Team Mechanical

Team mechanical came to my house and gave me an estimate for a new boiler. I agreed to the price and we set up the work to be done in August. One day before the scheduled install I got a call from them explaining they had to move me a week or so out. They would be in touch to set up another date. Ok no problem. A week goes by and I call them back.

We set up another date for the install in late September. The day before the installation I get another call saying they are down a worker and have to change dates. They were very apologetic, and said they would get back to me within a few days. A week goes by and I call and leave a message about setting up a date. No response. A few more days go by and I call the owners personal cell (which he gave me the number for) I leave another message.

I wasn't mean or angry, I was just looking to set up a time. No response. I start to get worried because it's now mid October and I need a new boiler before it gets cold. I call back and leave a message asking to please let me know if this is going to happen because winter is approaching. Nothing. No response, totally ghosted. So I had to scramble to find a new company to replace my boiler.

No one can do it until November. It's cold. I've got space heaters keeping my house from freezing. Standard Heating ended up installing a new boiler and they communicated every step of the process, even lending us some space heaters in the meantime. No thanks Team Mechanical! I run my own business and I can't imagine treating a customer this way. If they couldn't do the job I wish they would have just let me know. It would have saved me lots of hassle.

Replacing a boiler is not most people's idea of fun. I am a "tough" customer and I can honestly say that Team Mechanical made it as fun as it could be. From first contact to completion, Team was an actual pleasure to work with. The quality of the install is excellent and the people were absolutely professional. I am very pleased! Thank you Team!

These guys are great. They came through for me 8n an emergency, and did a fabulous job.

When our house had a huge freeze crisis, these were the only guys (of many we contacted) who were willing to do everything possible to minimize damage. Other companies wanted to wait for the house to warm before doing work, which would have led to massive damage from our broken radiators pouring water out. These guys were not only willing and able to do the work in the cold to prevent further catastrophe, but they did an excellent job for a very competitive price.

After that we of course wanted to use them to replace our boiler system, and we've used them several times since then. They're fast, attentive, and do great work. Can't ask for more.

I have used Team Mechanical for several issues over the years, the largest of which was purchasing and installing a Unico central AC system in our old house. I cannot express how responsive Mike and the rest of the crew are. They are a smaller business and provide personalized responses, and are consistently friendly, honest, respectful, professional, knowledgable, thorough, and somehow are still very competitively priced. I have not and will not hesitate to call them with any heating/cooling/gas line issues.

Dennis was able to fix an issue on our Nest thermostat on short notice due to wiring from an old HVAC still being attached to a disconnect. He was honest up front about pricing and took the time to do the job right.

John from Team Mechanical replaced my Slant Fin boiler from 1980 (60% eff.) with a 2019 Slant Fin (84.1% eff.) and my 18 year old water heater with a Amtrol Hydromax 41 gal. double-insulated water that that will run off the boiler. He did it all in 10 hours and left me very pleased that the renovation was done in one day. I give Mike the owner and John the installer the highest recommendation for quality work at a reasonable, fair price.

This team installed a Carrier AC in our attic 3 Year's ago, and did an amazing job! Last Thursday the thermostat went out due to not changing the batteries each year-the owner came on Friday and removed corrosion and got it working, for one of the hottest days this year! For FREE! Thanks for the kindness.

Wouldn't call anyone else, was quoted $750 to $1100 to fix an expansion tank issue. TEAM did the original boiler install so I called them out to look. No problem with tank, added water to system and all is fine. Great guys, ethical business.

I hired TEAM to replace an Amtrol Boiler Mate. Dennis was kind, courteous, informative and efficient. He installed a new unit. But he stated he preferred to defer pickup of the old unit until "early next week". A week later I spoke with Mike, who said someone would call to arrange pickup. Four days later I made another attempt to facilitate a pickup.

A few days later I spoke with Mike again. Only that morning had the order been written up to remove the old unit. He said someone would call to arrange the pickup. Another week has gone by and the old unit is still in the middle of my utility room. I would really like this old unit to be removed and the job to be completed.

Team Mechanical replaced a high velocity AC system in our home with a newer, more efficient model. We are very satisfied with the work performed. The job was accurately estimated and clearly explained. The crew did a great job and worked quickly and efficiently to finish ahead of schedule. They were friendly and cleaned up so that we never even knew they were there. Recommended.

We were driving through a south Minneapolis neighborhood this morning when a truck from Team Mechanical ran a stop sign going more than the speed limit and we were just barely able to stop (we had no stop sign) to prevent a very bad accident. In following the truck we got the name of the company, but only after he continued going over the speed limit and even through a school zone when children we going to school.

This company needs to better train its drivers. We called the company, and they apologized for the driver, but having some like this driving through our LInden HIlls neighborhood is not a good thing.
