The technician that arrived was VERY professional and RESPONSIVE to our needs. Our A/C had frozen up and stopped working. He diagnosed the problem and corrected it. During his first visit he discovered a part was not installed at the time of construction, he also at this time checked to make sure the drain lines flowed correctly. He ordered the missing part and on his second visit installed the part and again checked that everything was working correctly. With the quality of service I will be keeping Long's phone number handy.

Home AC went out over Memorial Day holiday. Contacted Long Heating and Air. Office staff was pleasant and helpful! Kyle, the Technician, arrived even before appointment, was professional and personable. Walked me through possibilities. Called in to check prices with Jason, who was also professional and personable. Jason kept me up to speed with order of unit and earliest possible install date. I found along Heating and Air to be great to work with and I recommend then to meet your AC / Heating needs.

Long Heating and Air just recently replaced my heat pump and furnace after after coming out to try and revive a 20+ year old system. I was given some options by their service technician (Angel) and after his recommendation, I decided it was time to buy new units. I then talked with Jason and he was able to help me find the best deal available, and he made me aware of the payment options, financing etc., and any discounts that they offer.
There was not a high pressure sales pitch from the service technician (Angel) or Jason. We discussed what would best fit my budget and needs, and they were extremely honest and upfront from start to finish. I scheduled the appointment for install and Long Heating and Air installers arrived before the appointment time and finished in an efficient and thorough fashion.
They cleaned up all old equipment and double checked gas lines, thermostat, electrical hookups and refrigerant hookups/lines for leaks or problems. Kevin, a member of the install crew, walked me through what they installed, made sure I understood the function of the thermostat, and did not leave until I was happy with their work. Spending your hard earned money for any type of service at your home can be stressful, but Long Heating and Air's team of people made this as easy and as stress free as it could be. I am grateful for their help and even more grateful that I have a company that I can rely on for support and service in the future.

Long came to my house to diagnose an AC problem. The tech told me I needed a new fan which is located in the furnace. He gave me a quote on the fan replacement and a quote to replace the entire furnace. He told me to contact the office with any questions. I had several questions and called the number on the website and asked to speak to the person the tech referred me to.
No answer and his voicemail was a different person. I called back, explained what I needed and was sent to another number for the same person. Again no answer and the voicemail was a different person. This happened four times until I was told the man I was calling was in meetings all day and to leave a message on the voicemail I was connected to, which I did.
That was on Friday, May 20. Today is Friday, May 27 and I still have not been contacted. I assumed earlier in the week that they did not want my business so I had the furnace replaced by a different business. I'm giving them two stars because the tech was good, on time, and helpful. It was the rest of the staff who dropped the ball.

We had Long Heating & Air come out as part of warranty service call for our A/C unit. Technician was great! Extremely thorough - found the issue quickly but continued to check everything else to make sure it was all in good order. Respectful, friendly, and gave some good tips/recommendations. First of all, this unit had a new coil put in in December (only 3 years old) and Long was very helpful in getting that done. Of course, the air hadn't been needed since, but was turned on this past weekend, and did not work. Angel came out the day after I called and was great. He found the new problem (more leaks) and explained in detail what he did to fix them.
He also explained that the fix might not hold if the part itself is bad (time will tell) and was proactive in calling his boss to see what they could do for me, should that occur. Good people!

Our house got struck by lightning and fried the compositor and a fuse. Technician came out, quickly figured out the issue, fix it and restore the heat. He also recommended a surge protector to help us not have this issue again in the future! He was kind and professional. I am very happy and warm again. Long previously performed service on my furnace which required the large duct to be removed from the furnace. The duct was reattached, but over time the duct connection came apart. I called Long and they repaired the connection quickly(the next day) after my call. The service tech was knowledgeable, very professional and finished the job quickly. I was very satisfied.

Five stars goes to our technician, Kyle. I had almost decided to switch to another HVAC company. Kyle changed my mind and proved that Long's is capable of being just as good as any company out there. He was thorough in his maintenance tasks, professional, and kind. The previous technician went so far as to use our ladder instead of bringing his off the truck.

