I had been having trouble getting service to replace my AC from other vendors. On the eve of a 100 deg day (dogs would especially suffer) I contacted Nate who stopped over SAME DAY and determined it was obviously shot. He sent Jeremy and Caleb (great guys) the NEXT MORNING at 8am and they were on time and did a fantastic job installing a new AC for me and by 2pm the whole place was cool! I know they were busy too and the pricing was actually lower then competitors. 10/10

We have a new home. Our bathroom fan was making a pulsing noise and our soap dispenser was not functioning. Sabre came out very quickly. They acknowledged the fan needed an adjustment and took care of it promptly. They identified the soap dispenser was defective and told me they would order a new one. They were easy to work with, polite, and professional. Good experience.

Do not hire. We paid for a $300 yearly contract, they showed up to inspect the unit for a total of 10 min, said everything looked great and then never heard from them again. I had a major leak that soaked the entire downstairs from the condensation line and was told I had to pay another $300 to fix it because it wasn't covered in my contract and I should have replaced the filter myself before it leaked.
How am I supposed to know what needs to be changed and when if there is no mention of it? I assumed since they were the "specialists" I would have at least had a little guidance. Nope. Just more money owed. Service employee that came out was rude and the manager I spoke to was even worse. Ultimately terminated the contract.

We just moved into a house and needed some re-routing work done for a bathroom fan and water heater pipe. We are really happy with the result! Plus, they addressed additional HVAC-related questions and repairs while they were here. Great customer service too - very friendly and responsive! My furnace had been acting up and we got some bids from Sabre on a new unit. We decided one a new furnace and set up an installation date. Well, the furnace didn't cooperate and we has a clod stretch of weather coming up. I called Kelly and asked if there was any way she could move our date. We really couldn't wait another 5 days. I called early Friday morning and by 9:15, she called back and said they switched things up and could be there before 11.
My wife and I were thrilled and JP and Grant came and installed the new unit, working until 6PM. Kelly was great as were the installers. The did a very professional job. It was wonderful to have warm house with the temps getting down to -18 degrees with even lower wind chills. Thank you for the quick scheduling and installation! Very appreciative! Bob Prince

We noticed an error message popping up on a 14 month old furnace Sabre installed on our house. Sabre said it wasn't under warranty (somehow?) but they could have someone come out and look at it for ~$350 or more. It is probably a 20 minute house call to fix a minor technical issue. As previous reviewers have mentioned, they don't stand by their own work. I have used Hoffman in the past and been really impressed with their ethical, honest approach and warranty. Would recommend working with them instead.

Grant was my repair man and he was amazing! I had my home inspected after living in it for 6 months. One find was that the fan and blower were filled with sheet rock dust, I was put off by our Pultte representative but insisted on having it cleaned as recommended by my inspector. SABRE sent Grant out and he was so good, he taught me so much. I can't recommend him enough, Sabre, he deserves a raise!

Bought a new home and Sabre was the HVAC installer. Took a while to realize that the 3 electronic damper zones are all incorrect. Turn on the upstairs, the main floor turns on. Turn on the Basement, the upstairs turns on. For just $216 per hour they will come out to fix it. It seems they have a contract with builders to do new work. I don't understand how home owners call them. $216 per hour plus parts, and that is just to fix an installation error. *Update gave another star for replying and answering the phone. $216 was quoted as a non emergency rate, approximately 2 week wait. (Receptionist may remember me saying Id buy a book and learn it myself instead).
I ended up paying $95 total to another company and tipped the provider another $40 for not charging enough for a two hour job. 2 dampers were hung up / caught on the inside ductwork.

Horrible. Built a house in 2017. Furnace was leaking from condenser line in 2020. Told out of warranty for labor. Used a local contractor. Furnace quit working March of 2021. Out of warranty for labor. Asked 275 for call plus 316 an hour. Part maybe covered for a 3 year old furnace. Again used a local contractor. Motor is bad on a 3 year old furnace. Horrible company.?would never use them for service.!

Full disclosure Sabre advertises on our podcast and that's one of the reasons we started using them. Our previous hvac co couldn't figure out what was wrong with our furnace and kept wanting to put in s new system. Sabre fixed our furnace and we didn't have to install a new system! They do a great job and come out promptly. Highly recommend.

We first met with Peter about replacing our furnace and air conditioner. He did an excellent job and helped us to make our decision to place an order with Sabre. Next, technicians John and Jake did an excellent job installing our new furnace and air conditioner. We are very pleased with service by members of your staff.

Everyone makes mistakes and accidents happen. It's part of life. However, when a company repeatedly makes blunders which cost you money and then refuses to make it right, that's just bad business. Personally, I had to take vacation time over six days and spend an additional $700 too because of their errors. My wife and I built a new home last year with Sabre as the HVAC and plumbing contractor, and we've had an incredible amount of trouble with their quality, craftsmanship and customer service. Here's is a quick rundown of the trouble we've had with Sabre: -The technicians at Sabre installed our HVAC system wrongly causing cold winter air to be forced into the house instead of passing through the furnace.
This caused our winter heating bill to be $100-$150 more than the average for the winter months. It was eventually fixed, but in the end, their mistakes cost me money. -Because of the issues with the HVAC system would couldn't use our lower level during the winter. The temperature rarely crept above 60 degrees. At night, the temperature rarely got above 55 degrees, despite our thermostat set at 70 degrees.
The problem was eventually resolved, but it took over three months and six service visits to get it done. -Our 2 Zone HVAC system and thermostats were wired backward. The heat control on the thermostat was wired to the AC system, meaning the AC would turn on when the heat was supposed to. This meant we were greeted by a blast of cold air when the heat was supposed to turn on.
This should have been found during inspection but was not. Again, Sabre had to send someone out. -Technicians had to come to our home six times over two months to fix the problems above. Yes, you read that correctly SIX TIMES. This forced me to take unnecessary time off and lose even more money. You know it's ridiculous when you are on a first name basis with the technicians. -Finally, we had a natural gas line installed during the building process.
I spoke with a rep from Sabre and was quoted over the phone $292 for the job. To my surprise, I received a bill for $550 after it was installed. This price was never agreed upon at any point. I would have paid the bill without much thought, but because we had so much trouble, I was extremely annoyed. I paid the bill, but the company should have compensated us. Save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewhere.

I wanted to thank you for your candidness with regards to your house call yesterday. You were helpful and honest with your assessment of my furnace. The other company said I needed a new furnace after about two minutes of looking at the furnace. You expressed your honest opinion that I should have my furnace assessed by one of your techs.

I see Sabre vans coming in and out of my neighborhood all of the time. So we thought we would use them when we wanted to get estimates on heating our garage. We called three times. Left messages all three times. No call backs. Called one more time and we got an appointment for today at 12pm. Guess what? He is a no show. Sigh. Please do not use them. Find someone else. They are not responsive and have poor customer service.
