I've called to schedule an assessment of the possible leak in my wall. After asking about the pricing, I could not get a single answer! Surely, the final price will depend on the work extent. However, what is the estimate? I was told that the technician will let me know IF he'll need to crawl under the house. We'll, WHY WOULD I NEED HIM TO COME OUT IF HE WONT CRAWL TO INVESTIGATE? Pure BS!

Critical: Value Absolute plumbing does quality work, but something at the company has changed in the last year. We had used them for 3 previous jobs and they were honest and fair in their pricing, but this latest job was the complete opposite. They are now a deceptive and price-gouging company. We had a leak in a main pipe. They came out, did the work, charged us $5000. after only THREE hours of work the job was finished. They will NOT provide us a breakdown of prices (labor, materials, equipment) and that is just wrong. My husband made multiple calls to the business, got it reduced to $4,075 but this is still ridiculous and we feel we were WAY over-charged. We deserve to know WHAT exactly they are charging us over 4k for.

Do Not call this company. They will jack you around when they show up! Why 1 Star? I have used this company several times in the past to snake/clean our sewer line as it seems to get root infilteration every 15 to 18 months. Since I could hear the sewer line "burping" (not backed up yet)I called Absolute Plumbing and spoke to a gal. She scheduled me for the next morning (as it was not an emergency) and told me there was a $30 deposit required to schedule.

This was new. Anyway, I told her that the 2 guys who did the job during the pandemic charged $197 and if the amount would be the same. She said Yes, it's a 2 man job as the machine needs to be carried down the 11 steps in front of my house but the tech will confirm the price when he gets there. Next morning one guy, the younger of the 2 guys who came during the pandemic, shows up and tells me that this time he has to charge $440 bc gas has gone up, costs have gone up and the price of my house has gone up. Wow!

So I reminded this tech that the last time he was here with his associate the charge was $197and $440 was more than double! He said yes, he has to call another guy to give him a hand to bring the machine down. I offerred to help him do this and asked if he could bring down the price to about $250, agreeing that the price of gas and costs have gone up.

He said No, he was giving me a deal as other companies would charge me $880! So I declined his service and called his office and spoke to the same woman again to let her know. She couldn't be bothered and very sweetly said "Ok. No problem"! Wow! Later that day I noticed that she ran the $30 charge on my card. Shame, shame. It would have been professional of her to have told me the first time when I called that their rates had gone up over 200% from last year!

Glad it wasn't an emergency for me or I would have had to pay $440. I called another company and the gal there scheduled the service for next morning and gave me a price of $185 for using 100 feet of cable and $70 extra for ataching an additional 50 foot cable. Tech shows up on time next morning, alone, declines my help to bring equipement down the stairs, brings it down himself, gets the job done in 20 minutes, takes equipment up the stairs himself, collects payment of $255 and leaves everything clean. This is called professional behavior! Best to call ANOTHER drain cleaning company if you have an emergency!

Ryan and the team of Absolute Plumbing is by far the best in town. Ryan is very professional, well equipped, knowledgeable, very thorough in his work with good work attitude. I called Absolute Plumbing to help with a clogged exterior drain line running from the side of my house out to the ditch running behind my property. They were able to come out the next day, give me a reasonable estimate, snake and then hydro jet the line, and then leave the whole 40+ft line clean (as shown to me on camera). Ryan and Alex were friendly and professional, getting the job done and leaving the work site clean. I highly recommend this company.

RUN! If you don't believe me, read the list of negative reviews below. I hate to write these kind of reviews, as you'll see in my profile, I really like to highlight a business, but I can't do that here. These people are the absolute worst! They charged me $30 to have someone come out for a quote, which they said would be applied to the job if I accepted the quote.

This isn't normal, but I needed someone that could complete the work that day. When the tech came out to look over the job, he gave me a quote (which was high compared to other quotes I had gotten) and I agreed to it. We signed a contract and he went to grab tools to start the work. When he came back he said his boss told him to leave and they couldn't do the job, AFTER I JUST SIGNED THE CONTRACT.

