First Atlantic Restoration

My water bill for the last three months was excessively high. I contacted Public Work and they sent a worker out to read my meter. They informed me nothing was wrong with my meter. Three months later my water bill was still high and I contacted a water leaking company. They located a leak in the walls between my bathroom and laundry room. Mr. Rooter took care of the water leak issue and the water damage to the laundry room, bath room and master bedroom was taken care of by First Atlantic Restoration (F A R).

I would recommend F A R Company without doubt hesitation! They are a Class A company, well staff with creditable employees (professionals) who they complete their assignments in a "Can Do" spirit in the best interest and welfare of their customers. In particular I need to mention Jeff Corey, lead carpenter, that is highly impressive, works extremally well on his own, , reviews what needs to be done, performs his work in a step-by-step fashion, does the job "Right the first time around" saving the customer and his company money. It's most impressive F A R's Communication Skill in keeping their customers informed coupled with their Staff's daily updates.

The technician (Carlos Bashir) was thorough and kept me apprised of any additional demo that would be required as they were opening up the walls and flooring and discovering additional damages. Very courteous and put down plastic so my carpet would not be damaged from walking back and forth. Very professional and we are very appreciative!

Nationwide placed a service request with First Atlantic today 3/21/22 and within an hour Tyler and Josh arrived. Not only did they educate me about the process that was going to take place they guided me through the process and began to work immediately to ensure my son and I could be replaced safely and placed back in our home as soon as possible! I am very happy this far and grateful!

Exceptional team, customer service, and final product! Jon Rider, Penny, Ken, Jeff, and Seth were phenomenal from beginning to end. Jon was in contact with me often, explaining everything thoroughly so I knew what to expect. Penny always kept me updated on quotes and finances. Ken, Jeff, and Seth were always fun to have around; professional, kind, and very knowledgeable in their skills. Grateful for this team's hard work and dedication!

First Atlantic Restoration was very professional and attentive during a difficult time. From the beginning Zach responded immediately and started this process. Can't say enough good things about the crew that did the demo Carlos, Tyler, Andrew, Javanni, Mark and Sandy they were great. I was assigned a project manger immediately and met Lynsey and Andrew the first day they also were very professional and attentive explaining the process in detail and keep me informed.

It's rarely an ideal day when having to call a restoration company for service due to a water leak. I can say that First Atlantic did a great job putting me at ease and getting my needs addressed promptly and keeping me informed as to what was happening. Weekend service was originally performed by Kara who was the weekend supervisor and she was fantastic and took her time to make sure I understood what was happening.

When it came time to removed ruined materials from walls and floor and set up containment while drying out the affected room Rafael, Jake, Phil, Ollie and Loli all came to get us fixed up. They arrived on time and were very thorough. Additionally all members of the team were very respectful of our home and work from home schedule. All members of the team were friendly and professional.

I really appreciated them answering my questions and making sure I stayed in the loop as to what steps would occur next. Overall, I am very happy with the service I have received and appreciate the First Atlantic team helping me through this process. I would recommend them to anyone in need of restoration services in the Hampton Roads area!

We had water leaking from the upstairs bathrooms onto the kitchen ceiling below. Courtney, Meghan, and Laura answered my calls and sent us terrific teams every step of the way- Sandy and Phil, and Carlos and Hayley accessed the issue and dryed out the ceiling, Jon sent us Seth who repaired the ceiling and painted the kitchen so it looked even better than before! Catherine made payment simple by phone.

Hope I don't need to, but would call them again if I ever need to! They were swift, responsive, professional and got us back in shape to host my granddaughter's birthday party by the weekend. Excellent TEAM!

My leasing office hired this company to come in and clean out our air ducts and vents, and I was a bit hesitant because of the relationship between us and the leasing office but honestly, I'd hire First Atlantic again. Carlos and Ollie were on time, super professional, and helped explain everything to us on what was going to happen. They were patient with us, we've been having issues with mold, so we tried our best to explain the full situation to them and they were all ears.

We also didn't have our AC thermostat off properly and they fixed that for us and told us how to turn it back on when we need it, they informed us that it could help bring down our energy bill (which was unexplainably high because we thought we turned it off) so me and my pockets REALLY appreciated that. 10000% recommend, hit them up for anything you'd need. Carlos and Ollie, THANK YOU SO F*CKIN MUCH!

If I could leave 6 stars I would. Austin, Colson, Grady, and Scott were nothing but professional and accommodating with my schedule. This was the first time I had to make a home owner's insurance claim and they made it a breeze. Every single member of the First Atlantic Team was polite, punctual and always went the extra mile to make sure the room they were working in was clean before they left for the day. If you have ANY issues with your home, I CAN NOT recommend these guys enough!

I can't say more good things about this company and their employees. The communication from day one was top notch! Penny would send an email every evening annotating what was done that day, what would be done the following day and what time the crew would arrive the following morning. Jeff, Ken, and Seth's professionalism was like no other contractors I've ever dealt with.

They were polite, timely, informed and efficient. The work was done with pride and the final product showed! Lastly, the project manager, Jon, stayed on top of the progress, submitted the estimate quickly to our insurance company and got his team to work immediately upon approval. I highly recommend this company! Well-done!

They did an excellent job cleaning up the water damage in the house. All the repairs were done in a timely manner. Workman ship was excellent, Troy and his team are very professional. I would call them again if I needed any repairs done.

This company is the absolute worst. They make your disaster and suffering greater than you can ever imagine. I had a bathroom leak, and before they were hired they promised the job would take 5 days and made all these false promises and once they demolished the bathroom completely and took the job that's when they became lazy liars.

I had a large tree fall on my house about a year ago and First Atlantic coordinated the work. In my opinion, this company falls short and borders a lack of ethics. They did send people and contractors to do the work.

Our world was turned upside down when lightening struck our house at 20 minutes after midnight on Fathers Day morning. We did not know what to do and worst, where we need to start. The first contact with First Atlantic at 9 AM that morning took all the guess work out of what should be first and what order things needed to be done.
