My family has used Mercury Plumbing for over ten years and they have always been great. My ninety one year old mother had a pipe leak under the slab in her dining room late on Friday night, Huge mess. Mercury responded with in the hour. The technician, Gabriel was great, fast and efficient. Of course this was going to be a bigger because of the location and a previous owner had used substandard materials.
They really worked with my mother to control the cost. I could not be more pleased with the quality of the work, the professionalism of the Tech, the customer service provided by the office. I wish I could give more than five stars

Called for an emergency plumbing service late Saturday night for a pipe leaks, tried several 24 hrs plumbing companies, Mercury Plumbing was the only one that called us back. Thank you Tom. The technician, Gabriel, was polite, professional, and got our problem fixed quick, really appreciate him coming during off hours. Definitely recommend this company

How refreshing to have a company that schedules appointments rather than a "wait until I show schedule". Even better Pedro was on time, actually early. I'm so happy with this company and highly recommend it. Pedro was very professional, knowledgable and did a great job repairing an outdoor spikes on my house and repairing a toilet. He also gave me guidance replacing the kitchen sink. So happy to have answers to my questions.

We are so impressed with Mercury Plumbing! My mother had an issue today and needed assistance right away. She called Mercury Plumbing after a competitor couldn't make it until Friday. Mercury was able to come right away! Our technician Angel was very professional, friendly, and was able to communicate with my mother in Spanish. Angel was able to fix the problem right away and charged her a very reasonable price. We will definitely call them for any future issues, and will absolutely refer them and recommend Mercury Plumbing to others!

May family and I have been using Mercury for years. They always provide consistently good service. I had a clogged kitchen sink and called them to come check it out. Within 2 hours, they had a plumber, Juan, out to see what was causing the issue. He ended up having to snake my drain line and was in and out in under an hour. Very personable and professional. I would HIGHLY recommend Mercury for any of your plumbing needs!

My rental property had a plumbing issue in the last bathroom overnight. I called Mercury Plumbing first thing this morning and they were out to our property within 2.5 hours and were able to quickly repair the issue. The staff on the phone was courteous and helpful. Piss poor customer service. The tech was great however, was unable to complete the job. I paid full price for half the work complete and have been unable to reach management on 3 seperate occasions (calling for over 1 week) to discuss next steps and work out an arrangement. There are plenty of plumbers in town. You should consider engaging one who wants the work.

I would personally never hire them but the community that I live contracted them. Many neighbors will share on here as well that they are intrusive of personal items and space, rude service and they even bullied my neighbor who will also write a review. Hire them and find out or just heed my warning and find a place that actually have customer service skills.

I don't post reviews pretty much never but this was crazy. Last night plumber comes to my apt saying the people downstairs has a water leak, I already knew it was my issue because is not the first time it happens. We determine where it's coming from and we close the water. I told the plumber, don't work on it tonight because is too expensive and I don't have the money but my dad is the owner of the apt so he I need to talk to him to pass me the money so I can pay you so the money won't be available until tomorrow.
I told the plumber please make sure you guys comeback tomorrow and we def do the repair and we can even to the repiping on my apt. He took my info and send it to someone and told me okay someone will call you first in the morning. Also he had to bill the people downstairs, I told him (with the people in front of him) bill them and they will pay you and then tomorrow I will reimburse what they pay tonight for your work.
This is not the first time Mercury has come to my apt, the last 3 times they have been great and their work is good and they always finish on time. I had no complains, their plumbers are super nice and the man on the phone Paul is pretty cool too. So this morning I called at 9:54 am because I haven't hear anything all morning. I talked to Paul and he said someone was working on my repiping estimate and they will come by.
I waited until 2:30 pm until I call again and I talked to Paul again and we realized that there was a confusion over the apts and he said "I'm so sorry for the confusion right now we have all plumbers but I will def try to find someone. I will call you right back". I told Paul I have been without water since last night and I really wanted someone to come by even tomorrow Friday to do the repiping or at least fix the leak.
I called at 4:17 pm and talked to Melinda and I was trying to explain myself and all that has happened and since she picked the phone up she wouldn't let me talk. She said she had no plumbers and I said I understand but I have called twice now and Paul said he will call me be right back. And she started telling she knows the information and being super rude.
So I got angry because nobody should be treated that way, I told her that I was frustrated bc of the issue and the fact that no one has come. And she began to tell me I have never paid Mercury, which is impossible because before they could leave your house you need to pay them, and that this is stalking (because I called back after she hang up on me) and she will call the police and to find another plumber.
Never ever I have been treated this way, and I even work for collections and this is beyond me. Melinda shouldn't be customer service, losing work for their company because horrible attitude.

