They actually weren't able to do the service, but directed me to a company that did the work. Not often, that you get professionals that will forward business to another company. They did, which in effect solved my clients emergency. I'd highly recommend them. Their office staff was excellent and Pino Sforza defined true service.

I've been with Astacio for over 15 years. They have provided outstanding maintenance and repairs over this time, including a boiler and several hot water heater replacements. Our 220 year old antique farmhouse always requires constant maintenance of our heating and a/c systems. Astacio has never let us down with their responsiveness, quality of work and professionalism.

Mike Crocco, whom I've worked with for over a decade, who is the best plumber I know, does exemplary work, and although he has assumed a more administrative role with the company always makes onsite visits, guiding Pino and his colleagues to perform high quality repairs. Jose M., John B., and Kyle converted our boiler from oil to natural gas. The guys were incredible; knowledgeable, accommodating and professional. I had a bunch of questions that they answered, making sure I was comfortable at each stage of the conversion. They treated our house as if it were their own. Astacio has proven to be a valuable resource and I would highly recommend them.

In this age of Covid and supply chain problems prices are never going to be satisfactory. Having said that I would like to tell you how successful it was to work with Astacio Plumbing today to replace a water heater. The water heater was done perfectly and the new electric toilet was installed perfectly also. I'd like to talk particularly about Danny A. Danny is a knowledgeable, understanding, and professional plumber.

He realizes that he's in your house and doing work for you and treats you that way. Because of Danny I will use Astacio again and again. Danny's team was clean and respectful of my home. Highly recommend. I had a major job gutting and rerouting all plumbing behind a wall of tiles, and everyone I connected with was responsive, courteous, and professional. Dennis and John were great about providing a competitive quote and project timeline, and the work done by Danny was impeccable and timely. Danny specifically was great; he was incredibly patient with some building communication issues and took the time to explain the the intricacies of the work.

Completely unhelpful. Despite service records that show this company installed and has previously serviced the equipment in the home I purchased, the dispatcher indicated Astacio was not taking new customers, and would not assist me with a critical repair issue. *Updated for the owners response* To clarify the rationale for the negative review, I respect the fact that you are busy, but your response to my review is not accurate.

The dispatcher DID NOT offer me a date, but stated that you were NOT accepting "new" customers. I said, "so basically you're refusing to help me" and he said "Yeah, kind of". ASTACIO stickers were all over the equipment I called about for service, so I was confused by the classification of being a "new customer". Enjoy this business cycle while it lasts. When the world regains its sanity, hopefully your group will regain its appreciation for customers.

I was referred to Astacio by my building as the go to plumbers. I must say I have been waiting for an estimate for three months! When followed up on this an employee accused me of lying and fabricating stories to protect himself from his supervisor Mike. I'm not sure if this is how they usually operate but from my experience there was a lack of communication between employees, and a serious lack of customer service and professionalism(especially for a company in the service sector)They come across as if their service is a favor to customers yet people pay for these services. From what I've seen I definitely wouldn't recommend this company.

Daniel and his team are absolutely fantastic to work with. Daniel is very knowledgeable and takes pride in his work. He kept me informed every step of the way and explained the work that was being done and how things work and what I needed to know about the entire process. The job came out better than I had expected. I would absolutely recommend Astacio plumbing for your plumbing needs no matter the job big or small I'm confident they can handle it. It was a pleasure working with Rob and crew on our air conditioner replacement. Rob came to look at our current system and showed up EXACTLY when he said he would. He did a great job of explaining everything to my husband and answered all of our questions. The crew showed up yesterday morning EXACTLY on time, worked hard all day long and were a pleasure to have in our house.

They were very professional and did a good job of minimizing any disruptions to our work from home schedule. They did a good job cleaning up at the and of the day and they worked really hard on a hot day in our attic! And, our upstairs is now nice and cool!

I have trusted Astacio Plumbing for over 10 years. Of the four local plumbers I have used since I came to the Stamford area over 20 years ago, though some were very good, none have held a candle to Astacio for knowledge, professionalism, and service. Over the years, I have had plumbing projects done in connection with both an apartment and a house.

In my experience, Astacio has the expertise to do basically EVERYTHING. From clearing out drain clogs, to kitchen disposal and water heater installations, to new plumbing, to a conversion from oil to gas heating, they've never failed me. If an issue arises, they also are prompt to address it. The oil-to-gas conversion was a big job with some complexities, and they executed it flawlessly. It is great to have a company you can trust.

