This company's plumber repiped second floor waste lines with PVC; repiped bathroom and kitchen cold/hot lines with Pex; repiped main line to basement with PVC in five days after cement floor demo and cast iron main cut and removed with as little damage as possible to drywall. Leak sources have been removed and replaced. Although renovation and repair by a different company has not yet begun, in regards to our home waterworks, I'm pleased with the methodical attention to plumbing design and timeliness of Michael Green and his assistant, Eric, toward our older home and pleased with the responsiveness, considerate explanations, and coordinated follow up by owner Lou and son, Nick Schede. I look forward to reporting back upon project completion.

Waited around all day with no call or messages. Came the next day. Did a good job the next day but a bit pricy.

Schede Plumbing installed our Navien Combi-Boiler when we converted from oil to natural gas heating. The install team was professional and the workmanship was excellent. Pricing was fair and the customer service excellent. We had a few minor adjustments needed after the initial installation, and received quick turnaround to resolve the issues. Both Lou and Nick have always been fantastic to work with, and I would highly recommend Schede Plumbing for any plumbing needs.

After dealing with unprofessional local Plummer from cos cob, riverside are I must say this Plummer service gave me a peace. From the owner Mr. Lou and the Plummer Mr green everyone was so understanding and accommodating. I am very happy with my Service and I am currently using them again because they're amazing work service. I honestly recommend them.

We ordered a new washing machine from a local company who said they would also install it. When the company came, they didn't have the right part and really left us in a lurch and said to call a plumber. After making a few phone calls Schede plumbing was the only who doesn't seem to have staffing issues as they were able to send someone right away! Nick came out within 20 mins of our call, he had the right part and was able to finish the job. I'm so thankful for them and will be sure to call for future needs! Professional, courtesy and reasonably priced!

Used them for my hot water heater replacement a few years ago, and since then the flow check valve has failed twice, not to mention the ridiculously high price they charged each time. They had completely no idea what might have caused the failure and all they could do was to replace the valve and wait for it to fail again in a couple of years. Also every time they came over to fix something my water heat would stop working afterwards or some other issues would come up which they had to come back and fix it, and as a result I had to pay them more.

It's a completely disappointment and a waste of money to do business with them. I will never do business with them again and I'm surprised that they haven't gone out of business yet.

I cannot recommend Schede Plumbing more highly. We recently called with an emergency - our water main was leaking into our foundation - and Nick and company were an absolute lifesaver. Not only were they quick, responsive, and professional, they had to dig up a good portion of our front yard and remove half the shrubbery in order to find the leak but they brought in a landscaper to replace and reconstruct upon completion.

Their prices are reasonable but their service is exceptional and I cannot thank them enough. I would highly recommend to anyone in the market for a seasoned, professional, trustworthy plumber.

Very impressed with my first experience with this company. They came highly recommended to me when my central air conditioning unit stopped working last month. I called Schede Plumbing to help get the A/C back on. They arrived promptly and were extremely knowledgeable technicians with great explanations of problem and quickly fixed the unit. I will absolutely be using them again for any future repairs.

I can't say enough positive things about this company. I've worked with them three times in the last couple of years, on two different properties. They are always quick to respond, very courteous, and quite professional. I also felt their pricing was very fair. If you need a great local plumber, this is the company to call!

I've used them for 3 separate incidents. For literally every single one, they missed the first appointment, didn't call back or let me know if it was rescheduled. Not once were any of my additional issues or concerns addressed or fixed. Last one the service call was to replace ALL my water shut off valves. the tech who showed up the next day without anyone telling me called me, I went back home from work, and he had no supplies to do any of the work. Went out to buy solder so he could fix ONE of the valves.

There are 12 shutoff valves in the house. Company called to collect the 200 dollar charge for never doing what I asked them to do though. until I complained at which point I was hung up on by one person, then laughed at by another. Techs were pleasant and capable (but ill prepared). service and scheduling is a complete joke.

They do different plumbing jobs including water heaters, faucets, cleaning lines and camera lines. We have used them since 2007. Member Comments: Their communication is pretty good. They follow our rules. When they don't, they take it on the chin. The prices are pretty good for the area. They are always nice and respectful. Sometimes we can be difficult to deal with.

I called to get a quote on service for my tankless water heater. While I did not end up getting the service performed, this company was very helpful in answering my questions and gave me some advice and suggestions in order to get a more accurate price quotation.

They have come out a couple times. We had a pipe burst one time, and some plumbing issues another time. When the pipe burst it cost around $1500, and the plumbing issues cost around $200. They do a great job. I would highly recommend them. We had a small issue and they came back out in a timely manner and fixed the problem.

My old electric water heater decided to give up one October morning. With just one phone call to Schede I was provided same day, professional & courteous, competitively priced service.

We have used them many times in the past. Most recently, they replaced an oil-fired hot water tank for us. We were very satisfied with the price and quality of service. Would definitely use them again and recommend them highly.

Different work at various times, replaced a blown furnace, huge job that took two men 4 days. Member Comments: Exceeded all expectations by far. They actually hooked up a temporary hot water heater so we could use showers while they did the work, something no one else offered to do. The price was below others and I don't think anyone else could have done the job as well.

I am soo unhappy with the follow through. When I explained the problem to the receptionist she was very very rude and accused me of lying and told me it must be my fault that the job had not been finished.

Schede Plumbing and Heating far exceeded all of my expectations in a plumber. When I bought my house, it needed it a lot of work - especially plumbing. My new neighbors spoke highly about their plumber, Louis Schede, and they were right. Louis re-plumbed my whole house. He replaced all the galvanized water supply lines with copper, replaced drain. lines for two bathrooms and a kitchen, and converted a small bedroom into a third bathroom.

The quality of the work is great and he was able to stay within my desired budget. Louis and his team was efficient and was very communicative throughout the project. He kept me well-informed of the job situation, worked with me to do things right and still keep the costs under control. I will not hesitate to use Schede Plumbing on future projects and recommend them to others.

Still waiting for a receipt for a job done a month ago. Not happy. Will keep write reviews updated on my progress.
