Shane Fence

Had a problem with my driveway gate. Came out next day, replaced battery and adjusted gate for perfect operation. Very reasonable on price. Have used them for years.

Shane was excellent to work with! He was prompt and showed up when he said he would every time. His pricing is honestly a great value for the quality work that his guys do. Posts are set deep and straight as an arrow and the panels are expertly welded. Special attention was paid to make sure the details flowed from panel to panel so the job didn't look awkward.

High quality hardware was chosen as standard and his guys even did some excellent field welding when they noticed my yard wasn't as level as they thought. I asked Shane to ensure we had a seamless opening in the fence for our mailbox and his guys whipped one up for me with no complaints even though I was definitely being a little nit-picky with the design. Shane's work and professionalism set him apart but his best quality really is that he's a super nice and genuine person and a pleasure to work with. Thanks again Shane, I know who to reach out to the next time I need any other fence work done!

Had a great experience. Very high quality. Everything correct the first time. Spotless cleanup when done. The job involved repair and restoration of a large metal gate, installation of a new gate pole (for a large gate), and over 400 ft of 8ft cedar fencing with gates. Everyone who worked on the job was very friendly, willing to make adjustments and very skilled, and the materials were all high quality. The fence has been up 4 mos and there are no splits or warps. Shane's has done a few jobs in our area, they all turned out great and everyone is pleased.

Shane is a nice guy and I reckon he's sincere about wanting to produce quality work, but they are simply too busy, too rushed, and build nowhere near to the quality for their prices. I had to stop them a few times as they built our fences: they failed to build them straight and then complained about the time it took to make them straight. They added gate hinges in the wrong place after I was specific about where to add them, and complained about the time it took them to fix their own mistakes.

They wanted to be paid in full before the job was finished and threw a little fit when we said no we'd pay when it was finished. They were weeks late starting the job, they failed to haul away the old fence when they said they would, and now I just discover their guys had an actual fight with our neighbor during the install, AND they only used concrete on every second post along one side. Shane talks a good game, but these guys are so sloppy I'm not even going to try to get them back to fix what they did wrong. NEVER AGAIN.

Surprised by some of these reviews because we've had numerous jobs completed by Shane's Fence company and have been very pleased. The work has been completed in a timely manner and the quality of the work has been consistantly great! Another thing that's really important to me is follow up on the work and being able to reach someone after they have been paid. Today, I called Shane out of the blue, to ask him a few questions and to get a quick adjustment on my fence due to the ground settling, making the fence a little low. He came by immediately himself, took a few seconds to adjust the fence, answered the questions as polite as ever and charged me nothing. That's customer service friends!

Shane and his crew did a great job and built a quality product that is going to last a LONG time. Shane is busy (because they're that good!), but kept me updated on when he'd be able to do our fence, he got the permits promptly, and his crew was extremely professional. Beautiful fence, great quality, came in and got it all done in a few days' time, just like he promised. The crew cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommend Shane's Fence Co.

I would gladly change this one star review to a higher rating if they ever fixed their mistakes, but Shane's Fence Co has NEVER permanently fixed a mistake of theirs. They pour inadequate foundation for heavy gates that has caused ours to sag again and again for years (they "fixed" it multiple times already, but it keeps sagging). Now they are screening our calls and leaving us to watch as our gate gets worse and worse. Additionally, I was quoted that they would trench all around our property, which is something g they never did.

They said they would "fix" it after we put grass in, but the most problematic area is a side of our yard that will never have grass. Our pedestrian gate is unusable because of shifting foundations.

Shane's fence company has caused nothing but headaches for us. We bought an old abandoned house back in 2015 and one of the first things we wanted to do was put a good fence around it with a nice big gate. I had three companies come give us quotes, and Shane quoted the best (not necessarily cheapest) for what we were looking for. I raised concerns that one side of our property was higher than the other, and he said that they would trench all around so that the fence was uniform around the yard.

After they started and weren't trenching everywhere I raised concerns, and he said they would come back and make it beautiful after grass was put in. He talked us into getting a more powerful motor because our gate was a heavy solid wood, and we thought it would be worth it to keep the fence working for a decade. We've had our fence for a couple of years now and have had to call Shane multiple times to fix it.

The foundation they poured for the gate has been nowhere near sufficient and they have come out three or four times to "fix" it already, and have now stopped taking our calls. Additionally, with the benefit of hindsight, there is no way they can adjust our fence on one of the sides to make it look good. I was quoted a fence that had good trenching all around and a gate that wouldn't sag, but instead we have a fence with gaps on the ground in places and a gate that keeps sagging farther and farther down.

Shane's fence company was the only one who was able to review my survey, find the property stake, answer property line questions and include permit in the quote. His price was the best, wood quality was great and job well executed.

Their drivers are rude and do not know how to merge in traffic. There is construction all over 290, and for a big truck to have to bully their way through traffic is a disappointing representation of their company.

Very difficult to get in touch with. When I finally spoke with Shane, he promised me his men would be out to my house to refinish a metal staircase he had installed several years prior. His men never showed up and Shane did not return my phone calls. Very unreliable. Will never use again.