When I asked why, he said our valves were not to code (which is weird, it's a newer house). I said ok, well let's have them fixed. The tech told me his boss said no and he had leave. I then asked why he couldn't update the valves being that he was a plumber and all. His response was, we don't want to be liable if something leaks. WHAT?!?

You shouldn't be in this business then! I asked for his boss to give me a call, which he never did. I had to call the office, and they transferred me. The supervisor got hostile with me and said he doesn't owe me an explanation and sounded like he threw the phone. When I called back, they sent me to their answering service. NICE! TLDR - Charged $30 for a service call, had me sign a contract and was then told they couldn't do the job anymore. Talked to supervisor, who was hostile on the phone and I still got charged $30 for the quote.

THE BEST OF THE BEST! We discovered a break in our sewer line that attached to the main line in the street. CC Sanitary Dist dispatched and we were told to hire a plumber. We called an old reliable plumbing company and unfortunately, they were unable to solve the problem. We then contacted ABSOLUTE PLUMBING and within 30 minutes Oleg O. arrived. I forgot my mask in the house so he gave me one out if his truck which was appreciated.

With great tools and alot of experience he was able to solve our problem in a short amount of time. Oleg O. is an excellent communicator, gave us a bid immediately and solved this complex problem at warp speed. I encourage you to use ABSOLUTE PLUMBING, you will be glad you did.

Had floors replaced, water disconnected from fridge when work was done. Was recommended to call plumber to get it reconnected, the plumber initially said the water was not turned on, seeming like he thought I could fix it myself. I asked him to please check it because I'm not an expert, he did his inspection and turns out the hose needed to be replaced. I've used absolute plumbing before and they had always been great but this experience was not good.

These folks run a SHAM business. I paid for their service fee of $60, no issue. Upon Arrival, property was walked and 3 weeks passed and I finally got an estimate, after multiple calls asking for it. $40K for a single family residence for French drains, no permit cost or even ROM included. I rcv'd an ultra high level estimate and I asked or a google earth image to be marked up with the basic idea of what is in the estimate. I've been emailing Melody for weeks and then today after I sent an inquiry from my 2/3/22 inquiry for status and was told that the ONLY person who estimates, who also came to my property, is out on medical leave for an undetermined amount of time.

I was also RUDELY cut off and rushed that Melody only works once a week (the one who was supposedly fielding my inquiry) and their RUDE AND SPEED taking Vanessa refused to listen to me, spoke over me, hung up on me because she asked me to email her and I stated that the "info" email has all of my details. Being that she called me in answering the "info" email she then goes on to say that she doesn't have any of the information from those emails.

I asked her how that can be as she called me today moments after I sent my inquiry email off today. THIS IS A SHAM COMPANY where I was initially prodded for a review. I emailed to inquire as I have not really a reason to a review, and then the reception who had no details, was not capable of reviewing emails that she claims to all of a sudden have access to the in box.yes, I will be posting this review on as many places as possible. DO NOT USE THIS SHAM OF A COMPANY THAT HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WILL JUST TAKE YOUR $60. THEY DO NOT INTEND TO DO ANY WORK.

The Technician Olga was fine and did a good job and was on time. However when he initially quoted me $560 I was shocked! He reminded me his price book showed this as the price for an estimated hours work plus labor. When I reminded him they where charging over $500 per hour for labor as material was a plastic gasket and some plumbers putty! He advised me half way thru that he contacted the office and said they reduced it to $426. I told him I was going to report what I thought was excessive pricing for one hour and that I could not recommend them again. Too bad!

I was up in the middle of the night packing for a impending move when my drain clogged, and I wasn't able to use the dishwasher or clean anything. So I was desperate. I called that morning around 930, and Absolute Plumbing said they get there someone there before noon. Larry and Alex were right on time, friendly and highly professional. They got the job done quicker than I thought they would. And they were able to help me get my key unstuck from an exterior lock as an added benefit. They did double duty as miracle workers today.

Had them come out to replace shut off hot and cold water valves for washer. Assumed the normally outrageous plumber rate of $150-200 an hour. When plumber showed up he confirmed the job would take about half an hour, then he told me the charge would be $550! I told him politely that it was ridiculous and sent him on his way. Want to say the plumber was very courteous and I'm sure very competent- no issues with him at all, but I will never call this company again, who I shall henceforth refer to as absolutely not plumbing. Have since lined up another plumber to do the work at less than half the cost.

