Nelson has long believed that giving back to the community is important. It not only helps out those in need but it also helps keep our company and our employees grounded in what it really means to be part of a community. Nelson not only donates money, but also gives with expertise. In recent years Nelson has worked on 15 Habitat for Humanity homes and one Tree House project.Nelson has also made monetary contributions to Down Syndrome, Red Cross, Salvation Army, Caring and Sharing Hands, VFW post 246, local food shelves and Longfellow Healthy Seniors on an annual basis. Nelson believes in reusing and recycling and has donated three cars to Caring and Sharing Hands over the years as well.

I can't say enough nice things about Nelson Electric. They have now worked on multiple homes for me. From completely re-wiring an entire house including the panel to figuring out some crossed wires in another, they have never recommended something out of left field and operated with the highest integrity.

I hired Nelson Electric to do some electrical work on a house I had for sale. I was in a time crunch and chose them because they were in my neighborhood. I was very pleased with their office staff as well as the electrician who came out to the property to do the work. He was on time and very professional. I would highly recommend!

Nelson installed a 50 amp outlet in my garage to charge my car. The work quality could not have been better and the price was fair. Another local company named after a pioneer of electricity quoted me over 2x what the invoice from Nelson was. There only issue was that their online contact form didn't seem to work.

NEI was chosen to design and build a 1600A 277/480V service to supply 250 guest rooms for a major hotel in the Metro area. Including swapping out air handlers with power and control wiring and a major renovation of the central boiler system. The project involved creative ideas and planning, close planning and design with local inspectors and other contractors.
