We recently bought a new furnace from Project Heating and Cooling. We are well pleased by our experiences with everyone with Project Heating and Cooling. Our salesman was Ken York. He was very professional. There was no high pressure sales pitch. He laid out several options for the purchase of our new furnace. The technicians arrive on time and are always professional.
They give you a one hour time frame and arrive within that time. Today I had Dan check the air conditioning per our service contract. He is great in finding a solution to any service problem you may have. I would definitely recommend Project Heating and Cooling.

Contracted the company for a yearly maintenance program. The technician who responded for the service (Farshid) was very thorough, professional, and patient to respond to questions I had about my system. He even offered suggestions on how we can get better performance out our system. Very satisfied with his service and this maintenance program.

I was very pleased with the product as well as the work done to complete the job. Everyone I worked with was courteous and professional. The condenser lines from AC compressor to "A" coil was ran at a diagonal across my utility room. The original lines followed the oute wall, then crossed. I don't like the new lines hanging over my washer and dryer.

Project Heating and Cooling installed a new heat pump for our home. They were able to obtain an upgraded model at no additional cost due to availability issues. The first thermostat installed did not function properly and it was replaced with a working unit promptly. The technician spent time showing us how to use the new thermostat.

I have had a service contract with Project for over 25 years. This past Saturday made me happy I did. I called at about 8:30AM I received a call back in about 15 minutes and Austin arrived about an hour later. He took care of the problem and My air conditioner is working great again. It just does not get any better than that. Thank you Austin and Project Heating and Cooling

Wish I could give this place zero stars. Absolutely worst customer service ever! I called and left a message to have someone come out to service our year and half old a/c. It's been having an odd smell only when I turn the air on and not the heat. It's been doing this for about 4 months, but both me and my husband haven't had time to take off work to have someone come look at it.
We live in a new neighborhood in a new home and this is the company that services the a/c so I called and the voicemail said to leave a message about the issue which I briefly did. 15 minutes later a man called me back and when I told him the issue he tried to say it was the fresh air system and since its only been cold outside (not really this is Houston) so it's the outside air causing the smell because the system has been on heat.
I told him this has been happening for months now and I switch from air to heat regularly (like I said Houston weather) he got a big attitude and told me, "then why are you barely calling!" I didn't have time to answer before he rudely said, "You need to call monday to set up service", then and hung up on me as I was trying to talk. I will be calling another company and suggest you don't use these people as other reviews show the same unprofessionalism.

About a week ago, (due to a transformer, down the street), our neighborhood lost power. When the power came back on, the #Bryant unit / my #heat did not! ( It's 5 years old inside and out #heat pump under #warranty) It was working perfectly, prior to the power going out. I was told it maybe a fuse. When Project finally could come out.to #repair it.

They installed a new unit in are house. There has been problems from day one. I get it things happen. My biggest problem is there lack of communication. Ron won't call you back and when you do get ahold of him he is nasty. On the bright side all there tech are awesome. For service call them for a unit call someone else.

Project has threatened my business income due to their actions. I have paid Project close to $400,000 in installation and service over 13 years. They have never let me down and their service tech 'Craig' is very knowledgeable. Today I'm confused. They refused to serve me on a service call that was set up for today after they tech'd the issue but didn't have the parts needed the day before.
Project never followed up to set the appointment. I got worried (a busy Labor Day is coming and I needed the HVAC to work) so I tracked down the parts and called them for an install appointment. Project told me the tech's would be out at 1:30. At 1:45, I called to see where they were and was told "probably on their way". At 2:30 I called to again check in and was told "I would be called back".
Their service manager then called to say they wouldn't be out at all and I should call "my other heating and air company" - at the last minute - when everyone was leaving town for Labor Day. I was depending on them for the work and they left me hanging on a weekend that is busy for me. You have to be able to rely on a service company in times of need.
Without the AC units running I will potentially lose thousands of dollars. I understand to warrant their work they would need to source the parts but they didn't even give me that option. I even offered to pay them for the parts. They simply responded that they didn't want to work for me anymore. My only guess is this is in retribution for my using a different contractor to install one replacement HVAC unit (I have about 10 units).
Perhaps sourcing the parts myself to make sure the parts were on site was seemingly the straw that broke the camels back. As a business my goal is to save money, I don't know why they fault me for that. But a business is not supposed to be an ego battle. $400,000+, 13 years. I rarely write reviews but this is simply un-business like behavior and threatened my income due to their actions.
If you have a business you know what I'm talking about - you need to rely on your service providers. I very much caution anyone wanting to do business with Project at this juncture. I'm open to them amending this issue but as yet they have simply left me hanging on a busy weekend with no HVAC and no resolution.