We had a leaky toilet that needed the seal replaced. I called yesterday and they came out 9am today and fixed the problem in half an hour. They had great communication, the woman in the office was extremely nice, and Angel got the job done so fast I was shocked. 10/10 will definitely be using them in the future for many plumbing issue we ever have.

Excellent service! Ricky and Juan were at my house today to removed clogged pipe. They are extremely knowledgeable and very professional. I can not enough good things about their workmanship. Mercury Pluming on Michigan St. In Orlando is excellent. I have several rental properties and they service them. Today they finished changing all the tub and shower fixtures that were about 50 years old. To be expected there were several issues. Juan was the service person. He is excellent and you should ask for him.

Juan came out and fixed an accident that occurred with my main water line. I was referred to Mercury by a neighbor and I didn't have alot of time. Juan was very professional and did a great job with fixing the problem in a timely and effective manner. Also Mercury did not rip me off like another company was attempting to do. I would recommend them and had no problems at all.

I have been using Mercury Plumbing for over 20 years. I cannot believe that I did not review them earlier. Probably because they come to the home. Marshall was the technician this time. He diagnosed the problem under my kitchen sink, and got right to it. He was probably in and out in twenty minutes. Mercury Plumbing is locally owned, I have been doing a superb job for us for quite a long time. Anything from fixing a leak under a sink, to having a entire home repiped, which they did for me several years ago. I always can depend on Mercury Plumbing.

I would post zero stars, but 1 is the lowest I can go. There are very few guarantees in this world, but one thing you CAN count on, is mercury plumbing doing a poor, inexcusable job every single time. I'm guessing the current owner inherited the company being as how little they know about plumbing. How else could they be in business for as long as they have, yet not have a clue about their actual trade?
If you do not take my advice and decide to choose this sham of a plumbing company, please make sure you share your experience after they've wasted your time and money. This way, others won't make the same mistake that we made and will stay as far away as possible from this Fyre Fest-esque "plumbing" company. Good luck!

I had to wait several days for an appointment with Mercury. The receptionist was nice on the phone. They just didn't show up for the appointment. When I called them, they said they always make a confirmation call before coming out and since I did not answer the phone they decided to not show up. I called Holloway Plumbing. I did not have to wait as long for an appointment. They assured me they come out and if the customer is not there they wait for 15 minutes.

I can not speak highly enough of this company. If you want to pay $200 to learn to fix it yourself give them a call. I called them a while back and am still furious every time I drive by so here I am typing this. We had low toilet flush power problem and called them. We told the guy the problem he said no problem. He showed up put some toilet paper in the bowl and flushed it.
When it didn't go down took the back of the bowl off said everything looked fine and to go get some CLR and spray it around the jets, then handed me a $200 dollar invoice and left. Thanks for the most expensive plumbing lesson ever Mercury. This is why hundreds of people are watching youtube and fixing it themselves you useless bunch of crooks.

I had a great experience with Mercury Plumbing. I needed a pipe repaired under my kitchen sink and shower head replaced. Scheduling was efficient and Tom was knowledgable and honest. I struggled with a vent pipe clog all weekend. I was at the Mercury office when they opened at 9 a.m., as they are located in my neighborhood. They had a packed schedule but I asked for same day service. Within 3 hours Ricky arrived at my house. Within the hour my complicated vent clog was opened and the price was very fair. The price was not inflated due to my emergency. Ricky was very friendly, knowledgeable and careful. Melinda was very helpful and friendly.
There were two gentlemen in the office but I did not catch their names. They were also very friendly. Thank you Mercury Plumbing. I was very pleased. Your mission statement was reflected in the service that I received today.

Called @ 5:30 ish one evening and immediately heard back from a 24 hour emergency tech. He was super kind and informative and possessed understanding of my problem and customer service skills essential for taking a phone call. He asked to speak to my landlord and I connected them. Because my landlord wanted to save some $, she said I'd have to call in the morning to schedule an appt.
No problem, Right? lol 7:45 next morning I called and left a vm - they open @ 8. 8:45 I called again because I had not heard back. I was informed that before I could be put on the schedule, I'd have to have my landlord call back again. She was not available and had already told me to schedule it and told their tech how she was going to pay. Paul explained that was their policy so I asked to speak to the owner.
He took my number and said he'd send the message. 12:45 ish I called back because half the day was spent and I still had not heard back from the owner. Even though I had already found a certified plumber who could come out at the time I needed and was incredibly polite and professional, I still wanted to give Mercury the benefit of the doubt because they were recommended by a friend who used to work there years ago.
I introduced myself to the lady that answered and she immediately knew who I was. She diverted from my request of letting me talk to the owner and explained that the owner was out of town so I might not hear back at all. I told her it makes no difference to me where the owner is; I needed a phone call. She said, "Well how about you find another plumber". Obviously a poor online review is better than a conversation with the person in charge. Unbelievable.

