The plumber attempted to repair the faucet but was unable to because it needed a new cartridge that I hadn't purchased. I have purchased a new faucet, and am hopeful to have them return to install. However, I was hopeful that I might get a slight discount and they said they couldn't guarantee I would get any discount. Disappointed with that answer after spending $115 for a repair they were unable to complete.
Not their fault, I understand, just thought it would have been good business to offer a little something for a return service. Other than that, I was pleased with the plumber's attempt to fix my problem.

Scheduled removal and replacement of 35 year old shower valve. Paul and his crew roughed in and trimmed out the plumbing in my 1908 historic restoration 35 years ago. Very challenging it was with the balloon framing in this old house. Never a leak! Also, replaced a hot water tank in a rental unit for me a few months ago- no issues. Thanks Paul

I would never recommend PWP to anyone of my friends or business partners in the foreseeable future. They falsely and fraudulently "put a claim of lien" on my property using our notice of commencement number as their instrument number on a conditional lien release as a scare tactic in order to get paid. We were in a negotiating battle for a little over 3 months due to an outrageous invoice where they were charging us for work they came to our property to complete for work we've already paid for but that they messed up and had to redo.
Every time we attempted to communicate with them regarding our final bill Hunter Vann would put it off on someone else and then when we confronted that someone else they'd put it back off on Hunter. They're terrible to work with, terrible customer/ business partner relations. They never showed up when they said they would. We'd have to wait 1-2 weeks to get anyone out just to fix problems they created or didn't finish the last time they were out.
I wouldn't waste your time, energy or efforts by investing in them. Plus, everything they did for us had to be corrected by another plumbing service. They're a joke! If they'd put the customer first, stuck to their word and worked with us, I'd have a lot less to say. As they told me. "it's their right to 'lien' me" (which I checked with our counties clerk of court there were no liens filed against us). it's my right to review their terrible services.

This company is always responsive to my phones call and shows up during the scheduled arrival windows. However, I recently had them replace a solar water heater that was leaking for approximately $1800. After their install the solar portion of my system stopped working. I contacted the company and asked them to come take a look as this was well within their 30 day labor warranty window.
I was told by an employee that they did not have solar techs and I should contact a company that did. (They specifically referenced a sticker that was moved from the old tank to the new one and was for the plumber that originally installed the system.) So, I contacted another company with solar techs and had them come out. Per their investigation, when my solar water heater was replaced, the tank temperature sensor for the solar system was not switched to the new tank.
The new company charged my $160 ($95 for the service and $65 for the part). I contacted Paul Wilson Plumbing and explained what had caused the issue, asking if they would reimburse the cost since the problem resulted from their error. The representative said they would speak with the owner. A few weeks later, I was emailed and told that I should have called them before seeking a third party.
So my contention is this: (1) I should have been told that they did not have solar techs at the time I requested to have my solar water heater replaced. (2) The reason for their refusal to reimburse the cost directly contradicts what occurred when I first reported the problem to them.

When I called them I advised them I had already been "walked through"the error codes by the manufacturer (NORITZ) and they identified the problem and shipped me warranty parts which I had in hand. I was assured by the girl in the office they could install them and scheduled a service call. Upon arrival the tech said the Co. did not have ability to work on Noritz and Techs did not attend service schools. Billed me $75 and left. Call to Wilson fell on deaf ears! BEWARE you may be scheduled for a service call for them to show up, tell you they don t work on your problem, collect a payment and leave.

I was extremely unhappy with my experience. I specifically ordered a particular brand of toilet & confirmed the order before the installer arrived. He brought an off-brand toilet, very cheap looking. When I questioned it, the office manager denied our conversation. I was unable to get any satisfaction regarding my complaint. I will never use or recommend Paul Wilson Plumbing again.
