Montell Construction demolished our old deck and built a new covered screened in composite deck. The entire process was seamless. We just had a stairs and deck project completed by the best crew ever! Kelly, Jodie and Kyle did an absolutely amazing job. They paid attention to every single detail, had the best work ethic, safety measures and offered answers to as many questions as we had! Bud, Savannah, and Dylan removed an old deck and constructed a new deck in our backyard which included new siding on the lower part of our house. They went above and beyond in their jobs. There were some obstacles to work around and they always made it a positive. Our 25+ year old deck wasn't just cleanup of wood, there were leaves and other debris under the old deck.

They were very professional and excellent at their jobs, when asked gave us good advice on care and cleaning. Chris the designer was a great help to us designing our deck with a budget we could afford. We are very happy with our new deck and would use Montell again on our next project. The reason I did not rate Good Value has nothing to do with Montell it has to do with the cost of wood. Thank you to all the Montell people involved.

We heard they were the best in the greater Grand Rapids area for deck construction and I can say our opinion matches up with that as well. The team of Bud, Savannah and Dylan were top notch! They answered all my questions.even the stupid ones.with a very professional, light hearted and fun demeanor. They met our expectations which was very high due to the cost of the project which was much higher than we anticipated. However, if you want top notch construction, materials and service and are willing to pay for it, then contact the team at Montell construction as they are sure to not disappoint.

I have been wanting to get rid of my deck for awhile, and I called Montell Construction to get a quote. I was very impressed by the quality of the rooms I was shown and the speed of the service once the room was ready to be added. Obviously, the supply chains were slow during Covid, but eventually we were given a start date. The team that worked on my house, , Kelly, Kyle, and Matthew, were amazing!

Holy cow did they work fast! I really appreciated how careful they were with my yard during the whole construction phase. And their attention to detail was really amazing. They were professional, courteous, respectful, and helpful. Because of how great Kelly, Kyle and Mattthew were, I would never hesitate to use Montell again.

The absolute Worst experience of our lives. Horrible customer service! Horrible quality! We had less problems building our entire home 20 years ago then we did on this 1 week project!

2 years after getting a new roof with Montell, it started leaking at the chimney. We received excellent service from Service Manager Don Perry and the situation was handled within 48 hours.

We hired Montell to take down our old wooden deck and upgrade to a new Trex composite deck. The entire process was easy and the end result was even better than we expected. This September, Montell Construction did a fantastic job planning and building a 740 sq ft deck on our house. We met with George (the owner), then worked with Jeff to plan/design, and Terry to lead the construction.

We recently had Montell Construction come and install our deck. We were impressed by the professionalism and courtesy of the workers. They were always on time, kept the worksite clean, and even listened to the local christian radio station while they were working.

Was very displeased with the representative who came out. He came out to do a deck and siding quote. He never once talked to me about siding. He was to busy telling me how expensive they were and how most of their clients drive Lexus and Mercedes.