We originally used this company for installing our hot water heater and they did a great job. We called them back to quote on a re-pipe of our house and their quote was significantly lower than the two other quotes we received. Nick and Dave came to do the work and they were smart, efficient, clean and friendly. Had no problem leaving them in our house. Same thing for the the company subcontracted to patch the holes after their work was completed. Melinda in the office was great as well. What a team!

Buyer beware, this is a very dishonest company. Quoted me $150 to change out a hotwater heater T&P valve. If it wasn't an emergency I would have replaced it myself but my wife was hosting a group of ladies at our house within a couple hours. Gave my wife a bill for $250. Unfortnatly, she did not have time to notify me of the change and paid Mercury the $250.
I called them the next business day and they said my wife wanted them to stay long enough to make sure there was no more leaks. Mercury said they couldn't refund any money but would offer a credit toward a future service call. Recently determined the TP valve was leaking again. Mercury said they would replace the valve ($15) but would charge us a service call of $105.
How about warranting your work? No warranty because I didn't notify them within 30 days. I didn't think Mercury's new valve would have been the culprit until I cut the drain line and realized the brand new valve was leaking. I asked about the credit for the future service work, they denied offering that. I asked them if they would mail me a replacement valve so I could install it. Paul refused. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Very disappointed. After buying a house with polybutylene plumbing with the understanding it would need repipe, we had the job quoted and chose Mercury on a recommendation, not the cheapest btw. Guy who quoted work very professional, Lady in office very helpful with paperwork and pulling permits. Three guys showed up and spent all day until about 6, so no water in house.
That I would have been able to overlook had we not had a medicine cabinet broken, shower knob not secured to anything in wall, dishwasher kick plate just set in place without screws put back, leak in laundry room ceiling, garden tub surround hacked up with utility knife. First attempt to correct medicine cabinet a fail because guy brought cheapest one at lowes, not equivalent.
Second return trip to correct other items Chuck did great job. Shouldn't have come to that, all quality of work issues. Then spent two weekends trying to get drywall guy in to close holes in walls. Then had to reach out to the owner to get tub fixed. He was totally clueless to the situation. Lack of attention to detail, expected better.

I called Mercury and they nice lady who answered quickly dispatched a professional in less than 20 mins to my home. Outsourced by my property manager. The plumber was nice but customer service was HORRIBLE. Spoke to 2 different agents - first agent couldn't hear me. She didn't say, "Excuse me ma'am I'm afraid I couldn't hear you. Instead said, "Wait wait wait wait WAIT! You need to speak up or take me off that speaker phone." Then she hung up on me.
The next rep I spoke to was a gentleman. Explained the whole situation from beginning to end. I even told him the customer information is not under my name it should be under my property manager's name or my address. He still collected all of my information which was a waste of 20 minutes of my life and then referenced that he would have an on call rep give me a call. Jason (also VERY RUDE) called.
The environment that we were in was very loud and when he said his name it sounded as if he said his name was Jeovanni. He said, "No! My name is Jason. What do you need." Overall it has been 4 days and there is still a huge hole in my ceiling only to be told that they do not reseal. in the words of Jason, "We are plumbers not carpenters."

BAIT AND SWITCH COMPANY. They gave me a price of $145 labor and $50 to $75 parts and when the job was done handed me a bill for $500 which I Did Not Pay. I tried to work it out and get the price down where I was Quoted and they would not move on there price and said they were going to call the police trying to scare me, I told them " Do and Do it Now Before I do " When the Sheriff showed up I showed the work he did and he seen it was a Scam and told them to Get Off My Property. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

I am very disappointed in Mercury Plumbing. I have used them for 7 years. I recently did an addition, and they gave me a quote for work which was to occur in phases. The payment was front loaded, so I paid them after phase 1, and when phase 2 came around, they refused to honor their quoted price, and wanted more money.

I am very disappointed in Mercury Plumbing. I have used them for 7 years. I recently did an addition, and they gave me a quote for work which was to occur in phases. The payment was front loaded, so I paid them after phase 1, and when phase 2 came around, they refused to honor their quoted price, and wanted more money. I would never have agreed to pay them such a high price for the first phase of the work, except for the fact their phase 2 price was much lower. In any event, lesson learned, and I won't be doing business with them again.

This is my second experience with Mercury Plumbing, both times were exceptional. In March Chuck was able to fix a leak under my house at a price that made me cry with relief, as I previously had terrible experiences with two other well known plumbing names in town that had excessive price tags.for a clogged sink and leaky faucet, they were hundreds more than Mercury.
Today Shane came over to fix a leak in an American Standard tub faucet that is over 50 years old, a job that I was told could not be done. He did it and saved the vintage original hardware to my amazement. Mercury Plumbing is honest, reliable and timely. I am so grateful for them! Thank you so so much Chuck, Shane, and Melinda!