We purchased a new home in October. The AC worked perfectly but when it came time for the furnace it did not work. Long Heating and Air had to troubleshoot for a while to find the difficulty. The new unit had a bad gas valve. The part was not in stock but was ordered and installed. The unit works wonderfully now. The technician was very professional and kept us informed of his progress. We were very impressed with him. As the unit was under warranty we did not pay anything for the services so I cannot comment on the price.

They did an excellent job, very satisfied! The gentleman told me that I actually did have the z-wave thermostat model despite what the smart home people told me. He even shared that I didn't have to hook up my thermostat to the smart home to control it remotely, because Honeywell already has an app for that. I hate being over-connected, so that was a very useful tip for me! Thanks so much folks!

Brandi Lewis is INCREDIBLE! I have been waiting on a part for my furnace for 3 months. I would call to check on the status of the part and was not given hopeful information. Brandi then was hired to be in charge of the parts department. Once again, last week, I called to check on the status of the part. I spoke with Brandi. Even though she had. inherited my situation, she took complete responsibility.
She told me she would check on the part's status. She actually called me back several times to keep me informed. Brandi called the distributor and didn't take no for an answer. My part was delivered and installed yesterday. Brandi took control of the problem and solved it swiftly and efficiently. She is priceless! If it weren't for Brandi I would still be waiting on my part to arrive, fearing as time crept on that my old fan would completely stop and my daughter and I would have no heat. Thank you Brandi!

CALL SOMEONE ELSE I am in brand new home, and coming from Illinois, have a habit of checking heat before I need it. My heater doesn't work. Call Long back in October. Takes three days to get a callback so I can explain the problem. Finally get a technician out, fan is broken. It's brand new, but Long didn't build the equipment, but I would have expected them to test a brand new unit and realize it's broken.
I was told by technician I would get a phone call next day to talk about when I could expect the part to get in. It took two more weeks to speak to someone. I called and left messages, and was told I would be called back. Never happened. So one day I finally get ahold of someone. They say they'll check with vendor and call next day. It has been another two weeks.still nothing.

This was the best service we have ever had. Everyone was so sweet so professional and very accommodating. The team of people we had did everything in their power to make sure my mother and I had the upmost quality of care while they were installing the new heating and air units. They walked us through the process of installation as well as providing the knowledge on how to use our new thermostats.

Long was responsive to our call for a lack of heat issue. The mechanic Kyle was timely. & courteous. He called in advance to be sure we were home. He diagnosed the problem as a flame igniter & indicated he would put in a request for the part & have the office call us w/ timing for the part. He did a good job. Thanks

Been a loyal customer for 3 years, in fact they installed our furnace. But 2 years now of not returning pre-paid service calls and now a high-pressure sales tactic, and we called it quits. Definitely looking for another service, for pre-paying for services and being a loyal customer doesnt get you anywhere when you need a basic maintenance visit. Calling out Darlene, specifically, who never called back, again pressured us to pre-pay and gave us a date for maintenance 2 months after our original request. Beware!

Wanted to drop a note to express my appreciation for my first service with Long HVAC. Jason was the technician working at my house. I was very pleased with Jason's punctuality, professionalism and friendly demeanor. He took the time to both explain the process in advance and when a part tested bad he actually showed me the result of the test of that part.

I wanted to follow up with you that the new AC system is working GREAT! With the duct work that has been done previously, the dampers are able to keep the house at different temperatures on both levels. We were not able to accomplish this before with the other system! I will be recommending Long Heating and Air to my friends in the neighborhood when their AC's need to be replaced!

I contacted Long Heating about installing two new systems for us, after getting two other bids i went with them because of the 10 year parts & labor, Lifetime Unit replacement on my compressor and their commitment to a one day install. They started early Monday on my first system and didn't leave until it was up and running, then came back the next day and repeated the process.
