I had quotes from 10k to 14k for 17 replacement windows for a house I am rehabbing for myself. Its not a flip so I wanted good quality. Advanced Window quoted me $6700 for all 17 windows and I ordered them. They were ready the day the said they would be and I picked them up a few days later. My contractor installed them and he was impressed with the quality.
They were exactly the size ordered and there were no problems installing them. They look great and gives my house the look I was going for. The windows are the 6300 series double hung. I would recommend Advanced Window products to anyone looking for good windows and a good price.

I had two different companies come over and Advanced gave the same information as the other company but had a quicker timeline and a lower price, for the same quality windows and installation. Everyone I worked with was friendly and professional, (shout out to Greg as he was my main contact) and I even got my windows installed early when an opening became available. I highly recommend

This is the second project I have had done by them, the first was a patio door remove/replace a few years ago, now did a remove/replace bedroom casement windows, I couldn't be happier! Horrible installation and installers. My senior Mom purchased 43 windows from this company less than a year ago and all of the windows are coming apart where the cork is and every window is leaking inside of the windows when it rain. We just notice the basement windows wasn't installed correctly several of the windows will not stay closed at the top, only if you put a stick in the window to keep it up.
This company is a big rip off. I can't believe they took my Mom money like this. She has a 12mth labor free and a lifetime on warranty the windows. The owner will not return my calls or my Mom calls and the sales person is very disrespectful. I do not recommend this company to anyone. They're trying to put the blame on the contractor but the contractor didn't install the windows Advanced Window did.

My cat ran into the screen, they were able to replace screen and frame while we waited to pick it up for a very low cost. Different issue a lock broke, I called advanced window they looked my record and mailed me the window lock for no cost. I installed all is great. This truly is a responsive and reliable company. Was told over the phone to bring my window in and it would be ready by 3:00 pm. I arrived at 9:15 and was told it wouldn't be ready until the next day by Adrian. The funny part is that I was ahead of someone else but they were told their window would be ready the same day. I didn't make a big deal but I was upset. Came back the next day and at 2:15 and Adrian told me why I was there early and that the window wasn't ready.
He also added it only takes ten min to do and to wait for it to be finished. I have a ground level house and couldn't leave for 2 days because of this. To close this review I would just like to say that it felt like my skin color was the factor for the inadequate costumer service.

The guys who installed our HUGE window and our tall, narrow window in our front porch were FANTASTIC. They worked clean, did an AMAZING job, and we couldn't be happier. They did such a great job and worked so hard, my husband gave them homemade chocolate chip banana bread. I would hire this company to install windows in a heartbeat. Thank you Advanced Window! We had an issue with one of our windows that was installed 3 years ago. Called Advanced and scheduled a service with Jack! The process was seamless and they came out quickly to fix the issue. These guys really stand behind their products and I'm happy that my contractor recommended Advanced windows! Highly recommend!

Advanced Windows was great to work with and have great windows. I had a cracked window that was under warranty and they responded quickly and without any hassles. Enrique replaced the glass expertly and I'm a very happy customer! Would definitely recommend them to my friends and family who may be looking for new windows.

I ordered a set of 11 casement windows in early June and was told 7 to 8 weeks for delivery. Its now September and I am being told it will be at least another 2 weeks before the last windows ship. I am very disappointed as I wanted to support a local Chicago business. I am waiting to see what the AW management team will do to make me happy, as I am contemplating canceling the order and going with another company. Update: 2/23/21: In spite of the delay, I worked with my installer to negotiate a discount for my order.
The windows were installed in late summer/early fall and we are satisfied with the result. One of the windows came damaged (noticible scratched) and when I pointed it out, they quickly got us a replacement same day. We were a bit surprised that we got "less window and more frame" with vinyl than our original wood windows, but that's the tradeoff for lower cost I suppose.
We also got built in blinds which is a nice but expensive feature (not sure we would do it again). Overall, I would say we got a fairly good value for our money, and they tried to make us happy despite the long delay.

I'll start this review by saying their prices are competitive and their windows are of decent quality but that's where it ends. My experience with Advanced has not been good to say the least. I sent out measurements and what I wanted and they wrote me up a quote pretty quickly. I confirmed the quote after looking everything over and payed the down payment.
That's when the issues started. After receiving the confirmation of the order I quickly glanced at it to make sure everything looked alright and I quickly noticed the price was not that which we agreed upon, after a quick call it was fixed, but that's mistake one on their end. After a few weeks I check online and it says my first batch order is ready a few days before the pick-up date, since I had time the next day I emailed the day before to confirm they were actually ready and can be picked up, and my salesperson confirmed they were.
I took the 1.5 hour trip down to pick them up and lo and behold they weren't ready, my salesperson couldn't take the 20 second walk to the back to make sure they were ready and I wasted an entire day because of it, and the best part it's my fault because I came early, that's mistake number two. Finally I get the confirmation that my second batch of windows were ready, these took longer because they were big and casements.
I had a friend and my dad go and pick them up as I was stuck at work, and when I got home I quickly saw it was not the correct window. I look at the original estimate and then at the confirmation order and indeed they changed what I wanted. When I called to try and make this right, they instantly blamed me and said I should have checked not them, and it's all my fault.
Of course when I asked for a manger they just gave me a runaround saying they were busy and would call me back.of course no phone call back. If you want to order from this place, go ahead, but make sure to check everything because any mistake on their end, they will blame you for it.