Unprofessional and rude. I would never trust this company in my home or business. Astacio Plumbing was hired by the landlord but they forgot to let the tenants (us) know. Okay. It is a miscommunication. It happens sometimes. When we tried to ask what they were doing one guy became extremely rude and started cursing. He soon called his supervisor and referred to my co-workers as, "THESE F@#CKING PEOPLE." and very clearly expressed his xenophobic and prejudiced views.

The word unprofessional does not even come close to describing the way this guy acted. It is very easy to think that the problem is with this one individual. However, this incident occurred while on the phone with a supervisor. So, the management and/or leadership of this company has somehow created an environment where disrespecting members of the community is somehow acceptable and tolerated. I doubt this is an isolated incident.

I needed some 11th Hour Maintenance and repair of my A/C prior to closing the sale of my condo. They were professional and responsive. They can't control the weather but did do a great job in controlling the system that makes it more bearable!

Great caring company. Good for little and big projects. We used Astacio for converting from oil to gas years ago and have used their services many times since. They always respond quickly and do their best. They come out in the middle of the night on an emergency call, if needed. All that staff is knowledgeable. The job is always done correctly. The plumbers keep up to date on the new codes, requirements, etc.

Their prices are fair for what the going rates are for plumbing. The staff vans are always well maintained, the staff is always dressed in uniform and is are well spoken. The staff is usually the same, depending on the job. The employees stay with the company, so that shows Astacio is a good company.
Whether, you need to convert from oil to gas, change a hot water heater, have sink and toilet problems, they can do it. No matter the size of the job, they make it a priority.

If it was possible to give no stars they deserve it. They were called in this morning to fix and issue with a boiler leak. The young man who was dispatched seemed to have been untrained or clueless as to what needed to be done. He may have overheard my frustration at his ineptitude and immediately got on his phone. He then proceeded to walk past me without a word and got into his van and left.

Perhaps this is how they conduct business on a normal day. If I hadn't shown my immediate distrust and disgust, I am sure I would have been handed a very large bill for time spent there and nothing fixed. My recommendation is to please take this and the other reviews seriously before calling them. Wish i had looked on here 1st, but lesson learned.

Sloppy work. Damaged a shower drain and it took them 3 hours to diagnose a simple leak. Job should have been done in 1 hour tops, but instead was billed 3 hours. Would not recommend or do business with them ever again, as their plumbers only can do basic simple work. Now I have a damaged infinity drain and a bill. A total waste of my money, find a real plumber.

Let us tell you how pleased we are with the way our two bathrooms were remodeled. During the past three weeks or so, you and about eight of your associates were in our apartment at various times; and your tile person was here almost full time. Everyone was extremely competent, friendly, very fastidious about leaving minimal dust and debris, and most cooperative.

Terrible, they are nasty and unprofessional, the aptitude of their workers are nasty and rude. I experienced this several times with this individuals because they are used by the association in my condominiums, they even try to charge over $170.00 just to close the water. I even called the police on then once

It's so unusual to find a plumber who actually either answers the phone, or gets right back to you. Astacio plumbing not only is a good communicator, but also does great work, and using all the newest in plumbing technology so that one can be assured that the job is being done in the best way possible.

I hesitate to give a bad review because I have had 2 really great experiences with very helpful technicians. However, a gentleman named Rob came to a service call at our house today and stunk up my entire home with cigarette smoke, dirtiness, and then went back to his truck to spray a ton of cologne (which was then even worse than the original smell).

I called the office asking if someone could mention this to him and was told it was overstepping their boundaries to do so. I have a child with significant allergies who has been coughing all afternoon after his visit and I imagine other clients would feel the same about not having their home smelling terribly and their children getting sick. The office manager did say she would make a note to not send Rob to our home again (which is appreciated) but it does not solve the problem of this happening to other people.

My company has had 2 HVAC systems installed by Astacio. The service technicians have always been very prompt and knowledgable. Evidence of insurance is necessary. I had received a quote from Richard to replace my hot water tank. Tina then sent me back a seven page contract and a three option payment schedule that would not allow me to make to schedule an appointment to replace my hot water tank until the down payment was received.

I want to thank you, and your entire team, for the great job you did on the installation of our five new gas boilers. The project finished ahead of schedule and on budget. I was very impressed with the quality of the work performed as well as the professionalism and knowledge of your workers. You all worked very hard, and put in long hours, to meet the time frames we were shooting for.
