JS Pest Control

I have been a customer for a few years now. When we purchased our house in 2017, we did not think about pest control. We had moved from Las Vegas in 2010 and used them previously. Warmer months tend to start bringing the creepy crawlers indoors so we decided to contact JS to help us out. They sent out Anthony who is always professional and courteous. He's always on time and takes your concerns into consideration. Whatever it is they use works because I have NO bugs in my house and I don't have to worry about it being dangerous to my family or pets.

This company was exceptional. We called them to provide general service on a bimonthly schedule for both inside and out. They came the next day. Our technician was on time, very knowledgeable, and friendly. The price matched the quote and was very affordable. We relocated from Florida and it was difficult to find a pest control company as good as JS in Florida. I highly recommend this company!

Just moved into my big new house and had Js come to spray I and out of the house before moving in. Just called to let them know that the spray didn't work and we have scorpions all over. There answer was well it's past the 30 day guarantee! It's just a cpl days past because I didn't call last week when we started to see them. Thinking because they sprayed maybe that's why we see more of them.

So instead of taking care of there client and making me happy after 250 for spraying that did nothing, and having me as a steady happy client they decided to just say sorry! Terrible customer service and bug service! Don't use this company.

I'm really upset because I hired them to exterminate bed bugs from my bed headboard where the infestation was. And they charged me $200. Sprayed minimal to nothing. They followed up 3 weeks later. I still kept seeing live bed bugs. I was soo frustrated I ended up throwing away my entire King sized bed overall. Service: Bed bug extermination

Call this company if you're into animal cruelty. I'm not a fan of pigeons but neither me or the other residents approve of throwing live birds into a hefty bag to attack each other before suffocating. And per your website you provide humane removal? Appears to be torture and doesn't seem to be legal

The gentleman who serviced our bee problem, Ricky L., was very knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to explain why we had the issue and how it occurred. I called JS to spray my olive trees in the fall this year- they told me it wasn't the season but they would take my number and call me in Feb. To my surprise- months later.they called. I would have missed the opportunity to spray this year had they not got in touch with me. They were professional and speedy. The price was very reasonable. I'll use them again

Based upon their stellar customer reviews, I reached out to them to see about spraying my 53 olive tree. I was not disappointed. From initial conversation with Casandra to Roscoe completing the job took about 24 hours. They will be my go-to company going forward. Great job.

We live JS PEST control. We have used them for several years now to sterilize our olive tree. It is a game changer to not have all of a drop in Oliver yard. I especially love the fact that you don't need to put a reminder on your calendar to call them as they reach out every year when it is time for treatment. Everyone I speak to at the business is fantastic Cassandra Cassandra has been wonderful helping us with our scheduled to ensure that we can keep our dog inside. Our Tech Roscoe came out he was such a pleasure to deal with and very professional. I would recommend this company to anybody they are fantastic!

Robert was our technician today. This was the first time we actually observed him during the course of his job. He was wonderful! He had no idea we were watching him, and he could not have been more thorough. He was so good that I called JS and requested him personally. GREAT JOB!

I needed a termite inspection for a re-finance. Danny came out and was friendly, in uniform and even his truck was immaculate. He could not have been nicer or more efficient. This is how a customer wants to be treated. I happily give J.S. Pest Control 5 stars.

I've been with JS Pest for almost 4 years now. They have absolutely kept my properties bug free. TJ is the best!

We had a huge problem with scorpions, so we contacted JS and were helped quickly. We have now used them for a few years, Jorge is our technician and is wonderful. Never had any issues with the backyard gate being left open as we have had with others. He responds quickly to any messages and is always friendly. Definitely a great company!

Didn't get to hire them. Contacted them because my security camera picked up what looked like a rodent crawling on my side yard wall. I also saw something that looks like a nest on the side on top the roof. I wanted someone to come out and take a look. They assigned the issue to Michael. Very nice & informative. Scheduled to come out on a Friday at 3:30, no call, no show.

I left a message on their website. He called me Monday or Tuesday and said he couldn't come out the following Friday, because he had something personal to do and wouldn't be able to that day. He asked if Saturday would work for me, I said yes and he scheduled for Saturday at 9:00 AM. Again, no call-no show. No messages, nothing. So I left another message on their website.

Then he called because his boss called him about it. He said he didn't know what happened. The appointment was crossed off his schedule. Needless to say, I thanked him for his time, since my time didn't seem valuable, and told him I will find another company. So, if you need something done in a timely manner, DON'T USE THEM.

I feel bad For forgetting his name but it was either TJ or JR was amazing and made sure that he came out the next day when I had a scorpion issue even came in early to help me out. I have used our pest-control for a long time and they're awesome. I've even used to use them about 30 years ago and the apartments I used to run and they were great then and great now. I wouldn't go anywhere else

These guys are great! They always give excellent customer service. I've been with them for almost 4 years and have no pets problems. Do yourself a favor and contact them immediately.

