ART Fences

Art Fences installed my gate mid- June 2021 and within two weeks of the install my gate sagged and no longer closed correctly. At the time of the sale, the owner told me Art Fences would stand behind their work and would fix any problems with the gate. Later when contacted, the owner said that Art Fences was not responsible for sagging gates due to soil problems (soil problem was merely an assumption on his part, as he had no proof) and it would cost me $475 to repair the gate.so just a tip.get a written warranty specifying that sagging gates will be repaired under warranty at " no charge".

It is now January 2022 and repeated phone calls to the owner for repair- even at the $475 price tag, have been ignored- ie no call backs so I am left to repair the gate on my own. My advice to all potential Art Fences customers would be to either get your warranties in writing or find a more reputable company to build your fence or gate. Next stop is the Better Business Association to report Art Fences. Meanwhile, hopefully, I can fix my own $5K gate!

Julio and his crew are very professional and punctual. They did a fantastic job with the automatic gate and chain link fence. They were very dedicated and stayed late until 8:30 pm to complete the job. Services: Chain link fence installation, Automatic gate installation & repairs

Art fence company is not a reliable company. I say this because they have no word. They kept us on hold for two months after promising our fence would be ready in two weeks. They never call you up to keep you informed, you, the customer will have to keep calling them for info. I think after you give them the half payment they just move on to the next victim, they know most people can't afford to allow that money to go down the drain so they have no chose but to wait.

When they finally did come to do the work the fence was put up crooked. I told Julio about the fence he promised he would come out to check on it, but of course he did not keep his word. Another thing the lady that answers the phone is rude. One thing I can say the fencing is of good quality. Not happy with the service.

Such a great customer service. Although the winter storm here in Texas delay services Art Fences continued to stay in communication with their customers. Not only did they do a superb job after the services were rendered they followed up with us to ensure we were satisfied. Art Fences thank you so much for everything we truly love our gate.

I called Art Fences back in June and started my relationship with this company. They were very professional and most helpful. They are responsive to your needs and respectful of your time. They bent over backward to work with me. I'm new to Houston and I've been driving back and forth from Austin. They were very accommodating for my schedule and were able to give me solid dates for appointments.

The company is family operated and all the employees who showed up to do their respective part of the project were kind, polite and very professional. I wish I could rate this business higher, because they deserve it. If you need a steel fence, these are the people you want to do your job. Their work is very high quality. I can't compliment them enough!

Hired this company to install an electric gate opener and key pad. I called and spoke with Julio on a Thursday, Friday he arrived to my home and provided a free estimation of total cost. On Saturday his two employees arrived and installed a the automatic gate opener, keypad and with also provided three car remotes.,B oth employees were also friendly and very professional and only took a few hours for the job to be completed. It has been almost 2 years and have had no issues. I did call them to order an additional remote control and had no issues. Highly recommend this company!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Somebody hit my fence with their car, and it wouldn't open, stranding me at home. I called Art Fences at 2 p.m., and Julio was it my house by 3:15 and the work was completed by 5:15. They even made sure my gate opener worked properly. All of this during a pandemic and at a good price, when they had other jobs to do, because they cared that I was stuck on my property until the fence was repaired. I will recommend Art Fences to anyone and will hire them again on my next fence project.

Julio, and his team are the "BEST" I highly recommend them. They Custome made & installed our rod iron fench around our 5 Acers. And made a custom beautiful gate that's the best in our neighbourhood. Julio also looked at my wine cellar listen to what I like. And custom made a show stopper door. That all my guest rave about. I just love it. Some eveing I just sit with a glass of wine and admire it. It's that stunning.

We had contracted Art previously with good results. This last month we contacted him to make various repairs. Although we agreed on pricing and timing. Art failed to do the work, and was very difficult to communicate status, for every 4 times we would try to reach him he would not reply. This was very important to us in order to make our house ready to sell which he was aware of. We were very disappointed at the lack of communication and professionalism, this really let us down.

A great team to work with! The project was quoted competitively with the work done in a timely matter (completed within 10 days of the HOA's approval). The materials and the installation process looked good to me, no complaints at all. Kudos to the crew for attention to details and final touches making sure everything works great.

Julio and his team did an exceptional job in our wood fence replacement. Great pricing and quality workmanship. After speaking with Julio, he was very knowledgeable about the best materials for the project. I had a custom section that I wanted installed that was seamless to the outside based on our HOA requirements. He did an excellent job in creating an easy way for me to get my boat in and out of our back yard. Thank you so much Art Fences.

If I could give a negative star I would. Paid 1100 for a security gate and less than two months the lock will not work. I called to have them come and repair and check and cannot come today and will do me a favor and come tomorrow. This was after he hung up and I called back to talk to his office or wife. She will let me know tomorrow when can come but normally they take two weeks.

They had no problem taking a check. This is not service but tells me they are interested in sales and not follow up for customers. They said they have been around 20 years --well good luck there are many fence places so if this is your idea of building customer service and your reputation I will be glad to tell anyone I know about their attitude. Still waiting for call back. Said they would call today to let me know time and when I call no answer.

I have moved to complaint to BBB. Do not hire these people as they will take money and never provide warranty service afterwards. In fairness they did come out for a ten minute fix. Why do I have to get the supreme run around. I think it may have had to do with BBB threat.

Art Fences provided an iron entry gate, with a gate opener. Not only is their work high quality workmanship, it was very affordable. I would highly recommend Art Fences for all of your fencing and driveway gate needs.

These guys are crooks, their work is shoddy and they do not deliver the materials or workmanship that they guarantee. I had a horrible experience, they lied about giving me a powder coated wrought iron fence as stated in the contract and instead showed up with spray painted aluminum fence that they installed despite my wife telling them it was not acceptable material (and after getting 50% down).

When I came home and saw it I told them I would not pay for the rest and to give me my money back and take the fence back. Instead he attempted legal action, when his lawyer told him he had no case he sent a negative collection account to the credit agencies.
