Liberty Plumbing & Septic

We manage alot of properties. We called, they came out. The tech, Dawson came out to the property & directly spoke with me over the phone to get permission to start the process. I said How much will it be? Dawson responded $350.00 for a P-trap extension & pop up assembly. I responded, that seems like an excessive price for what needs to be done. He said "I can call my manager & double check." I said that would be great.

We got off the phone & another representative from our company was waiting at the home so he was able to have access. The other representative is on hold on my other cell phone while I speak with Dawson. This guy Dawson gets in his car & drives off. HE NEVER SAID ANYTHING! Like did you speak with the manager? Was that the correct price or the wrong price?!

We have no idea because he just quietly got in his car & drove away. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. We would never recommend this company. This young kid should be held responsible for pulling a stunt like that. You all have a brand to protect & that type of behavior from DAWSON is horrible. This is probably why this company has 3.9 stars.

Ok not sure why the negative reviews. They people actually answered when I called. Quoted me a price and a time. Came when they said. Kayla in the office was courteous on the phone and gave me pricing for a needed riser for easy filter cleaning. Very reasonable. Travis and Sir the 2 service techs were nice and worked hard for my last 2 ice cold Cherry Cokes. Definitely would recommend these folks again. And now I will be set up with a preventive schedule with them.

Great customer service! They stand behind their work! They did everything they could to take care of me when I was in a bind! I highly recommend them. Quality people like Jerry Prescott run quality businesses like Liberty Plumbing and Septic. This is hard to find this in today's world but you can find it here!

Set up scheduled time to have a pump truck designated to arrive week in advance. Day of canceled. I would understand if a truck broke down but because its a commercial building is no excuse. You have the address and you decide to cancel last minute with City Officials involved and a Corporate account. Good Luck but I cant believe anyone uses your services.

After problem after problem with another septic company, a friend recommended Liberty. They came out for a free estimate only an hour after I called. They were very efficient, expedient, and easy to work with. They got the permits they needed, began work right away, and were done with the whole process in no time. I love that they answer the phone quickly and are very quick about answering questions and calling back when they need to. If you are looking for a company that will get the job done thoroughly and quickly, give them a shot.

Made a call to them though the overnight/emergency line early Sunday morning. After not reviving the promised call back at the start of business day Monday morning we were told by the receptionist "No we didn't bother to check those and now we are booked the whole day. We will try and squeeze you in tomorrow morning" The guy finally got to the house around 215pm to replace the pump on the septic tank, which was still under warranty.

We then get a bill for over $500 dollars because they billed us for 2.5 hours at $187/hr. It took him until 4pm to replace the pump, a job they have to do nearly every year which normally takes no more than 30 minutes due to VERY easy access to the septic system. We still have the invoices from each time they have done this and it should have been ~$190 to $200.

After calling the office to inquire why the pump install is costing 2.5 times the normal rate we were told "Because that's the price". We complained the price was absurdly high and they said "Well we will do 350, but if you don't pay it right now we will send the guy back out to take the pump out" Mind you this is a pump we PAID FOR already all they were doing was a warranty install. Requests to speak to the owner about this obvious gouging have been ignored

I would just like to give a word of praise to Liberty Plumbing and Septic. From the salesman (David Loaring), owner (Jerry Prescott), and the many individuals that made up the team (Jimmy, Joey, Oliver and John). They were all very cordial and treated me with respect. David came out promptly and looked everything over and then sent me an email with the proposal as requested.

I wanted everything very detailed and he accommodated me in every way. We set a date and they showed up on that date and had the job completed except for the hydroseeding in 2 1/2 days. The only holdup was the county for the permit. It took almost 2 weeks to get the permit, and when they got the permit, they were out the next day starting the job. The company is deserving of 5 stars as they done everything in a professional and timely manner and worked with me as I wanted everything. Thanks for a job well done!

If I could give this company a 0 rating I would. I called this company out because my system was backing up and come to find out it was my pump that had gone out. They quoted me high to begin with, after talking to my neighbor I found this out because he recently had his pump replaced then I called the owner back and advised that the quote was too high and had to negotiate a deal.

This company has misled and deserted us. Very disappointing, as their reviews led us to believe we'd found a company willing to help us.

Very professional and incredibly considerate! Excellent manners and punctual! From the moment I called the office to the end of the job, these guys were on top of it! Finally a business that knows how it's done.

They came out Mar 4 to pump out septic tank for $250, but the operator said I also needed a drainfield study done for $125 more to see if I needed more than a pump out. I agreed, so they returned next day, Mar 5, to pump out and stick a probe into the ground in area around the tank check to soil and drainage (took about 15 extra minutes, no notes or drawings were done).

The operator said it looked like I needed a new drainfield but their expert, David, will need to look at it and get back with me to discuss his findings and solutions/costs. But, I had to pay full amount of $375 today for the pump and probe. Long story, short version: I have called this company many times during last 51 days, it is now April 27, 2015 only to be put on hold by their clerk or put off by their expert, David, who always has a reason to need to do some more study or look at the data some more and he promises to call me back later that same day.

Only problem is he never calls me back and this has happened FOUR times now. It looks like a SCAM TO ME to charge $ 375 for a $ 250 job. I checked other companies who only charge $200 to pump out so Liberty was a little higher, but they had a 4+ star rating so I used them. However, my dealings with them shows they are really a ZERO star company ( I had to give one star as survey minimum). Be careful with this company, I certainly can not recommend them, PERIOD.

As a contract and new home builder. Easy Homes 123, LLC, we use liberty and have for years. they deliver a great product and a fair price. We have recommended them to other homeowners and contractors to help get the job done.

My sewer water was backing up into the house and Liberty Plumbing & Septic suggested that they start by pumping out the septic tank, since that would be the easiest fix and the most probable cause. Matt came out and pumped the tank. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Unlike some other companies, he did not try to tell me that my drain field needed to be replaced.

He checked it out and said it was fine. He also checked to be sure the pipes from the plumbing fixtures in the house were not clogged. That was easy to check by flushing the toilets and watching how fast the water came out the inlet pipe. Matt explained all sorts of things about how to maintain my system and said not to pump it for another five years. What a wonderful experience. These folks are the best. They are very honest and they know what they are doing. I highly recommend them.

Called Monday morning with overflowing septic at a rental house. Explained in great detail that the septic tank was under the house, but was accessed by previous septic pump providers. The office staff told me they would call back and let me know if they could do it. I was called an hour later and told the driver could do it. The driver called me at 3 pm and said he would not do the job because it was under the house.

Another day with an overflowing tank while I call every septic company in Polk County trying to get this job done. I called Liberty Plumbing first because they had an A+ Better Business Bureau rating.
