Although I never met Rick, he was easy to reach. The team ripping out old insulation worked hard in the high heat. Due to worker shortage (COVID?) removal took longer than planned. Albert who put the foam spray in was fantastic. Some damage to ceiling occurred and was quickly repaired to my satisfaction at no cost. I would recommend Barrier to others.

My ac guy told me I have practically no insulation need to get asap to fix my cooling problems First one I reached out to was barrier at AZinsulation.com Rich called me and gave me my two most cost effective options gave me the quick rundown on what's the difference and didn't pressure at all. I did due diligence called other places couple in the same range but a tad more until they tell me of add on for this add on for that I immediately emailed Rich back to see what hidden fees to expect.

He said none the price I told you per sqf is it. I replied let's book. He realized I want it ASAP and got me squeezed in 2 days later. His son and another worker came by 6am. So nice. Made sure to work quietly not to disturb the sleeping kids. So respectful. Apologetic when my fuse was blowing and needed to switch the outlet they were using. Gave me a rundown of what they did and cleaned up after themselves! I totally recommend them! On honesty alone plus on top for kindness and alacrity!

Rick was amazing to work with. They came 2 days did removal of installation and then 3rd day sprayed attic with open cell foam. Amazing. Helping all of us understand the difference between open cell and closed cell and all the variables in it. The reason why I'm updating this review is because once the job completed I noticed fiberglass all over my laundry room. This being like the didn't do at clean up at all when the job was finished. I would give a 5 star but took me forever to clean all of it up. Still finding some.

Price is fair and the quoting process was easy. All works were done on-time and my home is quite clean after the work was done. Communication throughout the process was quick and all questions were addressed. I personally inspected the work in the attic and it looks good. My heat pump probably only turned on half as much as before, the home temperature and humidity seems to fluctuate less. They are priced competitively but probably not the cheapest around. However, I always trust licensed, bonded and insured contractors more.

Please allow me to add my voice to the growing chorus of satisfied customers. We scheduled these guys to do a reinsulation on our attic and they did a fantastic job. The techs were on time and everything was done as promised for a good price. I will be recommending barrier to folks I know needing this sort of work.

I love it when I luck out and find one of the good contractors in the world.probably because they are so rare. Rick was professional, responsive and did exactly what he promised at the price he quoted. I recommend the company confidently and highly.

Glad I called and selected Barrier to do the insulation work on my home renovation project. I received three to four bids on this job of removing my old blown in insulation from my attic, and installing foam insulation to two exterior walls and under the roof decking in my attic space. Barrier was not the cheapest bid by far, but the most knowledgable for sure when you talk with Rick the owner.

You need to be real careful on who you choose to blow foam in your attic/structure, the cheapest contractor can end up becoming the most expensive and causing you long term headaches and problems down the road. Do your research on this, the installer can be in-experienced, which leads to other problems, they can be using cheap Chinese foam, causing sick building syndrome, etc.

These guys have you covered and protected from those very real and potential issues, using spray foam insulation. I highly recommend you end your search here, you will be glad you did.

Highly recommend Barrier Insulation. They are great to work with. Had R30 insulation added to my home in North Phoenix. Easy to get a quote and was easy to stay in contact with throughout the process. Not sure if these guys ever sleep! Very pleased with the install team. Knowledgeable and friendly. Christian and David showed up on time for the appointment and were two of the most courteous young men I have dealt with in a long time. They got right to work and stayed with it (even in this heat) and when they left there was no indication they were here. Clean, competent and courteous. I recommend this service highly.

This is the tough case story where Barrier stuck it out until the bitter end in order to satisfy the customer. I unknowingly had a leaky roof that understandably made the insulation foam smell. Rick got a general contractor involved to help track down the problem and is even going to replace the wet foam at cost for me. Barrier is a seriously amazing business that stands behind not only their excellent work but the overall value expected. I'm really glad I read the reviews and hope this helps other customers make their choice as well. I'm not a review bot, Barrier is legit.

They did am amazing job insulating my house. It has saved me a ton on keeping my house cool during the summer, and no need for the heater in the winter. They were on time and it was definitely a great price. Overall they did an outstanding job. Would recommend to anyone.

We had our uninsulated sheet metal duct runs insulated in our attic. Miguel (the spray tech) came out and spent 8 hours spray foaming all of our trunk lines. I cannot say enough on how amazing this guy is. He is a hard worker and delivers amazing service. Barrier Insulation gets my vote for a great insulation contractor. I will use them for any future projects and will recommend to anyone who is looking to spray foam

The summer is upon us and we needed insulation in our house. The previous owners never added to the original insulation. I called and was able to set up an appointment for the next week. The crew came out and did an excellent job. They were professional and polite. They cleaned up when they finished. I'm extremely happy with the service and the value I received. I will definitely be using them again.

Scheduled an appointment for been 6-7 am making the scheduler fully aware of a prior engagement at 1100. At 8:00, no one had showed up, so I called. The same guy says they are running a bit behind but assured me they would be there before 9. At 8:30 I get a call from the installer who says they should arrive between 9 and 10. I call the scheduler back and tell him that is not going to work, he seemed put off and I reminded him of my previous engagement and told him I don't want his people to rush and I don't want to rush.

He agreed to reschedule. After two weeks of the run around, I finally got another appointment. I was told I would be last on the list but they would be at my house by 2pm "at the latest". 1:30 and nothing. Called and he says I am next on the list and they are about half way through their current job. Asked how long the jobs usually take, he says an hour, sometimes an hour and a half. Assured me that they would be at my house by 3:30. Installers called at 10 after 4 and I told them to forget it. Obviously don't know anything about keeping appointments or proper scheduling of time. Disappointed after reading such glowing reviews.

Use this company! They are by far one of the most informative, honest and helpful businesses I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
