Critical: Quality Believe me when I say: use any company besides this company. The most hateful people you will ever meet. I would recommend working with Bullard Fence. The fence crew was extremely professional, courteous and did nice and timely work. We did run into a couple of issues during our fence project, due to the slope of our yard and a broken ground sprinkler, but Monica and the crew were extremely responsive and understanding in continuing to work with us to ensure adjustments were made so that we were happy with the fence, and that the sprinkler was fixed.
Their pricing was fair, customer service was excellent and their fence crew were absolute professionals. I'd recommend Bullard to anyone in the area looking to get a fence put in.

Bullard put a fence in our back yard last August. By January the gates were sagging and almost completely inoperable. After contacting Bullard (Jan 26, 2020 - prior to any pandemic lock down) I was told a crew would be out to fix both gates and a 4x4 post that was attached to the side of our house with three small inadequate wood screws. I waited a few weeks and contacted Bullard again and received the same response.
Finally after two more months of waiting I sent pictures to Bullard and was assured the pictures were being printed and given to a crew who would repair our gates. I finally gave up on Bullard to stand behind their work and honor their warranty and fixed the gates myself. I replaced hard ware with correct lag bolts and adjusted hardware placement to ensure the gates closed easily and properly. Bullard Fence completely quit corresponding with me, never returned a phone call, and ignored multiple repair requests.
After doing a little digging I've found several other complaints about Bullard's lack of customer support. They also have 7 complaints filed agains them on bbb.org so please do your research and avoid using Bullard Fence. I'm amending my initial review of Bullard due to poor customer service.

I won't recommend this company. Based on the reviews, I shouldn't of called in the first place. As a potential customer and buyer, I recently purchased a home and looking to fence in my back yard. Scheduled an appointment and the guy was a no show! Not only was he a no show, the company didn't at least provide a courtesy call, email, text, smoke signals, NOTHING!

March 3, 2018~ Our fence was just completed! To say we were satisfied is an understatement! The work was done in a timely manner and it looks amazing! When we originally called and left a message, they called us back within 24 hours, and within 48 hours had an estimator at the house. The work was completed less than 2 weeks later! Do NOT use. Most unprofessional company I have ever worked with and I just built a house so we worked with a LOT of contractors. We asked for something to be done and it was 3 part total, when the two guys showed up to do it, they only did 2 out of the 3 things we were paying them to do and said they weren't aware of the other. I asked what next steps was and I got "I don't know, whatever" with a large dose of attitude and annoyance that I was even asking.
Then come to find out the one with the biggest attitude was the OWNER of the company. He then started complaining to his coworker about me and said "oh man, we got to get out of here" Stay away. Note: this is the first bad review I have ever written about a company, so I am not "one of those people" but the customer experience was so bad I felt obligated to warn others.

Theses guys were courteous, quick and thorough. We had them all away our old fence that was damaged by hurricane Irma. Reasonable pricing, not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. The owners listened and fulfilled our request. Great quality workmanship. I called three other companies, for quotes, Bullard actually came out to my property instead of quoting over the phone.

I was given a quote a year ago and my husband and I decided to wait. I recently re-engaged with Bullard Fence as we were financially ready to commit to this project. After 3 weeks of back and forth and an un-godly amount of unprofessionalism in regards to follow up. My experience has been calling multiple times a day with no answer, being told I would get a follow up but then don't, and then not clarifying they would need to re-assess after a year.
The owner Shawn (Sean?) called me after I wrote in asking for resolution and basically tried to argue with me and put this all on me. WRONG THING TO DO TO A CUSTOMER WHO IS JUST TRYING TO PAY YOU. We decided if this is any indication of the service they provide, then we will use someone else. I DO NOT recommend this company if you actually want / need follow up in a timely manner.

I wish I had never picked this company! Person which did measure was nice, quote was reasonable. Quality of finished install --VERY disappointing. Had to repeatedly come back vs correcting in one visit. Never did as requested in one area of yard - I even offered to pay extra! Owner promised numerous times to come look at job -- NEVER came. This job cost me almost $7500 and I am extremely dissatisfied.

Save yourself the trouble! I hired Bullard to replace my fence, despite the fact that the job was never accurately quoted (drawings were backward with wrong dimensions, they ignored my request to itemize the work and they never provided an update quote after 2 requests when I had to adjust the project scope). I chose to move forward anyway as they stick-built the fence and thought this meant superior construction- mistake #1.
I tore down the old fence myself to save a bit off the quote was high but left the posts in the ground as agreed. I understood it was going to be a 1-day job. They didn't show up on day 1 as they misunderstood my request to update the quote. No communication until I reached out. They showed up late day 2. They chose to saw the posts off rather than dig them up in the perfectly straight and sprinkler--free line they were in (I did NOT OK this). Then, they were unable to put in a straight fence because they were the old dodging posts and sprinkler line. Ok, I concede the sprinkler lines were in the way and that's not their fault but the post placement they tried to sell me on after day 1 was a ridiculous zig-zag mess.
It was laughable. The owner ( I think?) came out and swore to make it right. I believed him, . mistake #2. Fast forward 3 more days and 2 trips in the middle of the work day to Home Depot with money out of my pocket to fix the multiple sprinkler lines they broke that were flooding the backyard (you guys do this fence install thing all the time right?
Think you might ask about the cutoff or be able to easily identify?). The fence ended a little straighter but they never packed the posts properly and several of them were leaning before they left. The gates had big gaps and on no longer closes without having to lift it. No one offered to review the work with me or asked me if I was OK with it. We stepped out for an hour and they just left.
I emailed as I understand that things happen and sometimes how a buisness recovers is as important as their first attempt. There was no offer to fix immediately and the response was delayed. When they finally got back to me, I asked for a reasonable financial concesssion given that: the job took 5 days longer than stated, it wasn't finished appropriately, they cost me money in cancelled meetings and work time and the product didn't meet my expectations nor was I offered an opportunity to walk with anyone from the company ( I certainly wasn't asking for the farm).
They offered a joke of a concession and were steadfast on offering nothing more. That's their view on customer service in a nutshell. Poor communicators, poor customer service, mediocre product. Do yourself a favor and roll the dice on another company. There's an ethical fence company out there in Jax, but in my opinion, it is not this one.

I'm not one that normally write your views or bashes companies, but this company is worth this review. The fence was installed in a timely manner. However after just over a year the gate started to fall apart. When I contacted them it has taken them over two months to respond, and even has of now they have not repaired the fence. Every time I call they respond with "we will come out this weekend and fix it "however they never do. Beware

This company is by far the best I have experienced! I went through quite a bit of trouble trying to find a fencing company that was reasonable but also trustworthy. Bullard went above and beyond my expectations, from their customer service to the professional install, I couldn't have asked for more!

Worst fence company fence! They left on the day they're supposed to install the fence because there was some plants in the way ( they never told me I had to remove the plants. ) then it was very hard to get them to come back to install the fence since they never return phone calls. After the fence was up I had a problem with the gate and I called them every day to ask them to come fix the gate, they kept saying they would call me back to set up a day and guess what? I am still waiting! It was about a month ago, my husband and my pool guy had to fix the gate themselves. So beware!
