We just moved to Boise, so asked my agent for a plumber referral since I did not know who to call with a plugged up sink, that we had tried to fix for weeks on our own. Jim showed up on time, and quickly got to the job. He explained what he was doing and why, when he finally unplugged it (thank you!) he told me how to avoid future issues. I was afraid of finding out the cost because in my other state the cost was per job, and he did a lot, but the cost was WAY lower than I had anticipated. He charges per hour instead of job, like others, and for me it saved me $$$$$$ Thank you for being a hard worker, fixing my very big problem, and being affordable!

This guy is should be watched carefully. I had him replace a garbage disposal which he charged me way to much money for. He neglected to get the dishwasher drain pipe reconnected to the new disposal correctly, so it leaked. I had to call him back out to fix it. He tried to charge an additional 130 dollars. I told him he should reconsider charging me if he wanted to keep me as a customer.
It was at that point he blew up. He started yelling and undid the work he had done. I had to kick him out of my house and off my property. I wasn't sure if he was going attack me physically or not. Beware, this guy should be avoided. I will be turning him in to the BBB as well.

I called JRS Plumbing based on stellar Angie's List and Home Adviser reviews. I was not disappointed. Jim installed a new kitchen faucet and gave me estimates on a couple more projects we plan to do in the future. He explained everything in detail and clearly. We will definitely be using JRS Plumbing again!

They were great! Came out rhe same day for an estimate in the evening after work. Did the job and and the price was a fair one. The service was very good and Jim knows his trade. His receptionist went out of her way to help and was so friendly and know what shes doing also. I believe it was a wife. They both were very kind. It is a family owned business and worth the cost. Water heaters are not cheap. I would definately recommend his work. We were very satisfied.

The owner Jim showed up to give a quote on a bathroom remodel he seemed to have a bad attitude as soon as he got out of his truck. He didn't introduce himself to my husband. As I started to explain what we were needing from him he interrupted to inform us that our 70yr old home was not " up to code " (no kidding the codes have changed a lot in that time) in the most rude manner.
Wouldn't even give us options on how he might be able to make thing work up to code. We asked him to leave and he stormed out saying good luck finding someone to do the work and slammed the door. I would advise anyone thinking of hiring this company to reconsider. Remember they are auditioning to you not the other way around!

Jim was great, ,I had another plumber the day before Jim arrived telling me I had four leaks under my house and wanted $500 to fix. I wanted another opinion.called Jim. Jim was under the house come out telling me I had one leak and fixed it in 20 minutes with a very reasonable charge for the fix.he was professional pleasant.if I ever have another plumbing need Jim will be the one I call and would recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber who will not overcharge you and yet do a very competent job.

Called Jim with a leak in our kitchen faucet. He was out the next day as promised and had a new faucet and a garbage disposal installed in no time. He was very pleasant to work with and informative of what it was he was doing. We will definitely call Jim again in the future for our plumbing needs. You should too!

Jim is amazing! I have a very old home and it took some very creative plumbing to add a 1/2 bath upstairs. Jim was very confident in his abilities. He provided a very accurate quote, and completed the job on time! This was no easy task trust me. Jim is fair in his pricing and proved he is a true artist in his field. If you want honesty, professionalism, and skilled work than JRS is your plumber!
