We recently upgraded our home's electrical service from 60 amp fuses to a robust 200 amps. Throughout the entire process, we were extremely impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of everyone we dealt with at Nordeast Electric. They also helped to guide us through often-confusing protocols with Xcel, which may have derailed us without their assist.

The conversion itself was an impressive combination of skill and experience, all while being completed more quickly than we had anticipated. Attention to detail was outstanding and much appreciated. Even the inspector recognized the excellent work that he has come to expect from Nordeast Electric's projects. We could not be happier with the results and will not hesitate to recommend Nordeast Electric to anyone looking for help with electrical projects.

We recently hired Nordeast to replace knob and tube wiring and upgrade to 150 amp service at our 104 year old house--a big job that took more than 2 weeks. We were extremely impressed with how professional, thorough, communicative, flexible, prompt, and easy to work with Nordeast was. Brent and his team made the process as painless as possible for us, keeping us updated throughout the entire job. It's obvious that Brent takes a lot of pride in his work. I would not hesitate to recommend Brent and Nordeast to others.

Jake and Austin were at the site for the better part of a week, and Bob was there for all or part of one day. All three, and especially Jake in his lead role, were very professional, responsive and knowledgeable about the work required. I very much appreciated that Jake updated me regularly on progress and fully discussed options with me when new information about the conditions they found as they learned the locations of some of the wiring. Also, I was kept fully informed of any additional costs that arose based on options that were offered based on conditions found. What could have been stressful was actually a positive experience.

We decided to remodel our kitchen, and there was a ton of electrical work that needed to be done. We needed new outlets, new lights, a new sub panel, new switches, old switches moved, and a lot of rewiring as our home's existing wiring was a disaster. We are so glad we hired Nordeast Electric. We shopped around and in addition to giving us the best quote, they were friendly, flexible, considerate, efficient, communicative, had good advice, and were able to accommodate scope changes on the fly. They absolutely nailed it and we passed inspection easily. We couldn't be happier with our new kitchen and highly recommend Nordeast Electric!

Great expirence with Nordeast. Strongly recommend as they are honest, competitive prices and complete the work as agreed and follows the current codes. Nordeast has completed smaller jobs for me and are always on time and got the job done. They also updated my bathroom electrical. Communication was awesome during this project as they had to make multiple trips to complete the rough in and final work. They also coordinated the inspections with the state.

Brent and his team continue to provide excellent electrical service and they are the only electricians we use. In our most recent project we had them install ceiling fans/lights in each of our bedrooms as well as recessed lighting in our kitchen. They clearly showed us all of our options for the project as well as pricing, worked quickly and left the house looking perfectly clean when they were done.

Our fans ran into issues due to manufacturer errors and Brent went out of his way to help us solve the problem and find a solution that works beautifully! We highly recommend them. Their pricing is fair, work is excellent, and they remain one of the best companies we've worked with.

Sean and Bob have both done terrific work for us, figuring out things that other electricians haven't been able to solve. Nordeast did a service upgrade and panel overhaul at my house, and I couldn't be happier with their workmanship. Today was the second time Nordeast Electric has provided great service. The first time, years ago, was an emergency on a weekend and I never forgot their responsiveness. So fast forward I had a list of things needing attention that I put off for years. Sean took the time to go through the list, explaining costs and viability (I have a house built in 1912 and has "issues").

My scope had changed from when I orginally scheduled their services and he was helpful and unfazed by the change to my priorities. In the end, he did most of what I needed, in budget. The things I didn't have done were simply because I was unwilling to expand my budget. Their prices are fair and realistic, and I appreciated understanding the scope of some of the things I originally wanted done.

I have no hesitation to recommend them, and I know the work done is top notch. Also, shout out to Austin for delivering last minute materials that were part of my expanded scope of what I wanted done, and jumping in to work on some of the projects.

I said this on Facebook and I'll say it again here: this is the best electrician service in the Metro. They've been over multiple times to deal with the many problems of our 130 year old house, from removing the hook and tube wiring to installing new light fixtures in several rooms, and their work has always been exemplary. The pricing is more than fair, they arrive on time, they explain things in clear, practical ways, and every electrician that I've met has been exceptionally nice - which is a definite bonus when a person has a lot of projects that need doing. We've been thrilled with their service and will never go anywhere else.

We bought an old home that still had a lot of knob and tube wiring along with some hack job upgrades throughout the home over the years. Lots of safety hazards and weird conduit on the walls throughout the house. We had Nordeast essentially rewire the entire home as well as upgrade us to a 150 amp panel. All of the work was very professional and the panel is organized and well labeled. They suggested some future fixes that weren't immediate safety concerns. Very highly recommend Nordeast, and specifically Brent for any electrical work.

Excellent service, beyond knowledgeable and transparent in their work and came in under estimate. What's not to love. Bob and crew go above and beyond. Had NE Electric come out to inspect another companies work and install two fans. I have a very old home and they were extremely thorough neat and most of all honest. They walked me through everything. Top notch professionals! Services: Fan installation, General repairs

My living room power went out so I suspected the circuit breaker needed replacement. I called a couple electricians and I'd have wait about 2 weeks to get an appointment! Nordeast Electric was the easiest to talk with and ultimately instead of an appointment, I was put on stand-by. 24 hours later, they called saying an electrician would arrive in 30 minutes.

