive here. The business is only 10 minutes away. That's why I chose them, because they were so close. Even with traffic it should take no longer than 20 minutes to get to where my business is. They also tried to charge $74 in tax on $312 labor equaling in 23.71% tax rate.
When I asked the owner about this he said "it's how we do business". Also, on the invoice they said they checked my other units, but why? I told him exactly what was wrong with which unit. There is no need to check my other working units. When I asked why he spent so much time on units that weren't broken the owner said "they didn't look at your other units." When the invoice clearly states that he checked my other units.
In the end these guys are crooks and will try their hardest to overcharge you and squeeze you for all your worth. I would think that it would be important for them to want to get me to be a recurring customer for them but in an effort to make an extra $217.13 (the amount the owner and I came up with for being overcharged) they lost a customer for life. I work in a 91 year old building with 2 AC units over 15 years old and am constantly needing work done. They just lost my business.

My family and I have been doing business with Suburban Heating & Air for decades. This involves approximately 25 properties and/or units over 5 decades. First, Don owned the company. Now, I think Charles (who was around back in the day too) owns the company. They've grown. They're a big business, and they charge all the same rates any other licensed, insured company charges - travel time, etc. Complaining about that as this one guy has on these reviews is unfair.
If they made a mistake on an invoice, they'll fix it - that doesn't mean they're crooks. They're anything BUT crooks. Suburban is GREAT at what they do - whether installation, repairs, troubleshooting. I haven't called on a weekend in a long time - but anytime I have in the past, Charles himself answers the phone. The company is so trustworthy - I leave my key under the mat or rock for them to do the work when I am not home.
I had a home warranty for a number of years and had to use the warranty company to keep costs down on appliance repair - but I always, always called Suburban out (and paid for it) to double check what the warranty company verdict was.
