I founded my business in 1988 because, as a Master Electrician and small business owner, I can place more emphasis on personal service. My 30+ years of experience gives customers the skills and technical expertise they need at an affordable price. I have owned a home in White Bear Lake, Minnesota for the past 27 years.If you live in St. Paul or the surrounding area, you may have seen my truck in your neighborhood! My father was a Master Electrician, and as a teenager, I recognized that I wanted to follow in my father's footsteps. He enjoyed being an electrician and was a good teacher. My subsequent career with large electrical contractors offered me experience in all areas of electrical work, new construction, remodeling, service upgrades and repairs.

When you have more electrical devices connected to a circuit that was not intended to take that amount of electrical current, the circuit breaker is designed to trip. For example, when a circuit that is designed for 15 Amps of current is being used for devices that require a total of 20 Amps, the circuit breaker will trip to prevent overheating and a possible fire.

Just moved into a home with no lights in the living room! Called Andre and he was here within the hour. Gave us a fair bid. Two days later he is here, on time, doing the work! Super nice guy, happy and friendly. Wanted to support local business, and I am glad I did. He is also being very clean and careful with the installation. Can't wait to have the lights on!

Andre recently took on a few electrical projects at our old 1915 house and was fantastic to work with. He was responsive, and when listening to the issues we were having was able to quickly troubleshoot a solution for each which would work best and most cost effectively to suit our needs. He's a hard worker, and was all around awesome to work with.

Andre is very reliable and professional. He even came to my home on a Sunday when I couldn't get any other electricians to come out. We've had several electrical issues from faulty circuits to switches that he was quick to diagnose and repair. He always answered his phone when I called, really knows his business and was quick to repair our problems.

I woke up one morning and my house temperature had dropped a good ten degrees. I tried what I could to get the furnace running again but the LED light that shows if power was reaching it was off. I needed an electrician. I told Andre the issue and he showed up the same morning and fixed it very quickly!

I had Andre come over for several lighting fixture installments. He was so very friendly and most accommodating to what I needed and how I wanted it done. One light fixture didn't look right so he removed it and put another one up instead. His fees were very competitive. I would give his name to anyone I know who needs his type of service. Also, he cleans up after his installs.

Andre added additional circuits to two levels of an older home. Extremely pleased with the job that Andre did for us. Andre came out the next day after our phone call and gave an estimate which we accepted. He came a couple of days later - as promised - to do the job. Very pleased with the quality and efficiency work of Andre's Electric.

Andre wired a dedicated circuit for my microwave. He charged much less than what he could have and came out right after I called him. I'm very satisfied with his work and was relieved that he didn't have to tear apart my bathroom ceiling to get a wire from my downstairs laundry room to the kitchen. I feel that Andre's expertise is immense. I will hire him again.

Absolutely terrible! Andre said he would be out by 1 P.M. Friday Sept. 3rd to install three outdoor led floodlights. He called a second time for directions at 1:30 P.M. Between then and 6:30 P.M. I had my children picked up and dropped off at home awaiting his arrival. After 4 attempts to call and/or leave voicemail he never called and never showed! Trying to give business to a local businessman and that's what I got.

If it were possible to give 0 stars, I would. I contacted Andre's Electric on three separate occasions to have him provide some electrical work on my house. Each time, he never bothered to return my phone call. I'm all for supporting local businesses. I'm also all for satisfactory customer service, which is why I wouldn't give him any stars, if it were possible. I understand if his business is so booming he can't take on new customers, but at least have the decency to inform me.

Andre has done a good amount of work around my house: wiring a new bathroom in my basement, installing outlets in my basement (I seriously only had outlets on one wall before he got his hands on it), re-wiring my main bathroom during a remodel and re-wiring, and creating new outlets in my kitchen. He has always been straight forward and fair in his pricing and letting my know what needs to be done and explains things so that I understand. Oh, and he does great work and is dependable--what more can you ask for?!