A very nice electrician arrived and checked out the breakers and the wiring. He explained everything about my old circuit box and the breakers it held. Since my breakers were so old, he had to call a coworker to bring out a few from their warehouse. About 5 minutes later, the new breakers arrived and two were replaced. I am so very satisfied with all the professional help I received.

I give Nordeast Electric 5 "gold" stars! Also a plus is I didn't need to pay that day. I received an invoice by email and paid online. I paid for the service call which includes one hour of labor, $195, and for two breakers. My total cost was $240. Yay, power restored to the living room within 24 hours!

Very impressed with Nordeast Electric. I was nervous about calling an electrician but read great reviews on this company and they did not disappoint! My technician arrived on time, was very friendly, and was willing to be realistic with me about the projects he could accomplish within my budget. He was able to fix 2 of my top issues and I will definitely be calling back in the future for the rest of our electrical issues that we want to work on!

Nordeast Electric helped update our kitchen from old florescent lighting to a modern look, as well as installed new outlets and updated old ones throughout our kitchen. The team was very friendly to work with and they provided a modern customer service experience - estimates and invoices were all provided and approved through an online process, text notices prior to their arrivals, etc.

Most importantly to me, they took the time to talk through options and shared rationale for decisions. They were competitively priced, did the work on time, on budget and always took care to leave the work area clean. I never felt nickel and dimed or that there would be hidden fees. I will definitely use them next time I have electrical work to be done.

I absolutely loved working with Nordeast! They were very prompt, communicative, fast working and left us with great results! They had to completely redo the wiring to four of our ceiling lights in our 100 year old house and they accomplished all four tasks in under a day and a half. Not only did they get all four lights working again, but they also cleaned up behind themselves and even put back our furniture!

I was so impressed with how clean our home was the night between the two working days and when they finished the projects. I cannot stress this enough: they had to drill several holes in our ceiling and walls in order to complete the job and when they left there was not one speck of dust anywhere! They were also very sweet and funny. Bonus: They love cookies, so if you want to befriend these guys maybe offer some!

I discovered Nordeast in 2010 after doing a lot of internet research on local electricians who were highly rated on non-paid review sites; at that time I narrowed it down to three, of which Nordeast was one. I went with them then because Bill, the owner of the business, not only encompassed the project but on the spot figured out ways to save me money.

The job was done fast, well, and fairly priced. So, fast forwarding to 2018, with a new residence that needed substantial electrical work, I went straight to Nordeast, which in the meantime had generated even more (entirely deserved) rave reviews. My co-owners and I had a massive project involving updating and adding electrical outlets, wires, lights, etc. on every floor from basement to attic on our duplex.

Bill has a crack team that's experienced and on top of every detail. They checked in with us multiple times to review options for various things we needed to do before implementing us, which was great for keeping us and them exactly on the same page. As before, the work was done efficiently and well and for a very good price considering how MUCH of it there was!

Every chance I get, I recommend them to people I know who need electrical work done, as well as to our online neighborhood club. Bill and his people are fantastic to work with, and the pricing is entirely fair and competitive

I sent them an email via their website late one night after having my main breaker go bad on my electrical panel. The next morning I had a response waiting for me when I woke up explaining the danger of the situation and was told they could have someone out ASAP. This is the only company that bothered to call me back out of the probably 10-12 that I contacted.

They showed up within an hour right when they said they would and helped work through the problem and helped to find ways to save money and minimize impact on the home. I ended up needing a whole new panel and Brent was able to get it done in a day working mostly alone. He was professional, explained the what and why of the project, and was personable and courteous. I have no complaints at all about the quality of service or work.

Besides its great workmanship, Nordeast is a pleasure to work with! They come right away whenever there's a problem, then finish the work quickly and for the price they estimate. Their managers and employees are pleasant and competent. I wouldn't call anyone else.

We needed to have knob & tube wiring removed from our attic and rewire the entire second floor. We added light switches instead of pull chain lights to three bedrooms and the bathroom as well as updating all the outlets. We also had a Carbon Monoxide/Smoke Detector unit hardwired into the ceiling for safety purposes. They added two outlets we didn't require for free since it made their work easier.

They sent three electricians instead of the two we expected and were able to complete the whole job in one day. We had gotten 7 quotes and not only was their bid the least expensive, the owner who came to do the bid was very informative, gave us options to choose from and came through with all we wanted perfectly. The guys were neatly dressed in company shirts with their names on them.

They were kind and worked diligently. One even offered to move a large plant of mine outside if I wanted. They cleaned up their mess from cutting plaster and drilling. They were 110% better than we could have hoped. I highly recommend Nordeast Electric to come to your home and do your electrical work. Bill, the owner, was so awesome during the free estimate at our home. He stopped in to check on his guys. He always had a smile and was even a funny guy. Very professional. They were fantastic.
