H & W Fence

The fence install itself went great, was done in late summer 2020 but after just a few months the gate was tearing in half at the latch, I must have called about 300 times over a 9 month period never reaching anyone. I've left probably 10+ voicemails trying to reach anyone. If you're going to run a business, answer the phone, it's very simple. Never in my life have I seen a business succeed that refuses to interact with its customers both future and past. All I needed was a simple fix from you but was ignored so now I am added to the stack or dissatisfied customers your lack of communication has created.

Wood fence completed last year with 1 year install warranty. Great value and work. Reached out in early May 2021 to fix leaning gate, notified by office it would be scheduled for repair. Ghosted me in May June July August, left several voicemails and emails, no response in 4 months. Not holding up to warranty work like they have in previous jobs. Unfortunately no longer recommend H&W.

Very happy with my new fence. H& W did exactly what they said they would do in the time frame promised. All the employees I dealt with were very professional. This is my second fence with H & W and I recommend their service.

I used this company twice in the past and was very pleased. This time I needed my fence replaced called on Monday was told they would get back with me with the price, since they had the dimensions from the last fence install, by that afternoon. Heard nothing. Called back on Tuesday heard nothing called back on Wednesday heard nothing called back on Thursday.

Finally on Thursday left them a message that if they didn't want to do the job that's fine just let me know. Friday I still have not heard so I called Father and sons who did answer their phone did come on time to the appointment and has scheduled my fence to be replaced within a week. This is no way to treat repeat customers. H&W should be ashamed of themselves.

I'm very disappointed in the non-responsiveness that this company displays. With all my dealings with companies over the years this is the first review I have ever left that was negative but I felt the general public needed to know that this company is not reliable.

I had them install a white vinyl fence. It took a while for them to return my initial call but they gave me the best quote and they did an excellent job. I would recommend them.

Thank you for installing by beautiful new fence and your flexibility to work with some last minute changes. I appreciate that you did your best to keep the project on time even though we'd had tons of rain.

I read the review and noticed H&W did not get very good ratings but I decided to give them a try based on the few positive reviews I did read. I have to tell you that I am so happy I did. From the very beginning, they were professional, knowledgeable, prompt, and answered all my questions. I was given a more than fair quote and even came down a little more after I received another quote from another fencing company.

The sales person Darrel was very polite, extremely helpful especially after I provided him with my Land survey. He saved me from future headaches regarding property lines. He always answered my calls and when he was not available, he would call back within the hour. His office administrator, Michelle, was also very professional, helpful, quick to respond to my emails and very pleasant.

Even the field workers were a joy. They were very polite and if something was wrong or questionable, they would bring it to my attention before moving forward with the project. I put in a ranch style vinyl fence and it looks fantastic. The work was done in a timely manner, they cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. They are a great team. I would highly recommend this company.

Purchase date: 4/2014. Irma (hurricane) 9/11/2017 fence fail into my yard, plant trellis and bench kept it from hitting ground. 9/11/2017: left H&W voice mail reporting damage. 9/12/17: inspected fence and determine the reason the fence fail was rotted post. After 2 weeks and no response from H&W a friend and I detached the 2 panels, uprighted the panels and reattached to rotted post. Propped up fence with boards. Months later H&W showed up unannounced. Tried to blame rotted post on me because the fence was stained.

When I informed them the fence had been stained 2 days earlier the guy changed to the excuse that it was because of how I instructed them to install the fence. What? I know nothing about installing a fence so NO I didn't give them install instructions. Same day spoke to Michelle of H&W and she informed me no part of the fence has a warranty. However, they would be out the next Thursday (1 week later) to replace all rotted post at a reasonable price. Today (1-21-18) they have not been out to repair my fence and refuse to return calls. I do not recommend this company.

So glad we had H & W Fence. They did a great job and we are very pleased with it. They have great work ethics, and superior customer service. Thank you!

H&W installed our fence 2 years ago after Matthew it was leaning. They said they had a special rate to fix for customers and would be out that Friday. Friday came and they were no call no show. I called and left messages that were never returned a week later someone finally picked up at the office they again promised to come out and fix and again were no call no show.

I tried calling again many times to which no one ever picked up the office line and left messages that were never returned. I have now given up and will be finding another company to fix my fence. After the horrible customer service I received I would not recommend this company

Had the install a fence for us about 2 years ago. Noticed all the bad reviews and wanted to say that my experience was EXCELLENT. The communication was amazing and they were fast and prompt. Lots of companies are struggling to deal with hurricane aftermath so understandable that this is no different.

From the first call, to the finished job, 5 stars!. Chris and Billy did a amazing job. Will call back again. Thank you.

Installers did a great job. Darryl saw our vision and did a great job designing our fence. Also did repair work on chain link. No complaints at all. LOVE OUR NEW FENCE!