Thank you Advanced Window. Just got thru installing mine today. I've uploaded the pic, the finishing touches will be done tomorrow, but you can see this thing is a Beauty. I really like the design and expedited service. Home Depot told me 6 weeks, Advanced Window did it in 3 business days. Extremely Satisfied and Highly recommend them. Plus it's made in Chicago. Btw I ordered it thru Semko Inc, Highly recommend those guys too. Wanted to support my local business. Thank you again will be ordering in the future.

Good quality product at a competitive price, excellent installation service. My husband and I, being of Italian origin, were desperately looking for European style windows for our renovation project, and found that the tilt and turn produced by Advanced Window are definitely the best in the area. We experienced some delays in the production, and this was particularly frustrating for us because we had to change our moving plan, and we were also expecting our first child at the same time. however this was partially due to the extraordinary situation with CoViD-19, and Brandon in the customer service was always kind in trying and accommodate our needs at best. I highly recommend also working with their installer, Chris: his guys were very professional and did an amazing job!

I would like to seriously thank Advanced Window for their absolutely outstanding windows, patio door and amazing customer service. Daniel and his staff made my dream home become a reality. Please look at my photos. Do not waste your time with Next Day, Pella, Anderson, Feldco ect. They are just a waste of time and way over priced. My patio/rear door with side lights is built like an up armored military door. We have referred them to many of our family and friends. My windows are highly energy efficient, practical, and look amazing.

My house is four years old. I've noticed a broken seal on only one window, which happened to be the largest in the house. The resulting moisture between the panes was pretty subtle but we wanted to replace it before it got worse. We got absolutely no pushback on the warranty claim and AW promptly scheduled a replacement appointment. They showed up on time and promptly and neatly got the job done.
I thought the two guys who did that work were so professional and courteous that I sent the manager a note, which I rarely bother to do. I started to give a 4 star review, because the window failed, but I think that probably happens with most windows from time to time. The warranty does not include labor (mine was $350) but that is a function of comparing prices and warranties when picking a product. I was very satisfied with an interaction that I expected would be a pain.

I'm a former contractor who flips homes on the weekends and I've done a couple homes now with their windows. I can say they are a quality made window at an affordable price. I've installed the double hungs and casements and both have installed easily and were made to my exact dimensions. They also have a partition part that goes between multiple windows that are side by side that make for a nice look and an easy install so I didn't get to do a lot of extra work.
The seals seem to work well as I saw no real leaks in the cold winter and the glass keeps out the hot sun. None of the plastic has faded or turned yellow which is great. Customer service was fine but I knew exactly what I wanted so I can't really comment if you'll need help measuring. Overall, they're a great company to work with and I'll keep coming back. Wish they had a north side location though.

Just ordered windows from Home Depot because, every time I call here, the crusty guy at the front desk taking orders spends copious amounts of time telling me I'm measuring the windows incorrectly, that I'll need to give him 5 signatures saying I won't send the windows back, etc, etc instead of actually trying to walk me through the window measure if he really thinks I'm doing it wrong.
I know what a replacement window is so it's not that complicated. I wonder how many orders this company loses because they've got a grouch as the first point of contact there?

There was only one person to deliver our windows yesterday. My husband had to help him carry them and when asked if everything was here the driver said yes. Trusting the driver my husband signed. Bad mistake. Unfortunately we are missing four handles for our crank out windows. The sales representative was of no help and we were told we could either come pick them up, which is an hour drive from where I live one way or have the handles shipped to me but I would have to pay for it.
I called the sales rep again and was told the same information. Since the company did not bring everything I paid $6,000 for, I should not have to go out of my way or have to pay for it. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I would not recommend them whatsoever.

Ok.just placed my first order with AWC for windows - So far so good! - Started by sending an email with a quote request and actually got a reply within 24 hours from Greg - Image that! Then I spoke with Greg - Very professional and patient - Lastly I visit the showroom - lots of options displayed and cut outs to show what's inside the windows - Paul and Brandon were knowledgeable, helpful and patient - will update this review once window comes in.

I've had 3 double hung windows replaced with Advance Windows. My carpenter did all the work, in fact he was the one who recommended their windows because he liked the quality. I've had no complaints, the windows seem solid. Before this job we had an addition built onto our house, using an architect, had floor to ceiling windows(5), French doors & a few smaller windows.
We went with Pella-their mid grade line based on architect's experience. Nice windows but later I noted how much more substantial Advance windows were. And I trust my carpenter who did both jobs & preferred Advance. Sounds like many of the complaints on Yelp center around the installers, not the windows themselves.

