Pipetechs Plumbing

There's no way to describe Pipetechs' work other than outstanding. Originally, I had contracted with them to get my entire sewer line replaced and a city-side clean-out valve installed. When their crew began excavating my driveway to replace the pipe, they inadvertently damaged my neighbor's old terra cotta sewer line which ran parallel to and just 6 inches from my galvanized iron sewer pipe. (This was an unforeseeable accident as sewer lines emanating from 2 separate houses don't normally run alongside each other in one driveway.) This was an unusual scenario likely stemming from the fact we live in a historic neighborhood where many houses are 100 years old or more and originally built without plumbing.

When sewer lines were added some 90 years ago, contractors came up with their own designs which clearly no longer meet today's requirements. What was even more unusual was that our respective lines merged into one pipe that flowed into the same sewer lateral, a configuration which also does not meet current code. Needless to say, this necessitated a change in the scope of the work, an additional commitment of time for Pipetechs' crew, a permit and an inspection, things I felt certain would raise the cost of the job.

Not only did they replace my neighbor's terra cotta pipe and install a clean-out valve for her (as well as for me) for a nominal cost, they did not bill me extra for the additional work they incurred on my behalf. In other words, the invoice matched the estimate they originally quoted me. I was also impressed that the owner of the company, Dale Nichols, came to the job site to oversee that the job was done correctly and well.

That level of integrity was reflected in the work ethic and attitude of Pipetech's entire staff. Everyone I dealt with at Pipetechs was courteous, responsive, and diligently conscientious, qualities which reassured me I had made the right decision in hiring them for this job. At all times I felt my concerns were heard and respected. It is clear that Pipetechs is committed to providing excellent service. Can't recommend them enough!

Whoever was driving on 54/Chapel Hill towards Morrisville today at 5:15 (4/15/22) was driving recklessly. I was already going 5 over the limit and when I went to make my turn, they almost hit me because they were following so close. I would never hire a company that treats their vehicles like that. if they treat their van like that, can't imagine they'd show much care in my home. never mind they could really hurt someone with that driving. Tsk.

My neighbor down the street had this company employee a Craig Huntress working on a Saturday in uniform and in company's truck when he sold his son two pot cigarettes It wouldn't be really a problem in my part intil you find out his sons age. 14 going on 15. He calls a week later to see what was done to the employee? Nothing was done! Still employed! Wow I would stay away from this company and find one who can do your work without worrying that one of them is a dope dealer! Just unreal. Never heard such a thing in my life. They get a minus 1 star from me

Pipetechs just completed a large project for us today and WOW we cannot recommend them enough! We had a sewage over flow in our basement which lead us to finding 30ft of piping needing replacement. Ripping up the foundation from the back of the house all the way to the street is a very scary project but Pipetechs did quality work at a fair price and a great attitude. It certainly wasn't an easy job but they were great at communicating what was happening step by step and we will definitely use them again for any plumbing needs.

Came to the rescue on Thanksgiving weekend when we had a bunch of family in town staying with us and we had sewage flooding our basement. They arrived fast and did the job really quickly and went above and beyond with cleanup. Efficient, courteous, and super helpful. Can't recommend more highly.

I want to thank Dalen and his partner for providing excellent service and fixing my pipes. They were very professional and friendly. I highly recommend Pipetechs Plumbing Technologies. He even gave us free chemicals(grease breakers) and he gave us advice about what to prevent from getting into to the pipes and how often to use the chemicals. I 10/10 recommend.

Steve Ranson and Bob Hayworth at Pipetechs have just become my new go-to plumbers! They just replaced a water heater in the attic in one of my rental townhouses (which is a painful job), and I couldn't be more pleased. Steve kept in constant communication on the status of the job, so I didn't even need to check. They were prompt, professional, friendly and did a great job. I'll be calling them for any of my plumbing work in the future. Highly recommended!

I received great customer service from Rachid and Steve. They both worked over 2 hours to figure out my issue. Required inside and outside plumbing work. They were great and very informative. I called and within an hour they were able to come to my home, which was great since I was unable to use water or plumbing inside the house. Pipetechs was great!

Wade arrived at my home on time and got straight to work. He made sure he kept me informed of what he was doing and what the repair would include. It is clear that he is extremely knowledgeable and loves what he does. I was so stressed out about the leak, he made me feel better constantly reminding me "it could be worse". He went above and beyond with Angelo to ensure that we were well taken care of. I highly recommend this dynamic duo for all your pluming/leak needs.

Excellent service! moved shower drain and plumbed a new duel vanity. Worked clean and kept my job on track! I also had them repair a pump for my runoff drain system and service my tank less water heater!

I am sure they do fine work. However, I had a significant issue and was told they would be onsite this afternoon. Fortunately, I called to confirm and was informed they would have to re-schedule. Really?!

Our hot water heater failed on Wed. and within 24 hrs., they installed a new heater. The installation is highly professional and the techs were very courteous and thorough.

We had a water leak after a pipe broke while installing new washer. Most of the places did not have an opening for the same day. Dale was here within few hours and fixed the pipe. He also made sure that there is no leak after the water supply was turned on.

Excellent. We had a water leak between the well and the house. Andrew came out on a Friday to do a helium test. The test could not locate the spot due to the pool of water near the house. Andrew dug around in the pool but still could not find the lead.

These guys are the best. Great work and excellent people. Wouldn't recommend anyone else. Thanks again!