I hardly give bad reviews but I think this time I have to. They cancel our service without telling us. According to the person that I spoke with the technician was not comfortable going to our house. They should have atleast called us and let us know that they are cancelling their service to us so we know.

JS pest control is the best. They did not try to sell me services that I didn't need. They also responded to me when I thought I had a situation with scorpions and it turns out I don't and they responded within the hour to my house. Rickey is the best. He always calls me to give me the time frame of when he's going to come spray. Recently he had a coworker contact me to make sure that the service was done. He is very friendly very informative and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this company for their expertise in customer service skills especially Rickey

I am Writing this review because everyone should know what an awesome company this is and I am currently using the LandScaping department of the company and I have had the best care. this company has concern for your issues and everybody I have dealt with from Eric to STEVE to Krystal they have all been very kind caring and concerned about my water leaking issues. I really want the community to know that this is your best choice with your pest control and landscaping needs I give them a five star!

First off, this was my first experience with this company. I had a beehive grow in my backyard, inside of an irrigation box that's in the ground. I called and set up an appointment, to my surprise, they said they could have someone there within the next 2-4 hours. Even better, they showed up in only 1 hour. I was impressed. The tech, Jorge, got set up and went to go check it out.

First he told me a little about what was going to happen, definitely left some details out before he got started. Also, the dispatcher gave me no information about how it would be handled. So the tech thinks dispatch will explain everything and dispatch thinks the tech will. Terrible communication. The tech proceeds to make a big mess in the backyard while killing the bees.

The hive was located in one corner of the yard and he takes the combs and dead bees halfway across the yard to dump it into rocks and leaving the honey drippings everywhere along the way. He takes off the top of the irrigation box off and bangs it against the wall to get any residuals off. He takes the combs, but leaves all the dead bees in the rocks.

When I ask him about it, he tells me that he is not required to do any clean up, but he took care of the combs because he's a "nice guy." Very unprofessional and somewhat condescending. So I called back to the dispatch to find out why none of that was explained to me, she put me on hold for like 10 minutes and had the service manager call me back to help.

He got back to me pretty quickly and came to the house, and could not explain to me why he would walk across half the yard to make a big mess or why neither the tech nor the dispatch gave me more details on how this would be handled. Also, because he left honey drippings all over, the bees that were supposed to come back to the hive decided to go to the drippings and stay there.

The good news is that the service manager tried to make it right by picking up the dead bees and having the tech come back out and finish the job. For all of this though, 14% off. I guess that's better than nothing but what a hassle. Never again guys. Terrible communication, terrible customer service.

Ever since it started warming up again the creepy crawlers decided to come inside my house to find refuge. I also found out I had a bee problem. After a few days we decided we had enough. I had previously used this company back in 2009 at my in-laws house. They had a huge roach problem and we didn't want our son to get sick. The problem went away within a couple of days. Well the same story applies here, they took care of the bees and other critters in a matter of days. They took care of the inside and outside and everything has been fine.

I am a realtor and used JS Pest Control for a termite inspection for client selling their home. John Longhurst was very thorough and when it was found that the property needed to make some minor repairs to avoid termite infestations, he was very clear and helping me understand what needed to be done. Corrections were made and the house passed inspection. Thanks for the help John!

Tech Chase came to my home and was to install critter guard, metal spikes and bird trapping. Chase wanted to leave bird trap and install critter guard and metal spikes weeks later. After a week Chase come back out to check bird trap and there are no birds in there. I tell Chase birds are hanging out all over the roof and under solar panels. Why don't we install critter guard and metal spikes now to help prevent birds from coming onto the roof?

Chase would not answer any of my questions and became very rude and aggressive. Even my neighbor came out when he heard him yell. Chase refused to have a proper conversation with me and left. I called his office to discuss the situation and asked to send a different tech out next time. Office manager said they are just going to walk off this job. Total job is over 3k guess business is not that important to them. Stay away find another company

The gentleman arrived to spray my Olive tree and were very polite notifying me of their presence and notifying me neighbors to move their cars before the spraying.

Get those pesky critters gone! The gentleman who answered the phone was understanding and empathetic. "Kenneth" presented for a free inspection and told me of the packages they offered. I was desperate. It was affordable. Kenneth is a courteous and kind treasure. Always shows up on time (early mornings!), well-groomed, concerned and a very decent human being. And yes, he helped get the pesky critters gone. Thank you, Js Pest Control and Kenneth. You've made my home livable again.

Wow I was about to give this company another chance! Thank God I came to Yelp! I read reviews on Google and Facebook and they have damn near perfect reviews and come here and I see people having the same experience I did when I used to use them! I used Js back in the day when they were still a baby company back in the early 2000's they had a history of showing up with no warning and charging us.