Larry was very helpful and polite. He fixed my problem and went the extra mile. He patiently and professionally answered my questions and gave me some useful tips. I will recommend Absolute plumbing in the future. Service: Repair water fixtures

Oleg was very professional in replacing my toilet bowl and was very fast. Great job!

The plumber was not knowledgeable. Had to call two different people for advice. The solution they came up with was replace the entire shower. Sorry no, I'm am engineer and I know for fact it would not require 8.5 grand to fix. I would not trust this company because they were not knowledgeable, and would probably take advantage of a customer who doesn't have the benefit of an engineering background.

I have used Absolute Pluming several times, and every time I have called them they where very responsive thoroughly investigate the issue and only repair what is needed which why I continue to use their server. Yesterday at this time, I Called for a simple rooter service, asked for an idea of what it would cost. Gal said they would be happy to provide an estimate in person but it would cost $20 for the tech to come. But that it would be applied to the service of course if we decided to move forward. Agreeing to the fee, of course because I understand the rising cost of fuel, I book an appointment for today. 24 hours later, still no drain, I leave work, excited to get this fixed, Just for the tech to tell me as simple as the job is it's a min charge of $448.

Thinking he was kidding I asked again. He was not. Disappointed for sure at not only their price, but mostly their business model. They did not have to waste everyone's time. They could have mention their MINIMUM fee and disclaimed it could be more. But instead they must hope everyone is despate. sadly, I did not use and I would not recommend this company.

I called Absolute Plumbing this morning to get an estimate and was told estimates are given on site. So I paid a $20.00 fee only to receive an estimate of over a $1000.00 to replace a valve leaking under my sink. After asking how long the job would take, I was told 30 minutes to drain the pipes. Well, I knew that was a lie because I have drained the pipes myself, no where near 30 minutes.

How much do plumbers make now days? I will replace the valve myself for less than $50.00. This company is price gouging and taking advantage of people's situation. Not this guy. They got my $20.00 but it cost them this review.

You get what you pay for. Absolute Plumbing has been the best plumber that my wife and I have used in the past 20 years. They came out to my mother-in-laws house and unplugged a clogged drain in Alamo. Our 25 year old water heater went out last Sunday night. They came out Monday morning, We decided to go Tankless and they went right to work with 3 more plumbers showing all done buy 5pm that afternoon. Awesome crew polite and very professional and we are loving our new system.

Alex and Juan came late in the day diagnosed the issue and fixed it all in about 30min. Both gentlemen were very professional but also personable. They wore all proper safety gear and even put on boot covers even when I said it wasn't necessary. I hope I do not have future issues but if so, they will be my first call. Have been going to Absolute Plumbing for years. Their employees are always professional. I had Reid disconnect my old gas dryer and cap off the gas line and vent because I'm getting a ventless unit. Not only did Reid get the job done, he also took the time to explain what was done and why he did what he did. Highly recommend.

These guys did a great job on our busted sewer line. There were like 5 guys who busted their butts for 9-10 hours working on our really challenging, sloping front yard. They were absolute pros and we were super grateful. They left things neat and tidy. Would definitely recommend!

I asked for an estimate. I'm currently shopping around to see which plumbers I would go with. Ryan from Absolute plumbing was very professional. He inspected my house and listened to all of my concerns and things I wanted to do. There were some major issues that needed to be addressed and Ryan was very upfront with me. He gave me some options and advice on what I need to get done. Ryan tested the city water and showed me that there were too many poisonous chemicals in our city water.

We would definitely benefit from having a filtration system. Ryan was not pushy on sales due to the extent of work he would have to do to my place. I really appreciated his honesty and patients. The amount of work I need done will be quite expensive so I will get a few more estimates before making my final decision.