Advanced Windows replaced a big front window for us about 5 years ago. It was not an easy job, and definitely not a standard window - it is arched and about 7 feet wide. The price was very good, they took care of everything during installation (molding, etc), and the window is great quality. This year, we had them replace a french door with a sliding door. Again, the price was less than Home Depot, the quality is very high and the installation was great. I recommend working with Mario. He takes his time to think about what would work best and has great advice. He never tried to oversell us on anything.

I needed a new sliding door for my condo balcony and did some research. Found Advanced mentioned on a big reddit thread about windows and where to buy in IL. Since I don't like far from the facility, my husband and I went and looked at the slider. We had talked to Jessica first, to be sure it was ok to just show up. She was super helpful and even took us into the warehouse to see our size door.
We took a name of an installer from her and ended up getting our slider from Advanced through EV Windows, our installer. We've had the door almost two weeks and are very happy with it.

I just read a one star review from a person who wanted one sash window replaced. I'm a GC in the Chicago area who has been buying and installing windows from Advanced for years. There is only one way I will buy from a different company, and that is if my client wants an unusual finish on the window, like a strange interior color of vinyl or something.
Their manufacturing process uses the best materials, the best and correct thickness of glass with the right butyl sealing process, and their warranty is rock solid. I once installed a window for a client in front of his kitchen sink. There was an imperfection that was barely noticeable but it was right at eye level. Kind of like that bug that hits your windshield right after you get it washed!
After installing the unit is when I noticed it. I called them up and in 45 minutes their truck was there with a replacement for that part of the awning window. BAM! Fixed. They also have a lifetime warranty on the frame and components and a 20 year warranty on the thermal seal (fogging). Shelby R of Morton Grove, here's a lesson in Home Repair 101.
If you can get a repairman out to fix a window for 66 bucks AND it includes the cost of the replacement sash which, if you read their warranty, is not covered when the glass is broken, consider it a GIFT. Try getting an offer like that from Jeld Wen, Champion, Pella, Anderson, anyone! The cost to venture out with a truck and an insured employee far exceeds the situation.
A trip to Morton Grove to fix one "out of warranty" window sash, even for $100 would have been doing you a favor. I've dealt with nearly everyone in that office and the truth of the matter reminds me of an old saying: You can catch more flies with honey than you can with vinegar. Lesson learned, Shelby. I have never bothered to write a review for a place, good or bad before. BUT I AM SO UPSET WITH THIS COMPANY THAT I AM TAKING THE TIME TO MAKE A YELP ACCOUNT TO WARN PEOPLE. I cannot say enough bad things about the unprofessional and careless manner in which this business is being run. Not a single person, from the associates who answer the phone, to even the owner (Robert) knows the definition of "customer service".
I have been dealing with this company for an entire month now (the first call I made to them was on July 18th and today, it is August 19th) and yet, my issue has YET TO BE RESOLVED. I called them several times in the last month because I have a crack in a window pane and their associates told me that it would cost me $50 to replace. I found that to be reasonable and said okay but I would not be able to bring them the glass, I needed them to do the un & re - installation.
The associate who picked up the phone at their store said that they will only do that if the window is purchased from them. Again, that sounded reasonable so I said I would confirm. When I called back yesterday to confirm that the window was theirs, a different associate (Jennifer) picked up and informed me that they would now charge me an extra $90 (on top of the previously agreed upon $50) for the installation. NOT A SINGLE PERSON IN THE STORE MENTIONED THIS CHARGE EVEN ONCE DESPITE ME ASKING THEM MULTIPLE TIMES ABOUT THE PROCESS.
When I told Jennifer about this, she couldn't care less and said to me "Well that was the responsibility of the person who you spoke to here before, not mine". ANYONE WHO ANSWERS THE PHONE FOR THE NUMBER LISTED FOR YOUR BUSINESS IS THE BUSINESS'S RESPONSIBILITY. IT IS THE OWNER, ROBERT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO TRAIN HIS ASSOCIATES. Not only was Jennifer rude and uninterested, she said to me "I AM the manager" and hung up on me when I asked for a manager.
I called back to speak to the owner, Robert, who was just as uninterested. Eventually, I gave up and told them that I would just figure out how to do the installation myself (after Robert gave me a condescending lecture about how "incredibly easy" it is and how "everyone knows how to do this". I called back today to give him the serial number of the glass as he had requested.
I asked to speak to him as I have already had bad experiences with the incompetence of his staff. He told me he "does not have time for this because he is "very busy". WHAT ABOUT THE ENTIRE MONTH THAT I WASTED ON THE PHONE WITH HIS STAFF? Is he the only person in this world that has work to do?! He then shoved me off to an associate named Mario.