One day a technician showed up unannounced goes in my backyard and my dog was outside. naturally she started barking she never got aggressive but she had every right to, he was intruding and my dog was little she was maybe 15lbs. The technician had the audacity to hit my dog with his metal sprayer on her head. I ran outside told him to get the fuck off my property before I stuck that sprayer where the great lord split him(I was actually more vulgar than that).

I called the manager told them if I saw any of them on my property again the police would be called and I never used them or saw them again. My dog was ok she was scared but not hurt. I am looking for an affordable reliable exterminator I figured its been 15 or so years maybe they matured as a company but clearly not! I see they still come on property unannounced.

I'm not sure why this company has poor reviews on yelp- ironically they are all about technicians driving not about their actual service? So far my experience with JS has been superb. Service is great! Easy to book, easy to contact. We have been pest free for the last few months since using them. We had a bbq and leftover food brought ants (our mistake)- our tech came out next morning to spray & had no issues afterwards. Routine checks are quick. Highly recommend!

These people are awesome! We've used them for 12 years. A guy named Nick was our first and he was amazing! Super nice guy. For the past 2 years TJ has been our guy and he is equally as good. He calls and text to make sure we know when he's coming and most importantly.no bugs! Leaving Las Vegas now but thanks JS!

I haven't used their service, but I can tell you I never will and neither will my friends. This morning one of their vehicles was next to me on the highway. Well I don't read minds and this fool wanted to get over in my lane and get off the highway. Well he just literally comes over at me, I'm honking my horn and he keeps coming making me go into the shoulder of the highway! Luckily enough I was ok but I was unable to get his truck number to report him to the police. No wonder these people have low reviews here.

Can I put a - *? I have not used their services, however this AM around 6:05 (3/20/19) one of their drivers was in a right turn lane only at a red light. I did not see him until it was almost too late, but he went straight when the light turned green. There is construction at the intersection of Craig/Decatur, and in the one and only straight through lane, there is a concrete barrier to the left of traffic. Had I not seen him at the last second, and honk/slam on my brakes, I would have hit the barrier.

I called the company immediately, and have not had any sort of acknowledgement. I sure hope their service is better then their driving.oh and here are some still shots from my dash cam footage. Of course the video is way better, but ignore the date/time on the cam as I had reset my battery the night prior.

Never does the business with this company. This comany's technician would trespass your HOA gate or front yard without allowance as well as they would charge the service without your permission.

I called Js pest control and made an appointment for a tech to come out an assess my conditions and give me a quote. It was a 1 week wait time for their first availability, I accepted this appointment. I was given a 1-3pm window time, I called the day of the appointment at 12pm to confirm techs arrival time. The person I was speaking to put me on hold and called the tech to confirm what approximate time he would be arriving, I was told "around 1:30pm".

Fast forward to after 3pm still no tech, so I called and was told they will check. I was then told that the tech didn't get the paperwork with my appointment on it and that I would have to reschedule for next week. I explained I had already been waiting for a week for this appointment, and that I tech was called today and said he would be arriving around 1:30pm.

The person on the phone used a couple of different excuses as to why the tech didn't make it to my appointment, before reluctantly admitted someone was at Js was not being truthful. Ok I get it- its not the end of the world. but Js pest control when you are unable to make an appointment calling the potential client to notify them so they can schedule their day accordingly is very appreciated.

On the other hand lying to potential client isn't the way to get business, do business or keep business. This is why I choose not to do business with Js pest control. Respectfully.

They forgot to come out the day they said at 7am. Came out the next day at 7am. the rep went into my backyard I pointed to the exact spot where the notbut considerable wasps come out when it's hot. Bearing in mind is early and cold so they are sleeping. The rep says " I didn't see one wasp". I told him they are in the eaves. He CLEARLY didn't want to get a ladder out look for the hive and deal with it in the top story so he said I can spray it but I don't guarantee anything and it will cost an exhorbitent amount He CLEARLY didn't want to help and didn't

I paid them $250 for Bee Hive removal. Claimed they could not get to hive but would use chemicals to kill the bees and they had come out on several occasions each time telling me the bee problem was gone. The next day there were bees still accessing the hive. They came out the last time to use strong chemical and seal the space the bees were using to get to the hive. Bees kept coming back. I paid another company $250 to remove hive which they did the next day and the bee problem is gone.

Great service! We had a terrible ant infestation when we bought our new home. Tim from JS was able to take care of it and KEEP it taken care of after a series of visits throughout the year, and at an affordable cost.

I do not recommend JS Pest Control. The first time they sprayed my house they took their time and did a good job, but every time after that they usually spend about 2-3 min spraying and would not get everywhere.

This company is so Amazing they are very professional and reliable and from start to finish flawless and in this town you know how hard it can be to find someone that you can trust i highly recommend them and will use them in the future.