I called Absolute Plumbing to schedule an appointment to replace my toilet full valve and angle stop. It was easy to schedule and also reschedule the appointment. The plumber, Reid, who performed the service was very professional and pleasant to work with, and he also gave me some tips and information as far as replacing the toilet later on and preventing future clogging on my bathroom sink. I highly recommend Absolute Plumbing and plan to use them for my future plumbing needs!

They came out on 4/1/21 to Quote a job for me in Concord, where the water line that went to the building was leaking under the dirt. They charge $20 to come out, fine. Then the guy starts to look at the job & taking pictures to have an estimate prepared for me a few days later. Then he said That I owed an extra $68.99. I questioned him for not disclosing in Advance that the charge to write up an estimate will be an Extra $69!

I Didn't want to give a poor review right away so That i would give this some Time so that perhaps my emotions may subside. Thought I may feel different later. But I do not. I Don't consider them to be honest. Because of this, I decided to go With a 2nd quote I received and gave a $3200 business to a different company. So they nickel and dime and Charge you $20 to show up (fine) & Trick you in paying an extra $69 (I never got the estimate btw), but lose On $3000+ business. How smart is that!

I can't rave enough about Absolute Plumbing, and in particular Reid S. and his colleague. I had a leak in front of my house which i could not for the life of me find the cause of. I had the city come twice and another plumber too, but neither could figure it out. Absolute were very courteous, professional and explained every step what they were doing. Reid crawled under my house (only about 18 clearance under there - nasty!) in 110 degree heat, and not only found the leak in my refrigerator hose but fixed it within the same afternoon.

He took photos under there so I could see where the water was spraying out. It was unbelievably hot and I suggested they reschedule, but they persisted! They upgraded the water intake and put a new valve in, in just a few hours, leaving my kitchen very clean, and all for a good price. I highly recommend these guys, they are very professional.

We had a sprinkler problem in our front yard and Absolute responded quickly but their workers didn't know what they were doing! They spent 3-1/2 hours digging a hole in our front lawn and going out two times to pick up parts! My husband called to complain and the foreman told them to leave the job and hung up the phone-Wow really terrible way to do business and unprofessional!

We had no water to our house and they walked off the job on a Friday night! DON'T USE THIS COMPANY; THEY CHARGE BIG BUCKS FOR UNTRAINED PEOPLE AND DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING!

I called Absolute Plumbing and Drain recently to help clean out the sewer lateral leading from the side of my house out to the street. Oleg, the technician, was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable. Within a half hour, he had the pipe snaked out and flowing freely. The roots of trees and hedges along that part of my property had invaded the pipe and caused a blockage, spilling sewage into my side yard.

Thank goodness for the overflow valve that had been installed previously or the sewage would have backed up into the house! It should be noted that I called 8 other services prior to finding Absolute. All of them were too busy to come out or didn't call me back. Absolute returned my call quickly and had someone out within a day. Bravo!

Absolute worst customer service. The staff that came out to the site were friendly and professional; however the staff in the "office" are absolutely useless. Had to call multiple times for a written quote on fixes and still got no report with an estimated cost of fix. Got attitude and even a staff hang up on us after few attempts. Do not recommend this place, take your money and sanity elsewhere, and will not use again in the future.

Unfortunately the repair only held up for two years. They came out and fixed it in 2018, to which I thought I was finally done worrying about this issue. Its been 3 years now and the rocking toilet has returned! Now they are saying they won't do anything about it. Fix it right the first time and we wouldn't be in this mess!

I have had a great disaster with my plumbing thru my restroom and I was so scared my collection of thousands of rugs to distribute bad odors But Absolute plumbing was absolutely perfect at their service They were prompt exteremely professional and so quick to finalize my worries I would recommend them to each person in this world

We have been very pleased with Absolute Plumbing and Drain. We have used them since we moved into our Pleasant Hill Home in 2013. We purchased a yearly plan with them which allows for a discount on services.

I recently had an exterior drain cleared. The young technician was pleasant, well qualified, and spent roughly an hour clearing the drain. At the end of the service, the technician suggested I purchase RootX from him to clear roots from the drain.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Absolute Plumbing and Drain for a good while now. Each interaction has been a great experience, they are prompt, reliable and handle business the right way. The owner/operator Rod has an upfront and honest style which I appreciate.
